Facing countryman Victor Wembanyama, Diabaté held his own on Saturday. In addition to recording his third double-double in five games and 13th of the season, the Hornets’ forward/center’s six assists were a season-high. Rostered in 25 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Diabaté appears to have locked down the starting center job. Even with the Hornets playing three games in Week 16, now is the time to add Moussa if he’s sitting on the waiver wire.

While Ball didn’t have the best day shooting the basketball, including a 3-of-9 afternoon from inside the arc, his work as a playmaker helped the Hornets extend their win streak to six games. During the run, the Hornets’ point guard’s assist-to-turnover ratio has been excellent, with Ball recording 47 assists and 17 turnovers. He’s shooting just 36.5 percent from the field over the last two weeks, which has negatively affected Ball’s fantasy value. That said, fantasy managers should be encouraged by the decrease in turnovers.

Having totaled 24 points on 8-of-27 shooting in his three prior appearances, Sexton needed a day like Saturday to snap out of his mini-slump. The Hornets guard was a perfect 5-on-5 from beyond the arc, knocking down two within the first three minutes of the fourth quarter. With Charlotte’s perimeter starters being healthy, Sexton offers limited fantasy value. But he’s capable of providing a spark off the bench, which was the case on Saturday.

Miller and the Hornets have now won six consecutive games, the franchise’s longest win streak since March 2016. And he’s been on a roll recently, scoring at least 20 points in 10 straight games. Another impressive streak for Miller is that he’s made his last 38 free throws. Over the past two weeks, he has provided first-round per-game value in 12-team leagues. The Hornets play three games in Week 16, starting with the Pelicans on Monday.

With Tre Johnson (ankle) sidelined for this game, Carrington returned to the starting unit. He was able to remain productive despite some inefficiencies. This was the eighth straight game that he has hit multiple three-pointers, and he has remained a solid source of assists during this stretch. If Johnson remains out against the Kings on Sunday, Carrington should remain productive as a starter once again.

Not much went right for Washington in this game, but Riley was able to have a productive outing. The rookie set new career highs for assists and steals while also matching his career high for triples. He wasn’t efficient, but the 19-year-old has loads of potential, even though he still has a lot of growing to do. Most of Branham’s points came during garbage time, but he was able to lead Washington in scoring in this game. Bridges has had some rough performances in January, but this was a solid one. He came close to recording a triple-double, and he was able to contribute on the defensive end, which he hasn’t been able to do often this year. Miller’s start to the season wasn’t pretty, but he has flipped the switch recently. This was his ninth straight game with at least 20 points, and he has shot at least 50 percent from the floor in five straight games. Knueppel may not have been able to match his former teammate Cooper Flagg’s 49 points, but his performance was still strong. Coulibaly did not provide much offensively in Thursday’s victory, but category managers will likely be pleased with the rebounds and defensive stats. Despite averaging six points per game, he has been a top-25 player over the past two weeks in eight-cat formats because of the rebounds, steals and blocks. George had another rough shooting night, but he has been able to make up for it by being effective in other categories. It was a subpar shooting night for Sarr, but it was a monster night in every other category for him.
