Caruso’s status for Thursday’s game against the Lakers is uncertain at this point. Mitchell played his role well on Monday as a supplementary piece. He made shots when given the opportunity, took advantage of his trips to the charity stripe, and made plays on both ends of the floor. He finished as the team’s second leading scorer on the night despite a fairly unspectacular final line. Mitchell’s next chance to produce will come on Thursday against the Lakers.

Holmgren fouled out of Monday’s contest, but not before coming within arm’s reach of a double-double. The third-year center didn’t look to score much but made over half his shots, and defensively, he showed up with four stocks on the evening. Holmgren has had better games throughout the season, but Monday’s performance was solid from a fantasy standpoint. His final line could have looked better if not for the foul issues that cut his night short.

SGA increased his scoring throughout each quarter on Monday before reaching overtime. Notably, he tallied 13 points in the final frame to help lead the Thunder back from a late seven-point deficit before forcing overtime and ultimately earning the win in the extra period. With no Neemias Queta (thumb), the Celtics turned to Garza to man the middle in Atlanta. And he had a good night, recording his second 20-point game in less than two weeks. Garza, who played 28 minutes, was also responsible for nine rebounds in the 112-102 defeat. Boston does not have another back-to-back this week, which should bode well for Queta’s availability. And that limits Garza’s fantasy value.

Monday’s performance from Brown was not his most efficient, as he finished with low percentages and six turnovers. Back in the Celtics’ lineup after missing Sunday’s win over the Hornets, White had a tough night shooting the basketball in Atlanta. He made one of his six attempts from three and was not much better from two, shooting 2-of-6. However, as has been the case throughout the season, White found other ways to add value. The Celtics’ guard finished with a complete stat line, helping lessen the impact of the poor shooting. Over the last two weeks, White has been shooting 33.8 percent from the field, which is low for a player of his caliber. The Celtics play three more games in Week 23, starting with the Heat on Wednesday.

He played 26 minutes, but he wasn’t able to contribute much in the box score, outside of a decent effort on the glass.
