Sunday’s game is the first of two in as many days for the Nets, so Porter getting a night off for rest is unsurprising. Black had back-to-back games with five and six points entering play Friday. With Jalen Suggs (knee) still out, Black is a must-have player. His fantasy managers can breathe easy after Friday’s effort as Black managed to tally 21 points in the loss. The 21-year-old point guard averaged 18.9 points per game in December so it’s a good sign to see him get back to that level of scoring.

Bane had a bit of an uncharacteristic game Friday against the 76ers. The 27-year-old shooting guard failed to make a three-pointer, something he hadn’t done in his last six games. Bane led the Magic in field goal attempts and points with Franz Wagner out, but it wasn’t enough to even keep the Magic in the game late in the fourth quarter. He’s provided eighth-round per game value this season. The Magic close out the week against the Pelicans on Sunday.

Already without Jalen Suggs and Franz Wagner, the Magic won’t have Tristan da Silva for Friday’s game, either. The absences open up a spot in the starting lineup, with Penda receiving the nod. Clowney’s final stat line was an interesting one. Inefficient shooting, especially from beyond the arc, where he shot 0-of-5, kept him from putting many points on the board. Yet, he tied season-highs in assists and steals along the way to provide some solid fantasy production. His start to 2026 has been a rough one from a three-point shooting standpoint — Clowney is now without a three-pointer in three of the four games he’s appeared in. Once he regains his rhythm, the scoring production should return.

Demin stole the show late with a pair of three-pointers, including one that looked to be the go-ahead basket in overtime before Paolo Banchero delivered the actual game-winning triple just moments later. After being stuck in the twenties for six straight games, Porter Jr. utilized eight three-pointers to help him land his first 30-point game in nearly a month. He was efficient inside the arc as well and capitalized on his only couple of free-throw attempts, while also coming up big on the defensive end with a handful of steals. Carter Jr. was one of only two Orlando players to finish with 20 or more points on the evening. None of the big man’s scoring production came from the three-point line versus Brooklyn, which marks the second consecutive game that he’s gone without a three-pointer. He also wasn’t involved much as a rebounder or passer, and his two stocks weren’t anything fantasy managers should be excited about. Still, his scoring was important to his team’s success tonight. It was a rough night for the first-year Magic guard, who tallied as many turnovers as he did made field goals on Wednesday. His minimal contributions as a passer and rebounder were also notable on a night in which he tallied 35 minutes in an overtime game. Bane has had his share of ups and downs throughout the season, but remains more than capable of putting up big numbers on the offensive end of the floor. Banchero bounced back on Wednesday from a forgettable Tuesday against the Wizards to help the Magic edge out the Nets in overtime. He notched a team-high in points and was one of several Magic players to secure double-digit rebounds. The numbers equated to the former first-overall pick’s second double-double of the month and 11th of the season. Banchero did struggle with his ball security, committing nine turnovers and ultimately costing himself some fantasy basketball production. Richardson and the other Magic reserves were the reason why Orlando pulled to within two points with just over five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Clowney played a key role on both ends of the floor for Brooklyn in this one as he poured in eight and 11 points in the first and third quarters, respectively, to help them snap a three-game losing streak.
