Reaves’ breakout season continued on Thursday, and he added another milestone to his special year. Though it wasn’t enough for the Lakers to get the win, Reaves set a new career-high for three-pointers made in a game. He only had 12 points in their last game against Houston, but Reaves has now scored at least 30 points in three of the Lakers’ last four games. Over the course of the season, he has provided third-round value in nine-cat leagues and has been a first-rounder of the past two months. He will be an intriguing player heading into fantasy drafts next season.

After missing almost a month of games, it has taken Hachimura some time to get back on track. Thursday’s game was a good step as he had his highest-scoring performance since before the All-Star break. Hachimura has been a solid scoring option for the Lakers this season and has been able to maintain the starting job for most of the year. He doesn’t contribute value in many categories, but the points and efficiency have allowed him to be a decent fantasy option for most of the year.

James has had a few quieter scoring performances recently, but Thursday ended up being his highest-scoring game in nearly a month. It didn’t start out well, but LeBron scored 25 of his 33 points after halftime, though it didn’t end up being enough for the Lakers to get the win. The loss dropped them to fourth in the West, and they hold a one-game lead over Golden State heading into a matchup with the Pelicans on Friday. After that, they’ll wrap up the week in Oklahoma City on Sunday in a tough matchup.

James has been upgraded from probable and will suit up in a battle that will have a large impact on the standings out West. The Lakers are currently in third place and only have a two-game lead over the Warriors, who are fifth in the West and hold just a half-game lead over seeds six, seven and eight. The battle for seeding is going to be an exciting one over the final 10 days of the regular season.

24 hours after being held to 11 points, Vucevic got back on track with a 20-point double-double. Entering Tuesday’s game, Vucevic had gone four straight games without a double-double and had scored less than 15 points in four of his previous five games. Early in the season, this would have been a typical game for Vucevic. However, he has really struggled over the past two months, so this was an encouraging performance for him with the postseason approaching. He’ll look to keep it going against Portland on Friday.

LeBron didn’t have a huge scoring game, though he hit some clutch free throws to put the game away for the Lakers in the final minute. The 40-year-old small forward added two three-pointers. Since returning from a groin injury, James has struggled a bit in shooting 43 percent from the field against 51 percent on the season. But he just adds so much value in other areas that he’s still returning sixth-round value in nine-cat leagues over the last two weeks. There was concern for some fantasy managers that Reaves would be adversely impacted by LeBron James’ return to the Lakers’ lineup after missing two weeks with a strained groin. This type of performance alleviates those worries as Reaves continues to provide excellent fantasy value, even with James back in the mix. Reaves has provided second-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats since LeBron’s return, and he’s scored 30 points or more in consecutive games for the first time this season. With all the attention opposing defenses must devote to James and Luka Doncic, things have opened up for Reaves, and he’s taken advantage. The Lakers play four games during Week 22, starting with the Rockets on Monday.

Over the past two weeks, Doncic has provided top-5 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. While the eight-cat production is unsurprising, Luka’s keeping the turnovers in check has boosted his value in the latter. Averaging 3.8 turnovers per game over the past two weeks, he’s had three or less in four consecutive games, which is his longest streak of the season. If Doncic can continue this trend, fantasy managers looking to close out Week 22 with a league championship will be in an excellent place if they have him rostered.

It was James’ best performance since returning from a groin injury that sidelined him for two weeks. The 40-year-old recorded a complete stat line in Memphis while shooting a shade under 50 percent from the field. A 43.7 percent shooter from the field, James has been a fifth-round player in eight-cat formats over his last five games. That certainly isn’t terrible, but it is a decrease for someone who has ranked just outside the first round in 12-team formats for most of this season. The Lakers play four games during Week 22, starting with the Rockets on Monday. He took advantage of an opportunity to be the hero twice late in the fourth quarter; he extended the Lakers’ lead to five with a pair of free throws and hit a layup with with three second left to give them the lead back. What a night it was for Giddey. Chicago has played the Lakers twice in their last three games, and Giddey has recorded a triple-double in both. He helped them storm back from an 18-point deficit early in the fourth, but he airballed a floater with 12 seconds left, which allowed the Lakers to take a five-point lead after a pair of free throws. However, a well-drawn play from Billy Donovan and a steal from Giddey allowed them to quickly take a lead with a pair of three-pointers. Giddey still had to put together one more magical moment after an Austin Reaves layup, and he was able to drill a shot from halfcourt over LeBron James at the buzzer to give Chicago the win. Giddey ranks in the top ten in nine-cat over the past two months and has truly bounced back after a disastrous final season in Oklahoma City.

James’ streak of 1,252 straight games in double figures was in jeopardy, as he entered the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s game without a made field goal. He made four during the final frame, with the last being a tip-in as time expired to give the Lakers the win.
