Friday’s game will be the fourth McBride has missed with a strained groin. As for Payne, he sprained his right ankle during Wednesday’s loss to the Clippers, leaving the Knicks down three point guards, as starter Jalen Brunson (ankle) is also out. That leaves Tyler Kolek and Delon Wright to handle the point guard responsibilities, with the former having tallied 24 assists and one turnover in his last three games. Kolek does not provide much value as a scorer, but managers needing assists should strongly consider streaming him.

Injuries to Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride have thrust Kolek into the rotation. With Cameron Payne not returning after halftime due to a sprained ankle, the rookie started the third quarter against the Clippers. While Kolek shot 0-of-3 from the field and 0-of-2 from the foul line, he dished out seven assists and committed just one turnover. Since entering the rotation, Kolek has accounted for 24 assists and one turnover. If Payne misses time, starting with Friday’s game in Milwaukee, the Knicks will have to rely more on Kolek and Delon Wright (three assists in 12 minutes) than they want to.

With the current state of the Knicks’ point guard position, there will be increased opportunities for the healthy starters to offer more value in the assist category. Bridges dished out nine helpers on Wednesday, the most in a game for him this season. The Knicks wing only committed two turnovers, but a 1-of-5 night from beyond the arc hurt his field goal percentage. Over the past two weeks, Bridges has offered top-50 value in eight-cat formats. His value will likely increase if Cameron Payne joins Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride on the sidelines after exiting Wednesday’s game with a sprained ankle.

Anunoby has flipped a switch offensively, scoring 23 points or more in four straight games. According to Basketball Monster, he’s ranked 13th in nine-cat value over the past two weeks. With Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride out due to injury, Anunoby is one of the Knicks who needs to shoulder more of the offensive workload as the team looks to lock down the three-seed in the East. Thus far, OG has been more productive, and those who have him rostered are reaping the rewards.

Towns has scored 31 points or more in three of his last six outings, with Wednesday’s tally being the highest for him since February 12 against the Hawks. The Knicks center has offered top-20 value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. If anyone was concerned about what the loss of Jalen Brunson would do to Towns’ production, they should be pleased with what they’ve seen from KAT. He and the Knicks will look to get back into the win column when they visit the Bucks on Friday.

Add another point guard to the Knicks’ injury list. Already without Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride, Payne sprained his right ankle during the first quarter of Wednesday’s game. While he would remain in the game then, the veteran point guard could not play after halftime. Tyler Kolek started the second half and may have to fill in as the starter if Payne is unavailable for Friday’s game against the Bucks.

Bridges had a productive night in the points and field-goal percentage categories, but the overall stat line lacked substance. However, over the past two weeks, he has been a fourth-round player in eight-cat formats, averaging 22.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.4 blocks and 2.0 three-pointers per game. Nights like Tuesday, where he puts up many “ones” in key categories, have not been the norm for Bridges recently, which has been good for those who have him rostered.

Hart made history on two fronts Tuesday night. He combined with Karl-Anthony Towns to become the first Knicks teammates to record triple-doubles in the same game. Hart’s triple-double was his ninth of the season, surpassing Walt “Clyde” Frazier for the top spot in franchise history. Regardless of Hart’s feelings on shooting the basketball, he has been an elite fantasy option this season because of his ability to fill a stat sheet. The Knicks wing has provided third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats for the season. Hart will look to build on Tuesday’s performance when the Knicks host the Clippers on Wednesday.

Neither Dallas nor a fourth-quarter bloody nose could stop Anunoby, whose 35 points were the most he’s scored in a game since dropping 40 on the Nuggets in late November. Over the past two weeks, the Knicks wing has been a top-20 player in nine-cat formats, pushing his season-long value into the top 75. Anunoby has scored at least 23 points in three straight and six of his last eight appearances while averaging 2.0 steals and 1.1 blocks during this run.

Towns combined with Josh Hart to make some history on Tuesday, as they became the first Knicks teammates to record triple-doubles in the same game. Over the past two weeks, KAT has provided second-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats. While that may not be on par with his season-long value, Towns isn’t far off, which is notable since the Knicks have been without starting point guard Jalen Brunson (ankle). The Knicks play three more games during Week 21, starting with the Clippers on Wednesday.

After only making two shots during the first three periods of Sunday’s game, Bridges made five in the fourth. That flurry salvaged what was an underwhelming effort from the Hornets forward, whose 13 rebounds were one shy of his season-high. Smith started a game for the first time since March 8, as the Hornets were without Josh Green. The second-year guard, who struggled as a starter earlier this season, took advantage of his opportunity on Sunday. While this hasn’t done much for his fantasy value, streaming Smith in deep leagues is something fantasy managers can consider doing. That was not the case at the beginning of March.

As has been the case many times this season, Ball recorded a solid assist number but struggled with inefficiency. Five turnovers compounded the impact of Ball’s poor shooting, and he’s been responsible for four or more in four of his last six appearances. Over the past two weeks, he has been a top-50 player in eight-cat formats. While that isn’t “bad” value, fantasy managers likely had to invest a much higher pick on Ball than he has returned. Not only did Towns record his second double-double in as many games, but it was also his first with at least 30 points since February 20. While Jalen Brunson’s absence makes KAT’s offensive ability even more critical to the Knicks, the lack of an elite point guard makes the “sledding” a bit more challenging on that end of the floor. After a disappointing two-game road swing in which he shot 10-of-24 from the field in losses to the Spurs and Hornets, Bridges looked rejuvenated on Saturday. Already without Jalen Brunson, the Knicks played Saturday’s game without Miles McBride, who was sidelined by a groin injury. Payne can be erratic, but his energy paid dividends on Saturday. The veteran guard scored 10 points in the first quarter, giving a team with a habit of slow starts a welcome boost. Payne’s streaming value for the Knicks’ four-game Week 21 depends on McBride’s availability. Also seeing time on Saturday was Tyler Kolek, who tallied four points, one rebound, eight assists and three steals in 18 minutes. Bridges was able to play in both legs of Charlotte’s back-to-back after missing Tuesday’s game against Atlanta. He was better as a scorer on Friday than he was on Thursday, and he was still able to contribute some value in other categories. New York has been playing without Jalen Brunson, but Towns has had no issue stepping up and filling the void on offense. This was his seventh-straight game with at least 20 points, though they’ve only won three of those games. Towns will continue to pour in the points, but the Knicks have started to see their lead in the standings shrink. They currently sit just three games ahead of Indiana for the No. 3 seed in the East. After two straight subpar offensive performances, Anunoby got back over the 20-point threshold on Thursday, even if the shooting efficiency still wasn’t there. This was his seventh time scoring at least 20 points in March, and he was still able to contribute his typical defensive production.
