Ball last appeared in a game on February 28. Unlike the last two games, when the Bulls initially listed him as questionable, Lonzo is “out” on the injury report for Tuesday. With Coby White ruled out and Josh Giddey questionable, the Bulls could be severely shorthanded regarding on-ball playmakers. Talen Horton-Tucker is the player to watch, as he could figure prominently in the rotation if Giddey does not play.

With Coby White and Kevin Huerter already out, Chicago could be without four starters for Tuesday’s game. Vucevic’s potential absence would impact Zach Collins and Jalen Smith, as both would see their minutes increase. Giddey’s not playing would likely lead to more playing time for Talen Horton-Tucker, who would be worth streaming in deep leagues.

While White’s absence is due to rest, Huerter will not play on Tuesday because of a cervical strain. The absences open up two spaces within the Bulls’ starting lineup, with Patrick Williams, Dalen Terry and Talen Horton-Tucker among the potential replacements. However, in Williams’ case, he has yet to start alongside Matas Buzelis, so that’s unlikely.

While Shead did not have a great afternoon shooting the basketball, he was excellent at distributing it. The first-round pick out of Houston is the seventh rookie and first since Deron Williams to have an eight-game run in which he recorded at least 53 assists and nine turnovers or less. Like fellow rookie Jonathan Mogbo, Shead has received additional opportunities because veterans have been unavailable. Managers whose leagues will be active during Week 23 should strongly consider adding Shead, especially if they need assists.

While Agbaji finished one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line, this was not his best performance. The turnover count was more concerning than the field goal percentage, as he racked up four. However, the Raptors’ current rotation looks nothing like it will when the team is whole. Fantasy managers watching Agbaji with an eye toward next season’s drafts should keep that in mind; even if he were to blow up, his draft value will be pretty low with a healthy Scottie Barnes, Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett in the fold.

Once again filling in for the injured Scottie Barnes, Mogbo was excellent in Brooklyn. He recorded his first double-double, joining Jared Rhoden, Jamal Shead and Ja’Kobe Walter as Raptors who have recorded their first double-double this season. With the Raptors out of postseason contention, playing time should not be an issue for Mogbo during the season’s final week, regardless of Barnes’ availability.

From a fantasy standpoint, few backcourts have been as hot as Chicago’s tandem of Giddey and Coby White since the All-Star break. Finishing Sunday’s win two assists shy of a triple-double, Giddey has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats since Chicago’s first post-break game on February 20. For those whose fantasy leagues run through Week 23, the Bulls play four games, starting with the Cavaliers on Tuesday.

White has been on an absolute tear since the All-Star break, averaging 26.1 points per game while shooting 50.2 percent from the field and 90.4 percent from the foul line. With his production across the board, White has offered top-25 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. The Bulls are locked into the play-in tournament, but the season’s final four games will be about improving their seeding. For White managers whose leagues will be active during Week 23, that should ensure them of a full slate for the Bulls’ guard.

Terry returned from a one-game absence with a calf injury on Friday, but that isn’t the ailment that has him on the injury report for this game. This is the second-straight game that Ball will initially be listed as questionable. Though he missed Friday’s game against Portland, there is certainly a chance that he is back to play against Charlotte. This second contract will keep Swider with Toronto for the remainder of the season. He made six appearances on the first 10-day deal and averaged 6.5 rebounds, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 three-pointers in 17.8 minutes per game. Scoring-wise, few players have been as hot as White over the past month. He’s averaged 28.2 points per game on 51.1 percent shooting. While his defensive value is limited, Coby’s offensive ability has made him an excellent fantasy asset, especially in points leagues. And with the Bulls visiting the Hornets on Sunday, it would be unsurprising if he capped Week 22 with another 30-point outing.

Buzelis finished Friday’s victory with his first double-double, and the 12 rebounds were a season-high. The rookie forward has recently been an excellent fantasy asset, providing top-50 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Buzelis’s season-long fantasy value hasn’t been great, but he has been a 10th-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats since the beginning of March. The Bulls end Week 22 with a game in Charlotte on Sunday.

Before Friday, Vucevic had gone nearly two months since he last scored at least 30 points in a game. He ended that “dry spell” in a big way against the Trail Blazers, making some history in the process. The double-double was Vucevic’s 200th as a Bull, moving into a tie with Scottie Pippen for second on the franchise’s all-time list. Over the past two weeks, Vooch has provided top-20 value in nine-cat formats, which aligns with his season-long production. He’ll look to finish Week 22 on a high note when the Bulls visit Charlotte on Sunday.

In recording his sixth triple-double of the season, Giddey established a new career-high with 19 rebounds. The move to Chicago has been excellent for his NBA career, and fantasy managers have reaped the rewards. Giddey has been a top-50 player in eight-cat formats, exceeding many expectations, even though his Yahoo! ADP (69) suggested that fantasy managers expected him to be better in 2024-25. And Josh could be in for a big finish to Week 22, as the Bulls visit the Hornets on Sunday.

Quickley has been in and out of the lineup with rest days lately, which could explain his rusty jumper as he was just 5-of-16 from the field Friday. The 25-year-old point guard still had a big impact on the game as he was just two rebounds and two assists shy of a triple-double. Ingram has not made his Raptors debut, as he injured his ankle in early December while a member of the Pelicans and has been sidelined since. While Rajakovic’s update is positive, it will not impact fantasy basketball this season. Most leagues do not include Week 23, and even if Ingram were to be cleared to appear in a game, his minutes would likely be limited. Ingram can provide solid fantasy value, which can be assumed even though we’ve yet to see him share the court with Scottie Barnes. However, injury issues will dent his value during draft season. Ingram has not exceeded 65 games since his rookie season.

Barrett was back after getting a rest night against Chicago on Tuesday, and based on recent trends, he will likely get another one against the Pistons on Friday. However, while available against Portland, Barrett was able to have a productive night in the loss. He typically hasn’t been productive on the defensive end, but his four total defensive stats in this game were a new season-high for him, and his three steals were the most he has had in a game since before the All-Star break.
