While he matched his season-high with 11 assists, Brunson had his worst scoring game of the season on Tuesday. The 15 points were a season low, and the Knicks’ point guard had not shot below 30 percent from the field since the season-opening win over Cleveland. Boston did a good job of making Brunson uncomfortable offensively, and his off night was too much to overcome in the end. He’ll look to rebound when the Knicks host the Hornets on Wednesday.

Hart has scored at least 19 points in four straight games, and the overall value has made him one of the best options in fantasy basketball over this period. Over the past week, the Knicks forward has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, cracking the top-5 in the former. After a slow start to the season, in part due to finger and back injuries, Hart has locked into a comfortable role and flourished. He’s rostered in 81 percent of Yahoo! leagues, and that number may increase before the end of Week 7.

While the Knicks’ four-game win streak ended on Tuesday, Towns had another encouraging offensive performance. After scoring 28 points on 8-of-21 shooting in wins over the Hornets and Bucks, KAT has totaled 51 points on 20-of-35 shooting over the last two. He’s providing third-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, performing slightly better in the former. If Towns plays on Wednesday against the Hornets, that could be a big game for him, given Charlotte’s defensive struggles (24th in points allowed and defensive rating).

After scoring five points on 2-of-4 from the field in the first half, Bridges caught fire and nearly helped the Knicks erase a 21-point second-half deficit. He hit seven three-pointers and scored 30 points, finishing with a season-high 35. In fact, this was Bridges’ first game with at least 20 points since November 17 against the Heat. The good news for those who have him rostered is that Bridges’ fantasy value isn’t solely dependent on points. He continues to provide top-10 value in nine-cat formats but should not be considered a “sell-high” option.

There’s some good news on two fronts regarding Ball’s appearance on Charlotte’s most recent injury report. It’s his left (non-shooting) wrist that is currently sore, and the point guard’s ankle is not cited as a reason for the appearance, either. If Ball can’t play on Wednesday, Collin Sexton will return to the starting lineup.

Miller was held out of Monday’s loss to the Nets due to what the Hornets described as left shoulder soreness. Ahead of Wednesday, the injury is now listed as a left shoulder subluxation, which cost him 13 games earlier this season. Miller may be considered day-to-day, but fantasy managers should plan for the possibility of him being out for an extended period. Sion James should continue to start until Miller returns.

On Monday, Salaün saw his first NBA action since November 2, and he took advantage of the opportunity. The second-year forward was one of five Hornets reserves to score at least eight points on a night when three starters (Miles Bridges, Ryan Kalkbrenner and Sion James) combined to score 15. Salaün’s Monday night does not make him a player worth adding, but there may come a point later in the season when the Hornets prioritize his playing time for developmental reasons.

While Ball did not offer much scoring value, the 14 assists were a season-high. For the season, Ball is averaging 8.9 assists per game, more than a full assist more than his 2024-25 average (7.4). However, the inefficient shooting has negatively impacted Ball’s value. He’s shooting a career-low 37.8 percent from the field, and Monday’s 3-of-9 effort doesn’t help. Fantasy managers expect to take a hit in the turnover and field-goal percentage categories, but he’s been a safe bet to make at least 40 percent of his shots in the past. That has not been the case this season.

Over his last two games, Knueppel has shot 8-of-16 from beyond the arc. While fantasy managers in category leagues would like to see some defensive production from the rookie, he has been one of the most productive first-year players in the NBA this season. And over the past two weeks, Knueppel has been a sixth-round player in nine-cat formats. He continues to exceed his Yahoo! Absent from the Hornets’ initial injury report for Monday, Miller will not play due to left shoulder soreness. It’s the same shoulder that sidelined him for nearly a month, and he appeared to aggravate the injury during Saturday’s win over the Raptors. With LaMelo Ball (14/2/5 with one three-pointer) struggling with foul trouble and under a minutes restriction, Sexton gave the Hornets valuable minutes off the bench. Shooting over 50 percent from the field, the veteran guard recorded a complete stat line and helped lead the way as Charlotte outscored Toronto by a 24-17 margin in the fourth quarter to force overtime. After a stellar performance in Friday’s win over the Bulls, Miller played the second game of Charlotte’s home back-to-back. While the poor shooting was problematic, more concerning for fantasy managers was Miller exiting during the third quarter after appearing to aggravate his left shoulder injury. While he did return later in the quarter, the Hornets forward did not seem to be all that comfortable. Bridges wasn’t too thrilled with the performances of either himself or his teammates in Wednesday’s loss to the Knicks. He’s backed up the words that followed that blowout loss with actions, totaling 57 points in wins over the Bulls and Raptors. After totaling 18 points on 7-of-26 shooting in his previous two games, Knueppel got back on track Saturday night. Bridges had one of his better statistical performances of the season in this one. He matched his season high for assists and approached triple-double territory. Bridges is currently averaging career highs in both points and three-pointers, and the volume of triples has helped to offset the worst field goal percentage of his career. That wasn’t an issue in this game, which resulted in one of his best games of the year.

After knocking down five three-pointers and scoring 19 points in Wednesday’s win over the Hornets, McBride duplicated that performance two nights later. A starter in each of the Knicks’ last three games, Deuce has hit double figures in four of his last five. Brunson has consistently tormented the Bucks, averaging 36 points per game since joining the Knicks. Wednesday’s game qualifies as Knueppel’s worst as a pro. The rookie shot 0-of-7 from beyond the arc and made one shot apiece in the first and fourth quarters. Bridges had a rough night at the foul line, and he did not record any defensive stats, either. Miller led the way for the Hornets, shooting 4-of-9 from beyond the arc. The nature of Wednesday’s game, which the Knicks won 129-101, meant he got some extra time on the bench, with the Hornets already eliminated from the NBA Cup. However, his 28 minutes were two more than his total in Saturday’s loss to the Clippers. Fantasy managers can count on Bridges for efficient scoring and complete stat lines, which has been quite the departure from his first season with the Knicks. He didn’t make any three-pointers on Wednesday, but that doesn’t matter much when you record five “stocks” as Mikal did. Despite Mitchell Robinson (five rebounds, one assist, three steals and one blocked shot in 17 minutes) returning from an illness, Knicks head coach Mike Brown decided to stick with Hart and Miles McBride in the starting lineup.
