Absent from the initial injury report released by the Nets, Porter is considered probable to play on Friday. When MPJ missed Brooklyn’s first two games of 2026, rookie Danny Wolf was moved into the starting lineup. That could be the case if Porter’s status is downgraded on Friday.

Eason got up a lot of shots on Wednesday, but not a lot of them fell. His biggest near-make came in the closing moments of the game as he almost successfully tapped in a missed Kevin Durant jump shot at the buzzer to give the Rockets the win. Instead, the ball was still in his hand as the horn sounded, and the shot was waived off. Eason still had good fantasy production on the evening, thanks to his team-high and season-high in rebounds. Houston will face Portland again on Friday.

Thompson was one of the Rockets’ most productive offensive performers on Wednesday. On efficient 50-percent shooting, the former fourth-overall pick notched his 14th 20-point game of the season, and fourth in the past five games. He made his usual contributions as a passer, but also hit the glass hard to finish as one of three Houston starters to collect double-digit rebounds. Thompson’s work on the defense end also added to his overall production on the night, leading to a nice night as far as fantasy basketball goes.

On the heels of a game-winning shot against his former employer, the Suns, Durant delivered a fantastic scoring performance on Wednesday in the one-point loss. He tied a season-high in points, despite making just two three-pointers on the night. And with just one stock and no assists, there wasn’t much to the two-time Finals MVP’s final stat line. His scoring was the story in this game.

Clowney’s final stat line was an interesting one. Inefficient shooting, especially from beyond the arc, where he shot 0-of-5, kept him from putting many points on the board. Yet, he tied season-highs in assists and steals along the way to provide some solid fantasy production. His start to 2026 has been a rough one from a three-point shooting standpoint — Clowney is now without a three-pointer in three of the four games he’s appeared in. Once he regains his rhythm, the scoring production should return.

Demin stole the show late with a pair of three-pointers, including one that looked to be the go-ahead basket in overtime before Paolo Banchero delivered the actual game-winning triple just moments later. Demin also led his team in assists and has now scored in double figures in eight of his last nine appearances. As the rookie gets more games under his belt, he continues to impresss. He could be someone worth monitoring in fantasy leagues as the season goes on.

After being stuck in the twenties for six straight games, Porter Jr. utilized eight three-pointers to help him land his first 30-point game in nearly a month. He was efficient inside the arc as well and capitalized on his only couple of free-throw attempts, while also coming up big on the defensive end with a handful of steals. Porter Jr. continues to produce at a high level from a fantasy basketball standpoint in his first season with the Nets, and will look to keep things rolling against the Clippers on Friday.

Adams returned from an ankle injury and started in place of Alperen Sengun (ankle) against the Suns on Monday. The 32-year-old center had eight points and 11 rebounds in 31 minutes. With the score tied at 97 and the clock winding down, Durant hit a game-winning three-pointer from the right wing with less than one second left in regulation. It was the kind of clutch shot that Durant has become known for over the course of his career, which will one day be enshrined in the Hall of Fame. He’s still a top fantasy player, providing top-15 per game value over the last two weeks. The Rockets will be back on the floor Wednesday against the Trail Blazers.

Porter came back to haunt his former club by knocking down 8-of-17 shots, including 2-of-6 from beyond the arc, to record his seventh double-double of the season. The 27-year-old playmaking forward didn’t appear impacted at all by a two-game absence earlier this week due to illness. He’s been a revelation in his Brooklyn debut, delivering top-25 overall fantasy value, averaging 25.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.2 blocks through 27 games. The Nets have just three games on tap next week when they host the Magic and Clippers before a road tilt against the Grizzlies.

Clowney played a key role on both ends of the floor for Brooklyn in this one as he poured in eight and 11 points in the first and third quarters, respectively, to help them snap a three-game losing streak. The 21-year-old playmaking forward had little trouble exploiting Denver’s lack of interior defenders and also went 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. He’s been too hit-or-miss to emerge as a reliable fantasy option in shallow leagues, but he’s shown some flashes of big-time all-around upside.

Surprisingly, Thompson has only recorded six double-doubles this season, with Saturday’s being his first since December 15. If Alperen Şengün has to miss time after exiting Saturday’s game with a sprained right ankle, Thompson could receive a boost in the assist category. Over the past two weeks, he has offered top-20 per-game value in eight-cat formats. The Rockets play four games in Week 12.

Saturday’s double-double was Eason’s first since moving into the Rockets’ starting lineup, and he’s capable of producing those stat lines consistently. Depending on the diagnosis for Alperen Şengün, who sprained his ankle during the first quarter of Saturday’s defeat, there may be a greater need for what Eason brings to the table, especially as a rebounder. He’s still rostered in 33 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which is too low for Eason. He should be a popular option for those competing in category leagues going into Week 12.

With Houston losing Alperen Şengün to a sprained right ankle just over a minute into Saturday’s game, Durant was needed to do even more offensively.
