Porter is back with the team after missing Friday’s win over the Jazz for personal reasons. His absence coincided with the return of Egor Dëmin, so Danny Wolf remained in the starting lineup. Look for the rookie to head back to the bench on Sunday, but he’ll have fantasy value during the silly season.

Brown did not play in Friday’s rout of the Kings, resulting in Baylor Scheierman moving into the starting lineup. Thomas returned after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Nuggets with a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old shooting guard had 21 points in 24 minutes off the bench. Thomas struggled from behind the three-point line, going 1-of-6. The Nets are content to keep him under 25 minutes played, which limits his overall fantasy value and eliminates his ceiling.

Dëmin had arguable his best game as a professional Friday against the Jazz. The 19-year-old shooting guard made NBA history, setting the rookie record for most consecutive games with at least one made three-pointer at 34. The eighth overall pick in last year’s draft, Dëmin had six threes on the night on his way to 25 points and also 10 rebounds. The Nets close out the week against the best team in the East in Detroit on Sunday.

After missing Wednesday’s game against the Hawks due to an illness, Queta was back in the lineup for this game. He was inefficient as a scorer once again, which has been atypical for him this year. He has shot below 40 percent in three straight games, but his percentage over the course of the year is 63.3. However, he was able to make up for it with well-rounded production in other categories. Queta has enjoyed the best season of his career this year, and he should be considered a must-roster player.

Scheierman entered the starting unit with Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) sidelined for this game, which was also the case in Brown’s previous absence. It wasn’t an explosive performance, but Scheierman was able to contribute decent value in an increased role. If Brown remains out against the Bucks on Sunday, Scheierman should be in line to start once again. He was solid in this game and would hold upside as a streamer, but he isn’t worth rostering beyond that.

With Jaylen Brown (hamstring, knee) sidelined for this game, Pritchard took over as the focal point of the offense. He has typically had big nights when Brown is out of the lineup, and that was the case once again in this one. In four games without Brown, he has averaged 26.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 3.8 three-pointers per game. He has been fantastic all season, but this was one of his best performances. If Brown remains out against the Bucks on Sunday, Pritchard should be in for another monster outing.

With Egor Dëmin unavailable, the Nets relied on fellow rookies Traoré and Ben Saraf to run the show in Denver. Traoré logged 30 minutes and had a few good moments, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. The same can be said for Saraf, who went scoreless with two rebounds, three assists and one blocked shot in 18 minutes. Playing in Denver for the first time since being traded to Brooklyn during the offseason, Porter put on a show on Thursday. Not only did he record a season-high point total, but the forward also recorded his eighth double-double. Porter is up to 13 30-point games this season; he totaled ten in his final three seasons in Denver. Tatum ruptured his Achilles tendon during Game 4 of the Celtics’ second-round series against the Knicks last May. Given the reports out of Boston and some of the videos, it appeared that there was a good chance that Tatum would try to come back before the end of the regular season. However, that may not be the path he takes, with the star forward now re-evaluating his options. Brown has scored at least 20 points in 11 consecutive games as he continues to play at an All-NBA level. In eight-cat formats, he’s been close to a top-25 player. In terms of shooting the basketball, White had a relatively efficient night at the office. However, he had the worst game of his NBA career from a turnover standpoint. While this current run doesn’t compare with a stretch earlier this season of nine straight games with at least 30 points, Brown has scored at least 20 in each of his last ten appearances. Chicago’s decision to guard Brown one-on-one without help proved costly, as he torched them for 20 first-half points on an absurdly efficient 7-of-10 shooting from inside three-point range. The 29-year-old franchise cornerstone’s effort was even more impressive considering he played a whopping 46 minutes during Friday night’s double-overtime win over the Nets and has been dealing with a lingering hamstring issue. He saved his best for the final minute going coast-to-coast for a game-tying layup with 14.2 seconds left in regulation. The herculean effort wasn’t enough for Boston as Chicago knocked down 21 three-pointers to squeak out a narrow win. The Celtics have a four-game week on tap that includes matchups against the Trail Blazers, Hawks, Kings and Bucks.
