Embiid had 12 points and six rebounds in the loss to the Warriors on Thursday. It was his first game since November 30 and the 31-year-old center will sit out again Friday against the Bucks for injury recovery purposes. Andre Drummond and Adem Bona will handle the center duties in Embiid’s absence.

Over his last five games, Wolf has averaged 12.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.2 three-pointers per game. It goes without saying that these are solid numbers for a rookie coming off the bench behind two young bigs in Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney. However, the lackluster defensive production makes Wolf difficult to trust this early in the season. While the recent run has been encouraging, he has not reached the point where he should be considered in most redraft leagues. That’s likely to change later this season, especially with the Nets dropping to 1-10 at home on Thursday.

With Terance Mann limited to 18 minutes after a two-game absence and the hard fall he took during the second half of Thursday’s game, there was more room for Williams to contribute despite coming off the bench. The former lottery pick finished with his second 20-point game of the season and first since October 24. However, while Thursday was good, Williams’ season-long fantasy value remains subpar. The only reason to consider adding him ahead of Sunday’s game against the Pelicans would be if Mann and Michael Porter Jr. can’t play.

BKN • Forward-Center • #21

While his season-long fantasy value remains relatively low, now would be a good time to hop onto the Clowney bandwagon if he’s sitting on your league’s waiver wire. Over the past two weeks, the Nets forward/center has provided fourth-round value in eight-cat formats, and he’s scored at least 16 points in seven of his last eight games. Clowney is rostered in 30 percent of Yahoo! leagues, so he’s certainly available in some 12-team formats. Now would be a good time to change that.

With Joel Embiid under a minutes restriction and Paul George unavailable, Maxey was once again left to shoulder the offensive workload on Thursday. He had an excellent night, marking the ninth game this season in which he’s scored at least 35 points. And Maxey’s lone blocked shot was huge, as his rejection of a De’Anthony Melton shot attempt as time expired preserved the one-point victory. While many expected Maxey to provide excellent fantasy value this season, he has exceeded his Yahoo! ADP, providing top-5 value in eight-cat formats.

Edgecombe wasn’t the most impactful scorer on Thursday, but he did make the game’s biggest shot. His putback of a Tyrese Maxey fadeaway with nine-tenths of a second remaining gave Philadelphia the 99-98 victory, with the 76ers avoiding losing a game they led by at least 20 points after one quarter for the first time in franchise history. Despite averaging just 8.7 points per game, Edgecombe has been close to a top-50 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. His production in the rebound, assist and steal categories has been a factor, as it was against the Warriors.

Thursday’s game was Embiid’s first since November 30, so the minutes restriction was unsurprising. Unfortunately for those who have him rostered, the 7-footer missed all six of his three-point attempts. And until Embiid can get in a solid run of games, managers will have to deal with a lack of sharpness. Don’t expect to see him on the court when the 76ers visit the Bucks on Friday, meaning enhanced roles for Andre Drummond and Adem Bona.

Oubre has been out since November 14, recovering from a sprained LCL in his left knee. At the time, it was announced that he would be out for at least two weeks, but the timeline will be closer to four at a minimum. In addition to next week’s evaluation, there will likely be a ramp-up period for Oubre once he’s cleared for contact. His absence has enhanced the fantasy values of Quentin Grimes and Jared McCain, with the former having moved into the starting lineup.

Embiid, who was sidelined for injury management reasons, will be available to play against the Warriors. Given the time missed and the fact that both knees have been problematic, his minutes will be restricted. That said, Embiid doesn’t need to log 33-35 minutes to provide solid fantasy value. Andre Drummond has a lower fantasy ceiling than he does when starting, but managers should hold onto him because of Embiid’s injury history.

Mann, who has missed Brooklyn’s last two games, should return to his usual place in the starting lineup. The injury is listed as “injury management,” so it’s likely just Porter Jr. getting a day of maintenance after playing on two of the last three nights. George had been listed as questionable, but will now miss this game. During George’s last absence, Justin Edwards started and contributed 13 points in 22 minutes. Edwards may start again, but with Quentin Grimes (calf) after a one-game absence, he will likely take on more of George’s minutes.

Walker has played a surprisingly large role for a player on a two-way contract, but that hasn’t led to much production in the box score. However, that didn’t hold true in this game, as he was able to record a double-double for the first time this season. Walker holds some value in dynasty formats, but he shouldn’t be relied on in redraft leagues, barring multiple injuries to forward currently in front of him on the depth chart.

Drummond returned to the starting lineup with Joel Embiid (knee) sidelined, and he immediately returned to dominating the glass. He needed just 17 minutes to record his eighth double-double of the year. Maxey didn’t need long to dominate the lowly Wizards. His 29 minutes were the fewest he has played in a game this season, and he was able to lead both teams in scoring to help the 76ers rebound after a double-overtime loss on Sunday. Wolf may have a knack for dunking on people. Two nights removed from putting Milwaukee’s Kyle Kuzma on a poster as part of a 22-point night, the rookie did the same to Charlotte’s Miles Bridges. Wolf’s overall production against the Hornets didn’t move the needle much in fantasy basketball, but he’s hit double figures in minutes in three straight games. Claxton recorded a complete stat line on Monday, and the rebounding production was especially encouraging. After grabbing 11 rebounds in three consecutive games, the Nets center entered Monday having totaled 14 rebounds over his last three. After ripping off a streak of eight straight games in double figures, Clowney put up a dud in Saturday’s loss to the Bucks. He got back on track on Monday, shooting 66.7 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc in Brooklyn’s win over the Hornets. After recording three 30-point games last season with the Nuggets, Porter dropped his sixth of his first season with the Nets on Monday. The 35 points were a season-high for the forward, who was efficient and only lacked a blocked shot on his stat line. While there may be some concern about a late-season shutdown due to the Nets’ prioritization of the 2026 draft class, we haven’t reached that point yet. Maxey’s late-game heroics helped force the first overtime, but he also faltered late, which resulted in a second overtime. He hit a three-pointer off an offensive rebound late in the fourth quarter to tie the game, but with a chance to seal the win in overtime, he missed two free throws.
