Even in the postseason, the Hawks continue to list Young as probable with an Achilles injury. The listing is performative, stemming from Young being held out of an NBA Cup game earlier this season despite not appearing on the injury report, which resulted in a $100K fine for the Hawks. With the Hawks’ season on the line Friday, expect Young to be cleared to play once again.

One of the NBA’s best defenders, Daniels is in a position where his team also needs consistent offensive production. He struggled against the Magic, which is unsurprising based on what happened during the regular season. In three appearances against Orlando, Daniels averaged 11.7 points per game on 42.9 percent shooting. He’ll need to be much better on Friday night if the Hawks are to reach the postseason. Atlanta will host the winner of Wednesday’s game between Miami and Chicago on Friday, with the winner being the eighth seed in the East.

After sitting out Sunday’s regular-season finale, Okongwu had a minimal impact on Tuesday’s proceedings in Orlando. After a disappointing start to the season, Claxton was able to redeem himself steadily. The Nets center finished as a seventh-round player in free-throw punt builds, which is only one round worse than his Yahoo! ADP. That said, Claxton’s rebounding and blocked shot production decreased, with the averages of 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks being the lowest for him since the 2021-22 campaign. He’ll remain a key building block for the Nets next season, but the team is undoubtedly hoping that he’ll be more effective on the glass and as a defender.

Martin was allowed to start Sunday’s season finale, his 11th of the season, and the former second-round pick played well. He recorded his second 20-point game in five appearances, and the rebounding production was also encouraging. Martin’s contract for next season is non-guaranteed, making it a fool’s errand to project what value he will provide to fantasy managers. And with the Nets having four first-round picks this summer, Martin’s path to a guaranteed contract will remain challenging.

Mann was one of the few veterans that played on Sunday, and he was able to do more scoring than he typically does for the shorthanded Hawks. He scored 14 points in the third quarter and matched his highest-scoring performance as a Hawk. Mann will play a large reserve role for Atlanta during the postseason, but his role doesn’t typically ask him to score as much as he did in this game. Still, Mann will be an important piece for the Hawks as they try to survive the Play-In Tournament.

Game 82 always provides some fun stat lines, and that was the case in Atlanta on Sunday. Wallace recorded the first triple-double of his career and posted career highs in assists, rebounds and steals. Wallace has had some strong games this season when Trae Young is sidelined, which was the case once again on Sunday. The two-way guard likely won’t see the floor in the postseason, but it was good to see him take advantage of the opportunity in this game.

Both will be available for Wednesday’s play-in tournament matchup with Orlando. Risacher finished with six points, two rebounds, one block and two three-pointers in 10 minutes, with Gueye tallying three points, four rebounds and one three-pointer in seven minutes. Jacob Toppin and Vit Krejci started the third quarter.

Claxton is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. While Precious Achiuwa should be a good matchup for him, fantasy managers in active leagues should assume Claxton will not log starters’ minutes in the regular-season finale. Watford is one of the Nets whose playing time has increased recently, as the front office has prioritized the draft lottery over winning games. His ability to provide value across the board makes Watford a player worth having during the “silly season,” especially when he’s in the starting lineup. After dropping 20 points in Thursday’s loss to the Hawks, Wilson cooled off a bit on Friday. However, he still offered value in the rebound and three-point categories, and the second-year forward has reached double figures in four of his last five appearances. Starter Cameron Johnson has not appeared in a game since March 29. While he hasn’t been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Knicks yet, it’s challenging to envision Cam playing. Johnson has reached double figures in scoring in six of his last seven appearances, including two of 20 points or more. Friday’s performance was one of his best this season, as the Nets guard only missed two shots from the field. In addition to the points, Johnson provided solid value in rebounds, assists and three-pointers. Going into Sunday’s season finale against the Knicks, the concern is playing time, as Johnson only logged 24 minutes. He’s played 25 minutes or less in four straight games, as players like Reece Beekman (11/2/3/3 with one three-pointer in 31 minutes) and Dariq Whitehead (6/2/2/1 with two three-pointers in 20 minutes) pick up additional playing time.

For the 91st time in his career, Young finished with at least 30 points and 10 assists. That puts him 14 games behind LeBron James and James Harden, who are tied for second in NBA history with 105 such games. Young is getting hot at the right time for the Hawks with the postseason approaching. Atlanta clinched the eighth seed in the East on Friday, so Young will likely sit out against the Magic on Sunday. What a night it was for LeVert. He entered halftime with 18 points while shooting a perfect 7-of-7 from the floor and ended up setting a new season-high for scoring. He combined with fellow reserve Georges Niang to provide 47 points and eight triples off the bench, which helped Atlanta overcome a halftime deficit. However, with the Hawks locked in to the eighth seed, he may not play in the season finale on Sunday against Orlando.

Gueye’s role has been inconsistent for Atlanta this season, even as a starter for the past two months. However, this was one of the best performances of his career. Gueye, who is only 22 years old, should continue to start in the postseason for Atlanta, though Quin Snyder won’t hesitate to turn to his veterans off the bench earlier on. LeVert was one of three Hawks to score at least 21 points in Sunday’s victory, and seven reached double figures. That tends to happen when facing the team with the league’s worst defense. While he has not been a fantasy asset during his first two NBA seasons, Whitehead has recently been given more opportunities to show what he can do.
