After only making two shots during the first three periods of Sunday’s game, Bridges made five in the fourth. That flurry salvaged what was an underwhelming effort from the Hornets forward, whose 13 rebounds were one shy of his season-high. Smith started a game for the first time since March 8, as the Hornets were without Josh Green. The second-year guard, who struggled as a starter earlier this season, took advantage of his opportunity on Sunday. Smith has reached double figures in four straight and five of his last six appearances. While this hasn’t done much for his fantasy value, streaming Smith in deep leagues is something fantasy managers can consider doing. That was not the case at the beginning of March.

As has been the case many times this season, Ball recorded a solid assist number but struggled with inefficiency. Five turnovers compounded the impact of Ball’s poor shooting, and he’s been responsible for four or more in four of his last six appearances. Over the past two weeks, he has been a top-50 player in eight-cat formats. While that isn’t “bad” value, fantasy managers likely had to invest a much higher pick on Ball than he has returned. The Hornets play three games during Week 21, starting with the Magic on Tuesday.

Niang had an excellent weekend off the bench. After scoring 23 points in Saturday’s win over the Warriors, he tallied 20 more against the 76ers. However, Niang remains a player who does not need to be rostered in most leagues. Ranked outside the top 200 in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks, the Hawks forward is rostered in just seven percent of Yahoo! leagues. Caris LeVert (7/3/7/1/1 with one three-pointer) remains the superior option among Hawks reserves.

Another game and another points/assists double-double for Young, who has recorded four in his last six appearances. Over the past two weeks, the Hawks point guard has provided top-10 value in eight-cat formats. The Hawks play three games during Week 21, starting with the Rockets on Tuesday.

While the production outside of points and three-pointers was limited, Risacher continues to make strides as a scorer. In the steals category, Daniels’ 2024-25 season will go down in league history once it’s completed. He’s had at least three pilfers in 38 of the 65 games he has appeared in this season. While Jaren Jackson Jr. and Evan Mobley certainly deserve the praise they have received, Daniels’ name may not come up enough regarding the NBA Defensive Player of the Year award. After scoring 18 points on 6-of-23 shooting in the three games prior, Niang was outstanding on Saturday. The 23 points are the most he’s scored in a game since March 6, and this was his first game with at least five three-pointers since February 23. Niang and Caris LeVert (14/2/6 with one three-pointer) have boosted their values since joining the Hawks at the trade deadline, with the latter being the superior deep-league asset. Bridges was able to play in both legs of Charlotte’s back-to-back after missing Tuesday’s game against Atlanta. He was better as a scorer on Friday than he was on Thursday, and he was still able to contribute some value in other categories. Bridges was given a rest night on Tuesday against Atlanta, but he was listed as probable with an illness for this game, so perhaps that was the issue on Tuesday.
