LeVert is available for the first time since the preseason, giving the Pistons much-needed depth on the perimeter. Daniss Jenkins and Chaz Lanier will likely lose out on some playing time with LeVert available, but this will not impact fantasy basketball. While he isn’t a must-roster player, LeVert is worth watching due to Detroit’s lack of supplementary playmakers.

Thompson is still listed as questionable on the injury report, but his presence at shootaround is encouraging for his availability against Orlando. Thompson is coming off his worst game of the year, though it was by far the worst game for the Pistons as a team. They’ll look to bounce back against the Magic. If Thompson isn’t available, Ron Holland would likely slide into the starting unit.

Neither LeVert nor Sasser has appeared in Detroit’s last three games, with the latter being out since the preseason. Their absences have freed up rotation minutes for Daniss Jenkins and Chaz Lanier, but neither has been productive enough to merit being streamed. That will remain the case if LeVert and Sasser remain out on Wednesday.

Due to the absences of Marcus Sasser and Caris LeVert, Thompson has taken on more playmaking responsibilities when Cade Cunningham is off the floor. Ron Holland may be the player most likely to fill the void if Ausar can’t play, but he offers limited offensive upside.

Coming off the bench, Dosunmu was able to provide a scoring punch for the Bulls, especially in the fourth quarter, where he scored 10 of his 21 points. Dosunmu has been solid off the bench this season, averaging 16.7 points and 3.0 three-pointers in 26.7 minutes per game. He has shot the ball well, which has led to strong production in category leagues despite zero defensive stats to this point. As a reserve, it’s difficult to roster him in standard leagues, especially with Coby White’s return coming soon.

Vucevic fell one assist shy of recording a triple-double, which would’ve made this an even more impressive performance. He had a total of three assists through the first two games and tripled that total in this game alone. He also set a new season-high for rebounds. The Bulls moved to 3-0 with the win, and Vucevic will look to help them move to 4-0 on Wednesday with his former teammate Zach LaVine coming to town.

There weren’t many bright spots for the Pistons in Monday’s loss, but Holland was able to have a decent game. He was one of four Pistons to score 10 points, as he was joined by Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris and Tolu Smith, who came in during garbage time and made the score a bit more respectable. This wasn’t a great game for Holland, but in a game this ugly, it looked a little better than his teammates.

Cunningham had gotten off to a strong start this season, but not much went right for him and the Pistons in Monday’s loss. He was held to a season low in both points and assists in what ended up being a game they’ll want to move on from quickly. While his return would give Detroit additional depth on the wing, it would not significantly impact fantasy basketball. Thompson continues to play big minutes and produce so far this season. The 22-year-old small forward has played at least 33 minutes, scored at least 19 points and had at least nine rebounds in two of the Pistons’ first three games. Cunningham turned the ball over another six times, giving him 14 turnovers in the last two games. Had the Pistons mounted a comeback and won this game, Stewart would’ve been the player of the game for Detroit hands down. The 24-year-old power forward had 20 points on 14 shots, made both of his three-point attempts, grabbed 10 rebounds and had four blocks. All in 25 minutes of action. After a slow first preseason game, Giddey got back on track and put together a nice four-game stretch to give himself some momentum heading into the regular season.
