Knueppel played at least 40 minutes, had at least 28 points and made at least four three-pointers for the second time in his last four games. The 20-year-old shooting guard is off to a tremendous start to his career, certainly putting himself in the Rookie of the Year race. Brandon Miller’s impending return could cut into Knueppel’s usage a little bit, but not a significant amount.

Charania’s report indicates it’s a low-grade left groin strain for Giannis, and if he doesn’t return in November, he should be back quickly to start December. That means at least three absences for Giannis, though he could be out seven games or more, depending on how he recovers. Antetokounmpo has had one of the highest usage rates of his career this year, so there will be plenty of shots to go around. Recently, Kyle Kuzma (24 percent rostered in Yahoo! leagues) replaced Gary Trent Jr. (seven percent) in the starting lineup, but GTJ could make a return to the opening unit with Antetokounmpo out. Jericho Sims started the second half of Monday’s game against the Cavaliers, but that was likely a matchup-based decision against Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Bobby Portis (25 percent) is another candidate to enter the starting lineup, though he has been disappointing this year. Of course, Ryan Rollins, who is enjoying a breakout season for the Bucks, had his two best games of the year when Giannis missed games earlier this year. Everyone on the Bucks will seen a bump in usage and minutes until Antetokounmpo returns.

Knueppel continues to play well with Brandon Miller (shoulder) out of the lineup. The 20-year-old rookie shooting guard had at least 24 points and four three-pointers for the second time in his last three games. Knueppel could lose minutes to Miller once he returns, but he’s played well enough to start his career that the Hornets will continue to give him opportunities.

Rollins picked up the slack from an offensive standpoint in the second half following superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s exit in the late stages of the second quarter with a left groin strain. However, Milwaukee was unable to avoid their third loss in their last four games. He shot 50 percent from downtown, hitting five of 10 treys and hoisted a team-leading 22 shots in this one. We’re anticipating he’ll get a couple additional looks per-game if Giannis winds up missing time. The Bucks have a couple days off to regroup before facing off against the 76ers on Thursday evening.

Antetokounmpo did his part from a scoring standpoint on the second night of a back-to-back for Milwaukee, but he got little help from his supporting cast in the early stages of this one as they ultimately trailed by 29 points at halftime. He knocked down six of eight shot attempts in the second half to reach the 30-point plateau for the ninth time in 12 games this season. He’s slightly underperformed this season relative to fantasy managers expectations, averaging 32.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.3 blocks. With Ryan Kalkbrenner back after a one-game absence, Diabaté returned to playing a role off the bench. That didn’t slow Diabaté down; he recorded his second straight double-double and his fifth of the season. Knueppel entered this game on a tear, but the odds were stacked against him in this one. LaMelo Ball sat out the second leg of the back-to-back.
