Barrett and Agbaji will be available after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Bulls. The former will be in the starting lineup, likely pushing Jamison Battle to the bench. Barnes is dealing with a finger joint contusion while Rhoden has a finger joint sprain. Barnes is the bigger loss if he’s out as Rhoden hasn’t been a consistent part of the Raptors’ rotation. It has been a quiet rookie season for Walter, but he has taken advantage of his opportunity recently and provided a glimmer of hope for the future. He has scored in double figures in each of his last seven appearances and has averaged 17 points, six rebounds, four assists, two steals and four triples over Toronto’s last two games. He’ll continue to play a significant role for the rest of the season, and while it won’t guarantee him a starting job next season, he could be a solid rotation piece for them in year two.

Robinson has been in and out of the starting unit recently, and he came off the bench on Tuesday with Jakob Poeltl back after sitting out on Sunday. Poeltl will likely be back out against Portland on Thursday, which means Robinson should be back in the starting unit. Johnson has been playing a significant role since December, but Monday’s performance was one of his best in a while. This was his highest-scoring night since he had 25 points on February 5, and it was only his third game with at least 20 points in March. The 23-year-old has shown some flashes of upside throughout the season, and he should continue to play a significant role for the rest of this season. However, it remains to be seen if he has the potential to be more than the beneficiary of a tanking team in Brooklyn.

He has averaged 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and three triples over Brooklyn’s last two games, which have both been wins. Hours after signing a two-year contract, Timme made his Nets debut against the Clippers. Noah Clowney and Day’Ron Sharpe being out meant rotation minutes for the former Gonzaga standout, and he recorded a double-double. Friday night was rough for Johnson and those who have him rostered. He provided limited production and only played for 20 minutes. While Johnson’s playing time occasionally taking a hit is unsurprising since the Nets aim to improve their draft lottery odds, 20 minutes is extreme for a player of his caliber. No Nets players did much offensively in the 132-100 defeat, with Johnson leading the way in scoring. Percentages have long been an issue for Johnson, which has lowered his fantasy ceiling. The former Gonzaga star went undrafted in 2023 and has been working hard in the G League to earn a spot in the NBA. After being named G League Player of the Week, Timme earned a standard contract with Brooklyn. It will be a good opportunity for him over the final couple weeks of the regular season, but it’s likely an indication of how the Nets want the rest of the season to play out. Barnes had a tough night shooting-wise, but he has connected on 47 percent of his shots over the past two weeks. That has been an encouraging development for a player shooting 44.5 percent for the season. Something that may be helping is the decrease in three-point attempts. Barnes has been averaging three attempts per game since the All-Star break, a drop of nearly two attempts per game compared to his three-point frequency before. He isn’t a good perimeter shooter, and taking fewer shots from that range may boost his overall numbers.
