Back in the Knicks’ rotation after a five-game absence, Shamet played 31 minutes without incident on Wednesday. And he had a good night shooting the basketball, making three of five attempts from beyond the arc. With Miles McBride, who did not play on Wednesday, avoiding an injury scare during Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, getting Shamet back will strengthen New York’s perimeter depth ahead of the postseason.

After totaling 35 points in the first three games of the Knicks’ four-game road trip, Anunoby put up 25 in the finale on Wednesday. Add in the rebounds and other categories, and the Knicks’ wing gave fantasy managers an excellent stat line to work with. New York ends its Week 23 with a game against the Bulls on Friday, which could be another big game for Anunoby.

For the first time in a month, Bridges has scored at least 20 points in a game. No Jalen Brunson in the lineup opened things up for the other Knicks, especially those who take a back seat offensively on most nights. In addition to shooting 66.7 percent from the field, Bridges’ three free throws were the most he’s attempted in a game since March 13. In fact, since that win over the Pacers, he totaled four free-throw attempts in the nine games that followed. Regardless of who’s on the court for the Knicks, they need Bridges to be more aggressive on offense.

With Jalen Brunson sitting out Wednesday’s game, more of the Knicks’ offense ran through Towns in Memphis. And he took advantage of the opportunity, recording his first triple-double of the season. While Towns was responsible for seven turnovers, the percentages were excellent. The Knicks end Week 23 with a game against the Bulls on Friday. Given Chicago’s lack of interior depth, fantasy managers will hope for another big night from Towns, minus the turnovers.

Towns’ eight rebounds were just the second time in his last eight games that he’s had less than 10 rebounds. The 30-year-old center bounced back with 22 points after scoring 15 and 13 points in his two previous games. Towns has provided third-round per game value over the last two weeks. Miller got off to a scorching hot start to this game, scoring 16 points in the first quarter without missing a shot. He cooled off after that and wasn’t able to turn it into a huge performance, but it was enough for Charlotte to take a massive lead and not give it back. Sunday’s game was the first for McBride since January 27, as he was returning from sports hernia surgery. During a scramble for a loose ball, the Knicks guard reached for his inner thigh area. While he was able to walk back to the bench without assistance, McBride did so gingerly.
