Payton is coming off one of his best performances of the season, scoring 14 points in 15 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Clippers. He’s also dealing with a sprained left ankle and is questionable for Tuesday’s game. Stephen Curry fouled out with less than a minute left, which meant that the game-winning shot responsibility fell to Butler. He came up short, but he still had a productive stat line in the loss. Butler has been a reliable option for the Warriors this year, and he has been available, which has been an issue for him in the past. As long as that doesn’t change, he’ll continue to be an excellent value at his Yahoo! ADP of 50.3.

Unfortunately, Curry’s typical late-game heroics were cut short. Right after he hit back-to-back three-pointers, Curry committed his sixth foul, which sent him to the sidelines to watch the final 43 seconds of the game. He was still able to lead the Warriors in scoring and have a productive night, but he wasn’t able to get his team the win. It was a subpar shooting night, but he hit the big shots when they mattered. Next up on the schedule for the Warriors is a matchup with the Bucks on Wednesday.

Knueppel continues to play outstanding basketball as a 20-year-old rookie. He had 23 points, five rebounds, five assists and five threes against the Thunder. Over his last four games he’s averaging 21.8 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field, 50 percent from behind the three-point line and 81 percent from the three-point line. In a game against the defending champion Thunder, Miller was the best player on the floor in this one. The 23-year-old small forward dropped 28 points and made seven threes in the win. Back in the Warriors’ lineup after a one-game absence, Butler played 34 minutes against the Jazz.
