Tyson wasn’t able to stay as hot as he was on Friday, when he scored a career-high 39 points. However, he was able to remain a productive option for fantasy managers. With Darius Garland set to miss at least a few more games with a toe sprain, Tyson’s spot in the starting unit feels safe. He has been a reliable producer for most of the season, and that should continue moving forward, with a trip to Charlotte on Wednesday up next on the schedule.

Hunter followed up a poor two-game stretch with two solid performances in consecutive games against the 76ers. While he was able to score in double figures once again, it came inefficiently. Both the poor shooting and turnovers limited the impact that his rebounds and free throws would have made. Hunter has never been a great option in category leagues, and now that he is coming off the bench, his upside is limited. Still, he is better than what he put together in this game and should respond against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Mitchell was the leading scorer for Cleveland and was one of five Cavs to score in double figures. However, it wasn’t an efficient shooting night, and steals aside, he didn’t contribute much value for fantasy managers. It was a tough matchup, but he also struggled against the 76ers on Friday, where he was held to 13 points on 4-of-13 shooting. After a rough stretch, he’ll look to get back on track against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Miller handled the bulk of the scoring duties for the Hornets on the second night of a back-to-back with Miles Bridges, LaMelo Ball and rookie sensation Kon Knueppel taking a back seat in a one-sided affair. The 23-year-old forward drained 6-of-10 shots, including 4-of-4 from three-point range, to score 18 of his 23 points by halftime. He was able to take off most of the final quarter after Charlotte built up a 33-point advantage in the final stanza. The Hornets have a three-game week coming up that features matchups against the Cavaliers, Magic and Wizards.

Kalkbrenner had no trouble exploiting Denver’s extreme lack of interior defense by shooting 80 percent from the floor in limited minutes off the bench as he continues to work his way back from a left elbow sprain. The 24-year-old rookie center continues to split time with Moussa Diabate, who has been battling lingering hip and hamstring issues, and finished with four points and nine boards in 25 minutes during this one.

After sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Warriors, Diabaté will start in Denver, pushing Ryan Kalkbrenner to the bench. Miller came out of the gate hot and finished 6-of-11 from three-point range, falling just short of reaching the 30-point mark for the third time this season. The issue for Charlotte in this one was one the defensive end of the floor as they allowed Golden State to pile up 136 points on 55 percent (51-of-93) shooting, including 44 percent (23-of-52) from beyond the arc. Mitchell didn’t do as much scoring as he typically does, but he made up for it with production in other categories. He nearly finished with a triple-double despite an inefficient night. This came after seven straight games with at least 20 points, and he scored at least 30 points in five of those. With Darius Garland (toe) sidelined, Porter slid into the starting unit, and while he didn’t do much scoring, he was able to set up plenty of offense as a playmaker. Porter matched his career high for dimes in the win, which was a nice boost for fantasy managers that streamed him in. If Garland ends up missing an extended period of time, Porter should be able to maintain value as a streamer, especially for teams that don’t need more points.

Cleveland was missing multiple rotation players for this game, and other starters were struggling, which made this outing from Tyson so vital. He set a new career high for scoring and had the game-winning assist to Evan Mobley. Tyson also set a career high for three-pointers. He has had an excellent second season in the NBA and has benefited from a multitude of injuries on the perimeter. The Cavs haven’t had as much success as they did last season, which can mostly be attributed to all the games that rotation players have missed. However, Tyson has blossomed and should be an important piece for them for the rest of the season and beyond.

Porter will fill Darius Garland’s spot in the starting lineup as he is sidelined with the same toe injury that has given him trouble all season. Porter has been able to stuff the stat sheet when he’s gotten the opportunity to play big minutes this year. Miller was one of several Hornets players to have a productive night on the offensive end against the Lakers. Bridges did a bit of everything in the Hornets’ victory, making contributions as a scorer, rebounder and facilitator on Thursday. The veteran forward had a great impact from beyond the arc, where he combined for more makes against the Lakers than he had total over the previous two games. His three-point outburst was part of a night in which the Hornets amassed 20 three-pointers as a team to put the Lakers’ defense in a tough spot. Bridges will have a chance to put together another strong stat line against the Warriors on Saturday.

Ball’s strong scoring performance on Thursday marked the second time in the past four games that he’s recorded at least 30 points, and the second time over the past three games he’s notched 25 or more points. The three-point shot was the focal point again on Thursday, as he set a new season-high in makes. Ball also reached double figures in assists to land his sixth double-double of the season, but the recent scoring uptick has been the real story for Ball, who began 2026 with four straight games under 20 points. He continues to play well and has brought strong fantasy production in the process.

Mitchell put on a show on Wednesday night, leading the Cavaliers to one of their best wins of the season after Monday’s terrible loss to the Jazz. And Cleveland may need even more from him in the immediate future, as Darius Garland left during the third quarter with a right foot injury. Mitchell has scored 30 points or more in five of his last seven games, and the all-around stat line on Wednesday was elite.

To say Hunter needed a night like Wednesday would be an understatement. In Cleveland’s two previous games, he totaled six points on 2-of-10 shooting from the field. Returning home did some good for the Philadelphia native, as Hunter’s 17 points were the most he’s scored in a game since December 22. With Sam Merrill (hand) and Darius Garland (foot) exiting Wednesday’s game due to injury, Hunter may have a slightly higher fantasy ceiling in the short term. What’s holding him back is the lack of defensive production.

After a modest effort in Monday’s loss to the Jazz, Mobley was more impactful, especially defensively, on Wednesday. He recorded four blocked shots, the sixth time this season he’s either met or exceeded that number. The double-double was Mobley’s first in six games and 15th of the season, and he’s dished out 14 assists over his last two games. He’ll look to replicate Wednesday’s performance when the Cavaliers face the 76ers again on Friday.

Merrill suffered a right hand injury during Wednesday’s game. While the Cavaliers announced at halftime that he was questionable to return, the sharpshooter never did. Garland injured his right foot during the third quarter of Wednesday’s game and has been ruled out for the rest of the night. Diabaté has been consistently productive for the Hornets over the past month, especially while Ryan Kalkbrenner was out with an elbow injury. A sore right hip could keep Diabaté out of Thursday’s game, which would likely result in Kalkbrenner returning to the starting lineup. There would also be more opportunities for Grant Williams, but his playing time may not increase much, since he’s returning from a torn ACL.
