Johnson provided more of the usual on Saturday, recording a stat line that was nearly full while struggling with his percentages. Over the past two weeks, he’s shot 40.2 percent from the field and 50 percent from the foul line. D’Angelo Russell not playing on Saturday raised Johnson’s ceiling, even though he has been a consistent member of the starting lineup. Tyrese Martin started for Russell and finished with nine points, four rebounds, five assists and three three-pointers in 28 minutes.

Two days after a solid performance against the Pacers came to a premature end due to his ejection, Watford made up for lost time on Saturday. The 26 points are the most he’s scored in a Nets uniform and one shy of his career-high. While Watford is ranked outside the top 200 in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, he’s capable of having days like Saturday. The Nets play four games during Week 21, starting with Dallas on Monday.

Johnson did not play in Thursday’s overtime loss to the Pacers, sitting out for rest reasons. He logged starters’ minutes on Saturday, alleviating the concerns of fantasy managers who may have been curious about how much Johnson would play. His availability is worth watching moving forward, especially with the Nets ending their four-game Week 21 with a Friday/Saturday back-to-back.

The Nets are without D’Angelo Russell and Ziaire Williams, opening up two spots in the starting lineup. One has been filled by Cameron Johnson, who returns to action after sitting out Thursday’s overtime loss to the Pacers. The other change is Martin, who steps in for Russell. This change also means more time on the ball for Keon Johnson, which raises his fantasy ceiling.

Williams was initially listed as questionable, but will ultimately miss Saturday’s game against the Pacers with a hamstring injury. Cameron Johnson will take his spot in the starting lineup as he returns from a one-game absence due to rest, but Tyrese Martin and Trendon Watford figure to see increased minutes off the bench as well.

Tatum was back in the lineup after missing Tuesday’s game against Brooklyn. With the way the schedule worked out, this was Tatum’s first game in almost a week. He extended his 20-point streak to six games, but the extra rest didn’t help his field goal percentage, and he compounded his inefficiencies by turning the ball over six times. Jaylen Brown is set to remain out on Sunday, so Tatum will continue to see a slight uptick in shots for Boston to close out the week, though that is the first leg of a back-to-back. It’s unclear which leg Tatum will play in, though he could play in both.

Boston was without Jaylen Brown for this game and is set to be without him again to close out the week on Sunday in Portland. That means that Pritchard should once again see some extra minutes. His numbers weren’t eye-popping, but he has scored in double figures in four straight games. Pritchard has certainly gone through some cold stretches this season, but when he starts to heat up, it usually lasts for a few games. He’ll look to add more buckets and three-pointers on Sunday, which is the first night of a back-to-back for Boston.

Porzingis has been on a tear since returning from an eight-game absence. Porzingis has averaged 25.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 three-pointers while shooting 61.4 percent from the floor across his last three games. On Friday, he only needed 25 minutes to reach 27 points, and he scored 21 of his points in just the first half. He’s been on a hot streak, but with a back-to-back coming up on Sunday and Monday, he could miss one of those games.

Brown has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right knee. He was already ruled out against the Jazz on Friday, and he will remain out against Portland on Sunday. Russell shrugged off a slow start to the game and ended up scoring at least 20 points for the second time since the All-Star break. It was still an inefficient shooting night, but that isn’t new for him. He has shot below 40 percent from the floor in five straight games and has shot 39.5 percent from the floor this season, which is a steep drop from his 45.6 percent shooting last year. Russell is still capable of being a strong fantasy asset, but he has had quite a few poor performances recently and has also missed quite a few games.

Williams fell one point shy of tying his season-high, which he set back in November. However, he was able to set a new career-high for three-pointers made despite the loss. The 23-year-old has hit 13 three-pointers across his last three appearances and has provided top-75 value nine-cat leagues over the past two weeks. The former lottery pick has had a solid first season in Brooklyn and should continue to play a significant role for them over the final few weeks of the season.

Watford was able to contribute solid value off the bench across his 27 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Pacers. He led the reserves in scoring and had at least 10 points for a third-straight game. However, his night came to an end with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter after he got into a heated scuffle with some Pacers players that ended with coaches prying players away. The altercation was physical enough that Watford has a chance to be suspended, but that isn’t a guarantee. He also isn’t a player to roster in most formats, but as the season winds down, he may continue to see his role expand.

It’s a new (old) listing for Brown, who missed Tuesday’s game with back spasms. Brown’s knee was the main injury listing he had prior to leaving Saturday’s game with back spasms, suggesting that perhaps he’s over that. Sam Hauser will likely take on a bigger role in the rotation against the Jazz and be a worthy candidate to stream on Friday. The Celtics will probably continue to manage Brown down the stretch to get him ready for the playoffs.

While Boston’s starting backcourt of Holiday and Derrick White recorded solid stat lines, category league managers took a beating in the field goal percentage department. Holiday shot 5-of-14 from the field, while White (18/5/4/0/1 with three three-pointers) was even worse, shooting 6-of-19. However, Holiday has been a seventh-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, while White is ranked within the top 20 according to Basketball Monster. They’ll look to clean up the shooting percentage on Friday when the Celtics visit the Jazz.

With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown out for Tuesday’s game, Hauser and Al Horford were part of the starting lineup. Neither stood out against the Nets, but the few who streamed the former did receive solid production on the glass. Hauser’s seven rebounds were the most in a game for him since February 12. As for Horford, he finished with four points, five rebounds, six assists and one three-pointer in 31 minutes. Porzingis was excellent on both ends of the floor Tuesday night, recording a complete stat line to pick up the slack for absent stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. This was his fourth double-double of the season with at least 20 points, and he’s recorded at least three blocked shots in six games. The concern for fantasy managers is Porzingis’ availability, not his productivity. While Boston has two more games during Week 20, the second is part of a Sunday/Monday back-to-back.

On most nights when the Celtics are shorthanded, Payton Pritchard is the reserve who steps up. It was Scheierman’s turn on Tuesday, as he recorded new career highs in points (20), field goals (seven) and three-pointers (six) against the Nets. And the first-round pick only required 16 minutes to do it. Pritchard (10/4/2 with three three-pointers) also hit double-figures in the win, but Scheierman was the star for the Celtics. While there could come a point down the stretch when the Celtics give the rookie more opportunities as the veterans prepare for the postseason, that isn’t guaranteed. There’s no need to add Scheierman in the aftermath of Tuesday’s performance.

While Johnson’s fantasy ranking has been low for most of the season, the main culprit has been his field goal percentage. Shooting 40 percent from the field, he has been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break. However, Johnson is ranked just outside the top 100 for those willing to punt that category. He’s one of the Nets who should not be at risk of getting shut down before the regular season ends, which is why Johnson is rostered in 29 percent of Yahoo! leagues.

Russell scored a team-high 18 points on Tuesday, but the fact that he struggled from the field is unsurprising, given the opposition. Pestered by Derrick White or Jrue Holiday for most of the night, the Nets point guard shot 6-of-18 from the field. The good news for fantasy managers, especially those in category leagues, is that he only committed two turnovers and finished with a solid assist-to-turnover ratio. Russell has played 29 minutes in three of his last five outings, enough time to provide solid value when he’s on the court.

Saturday’s game was the first for Brooklyn since it was announced that Cam Thomas (hamstring) will not play again this season. As was the case when Thomas missed close to two months with another hamstring injury, Johnson was inserted into the starting lineup. And Saturday was an excellent night to have him rostered, as Keon shot the ball efficiently and finished one blocked shot away from a complete stat line.
