With Cade Cunningham (hip) ruled out less than an hour before tipoff, Jenkins was called on to make his first start in 14 appearances as an NBA player. With Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart among the seven Pistons ruled out for Wednesday’s game, Reed made his first start since the 2023-24 campaign. And “BBall Paul” made up for lost time, finishing two points and one rebound shy of his career-highs in those categories. Add in the assists and defensive stats, and this was a great night to stream Reed. Given how shorthanded the Pistons were on Wednesday, Robinson’s shot volume was bound to increase. What did not change was the types of shots he took, with 10 of the veteran wing’s shots coming from beyond the arc. Robinson made seven, establishing season-highs in points and three-pointers. Over his last three games, he’s shot 14-of-28 from distance, and Robinson has made at least three triples in six of his last seven. Robinson has made multiple three-pointers in eight of his ten games this season, with Sunday’s tally of four matching his previous high. After logging 27 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Pistons, Powell played 23 on Sunday and produced his best offensive showing of the season. Powell, who entered Sunday 0-of-3 from deep, made all three of his attempts against the Knicks. He isn’t a player who should be rostered in fantasy leagues right now. In the two-plus games the Nets have played since losing Cam Thomas to a hamstring injury on November 5, Porter has tallied 32, 28 and 25 points. And while the shot attempts have increased, MPJ has shot 47 percent or better in each of those outings. Whether he can continue to shoot at the clip or not, Porter is in a spot where he can put up massive individual numbers. While Claxton did not record his second double-double in as many games, he had his most productive all-around performance on Sunday.
