Nurkić has missed Utah’s last two games, allowing Kevin Love to fill the void at center. Love would get another start if the 7-footer can’t play, but he may remain in the rotation regardless, given the opponent and his absence from the initial injury report.

Bailey has missed seven of Utah’s last eight games, resulting in Cody Williams getting a few opportunities to start. While Williams may remain in that role even if Bailey plays on Monday, he is not worth the risk in redraft leagues.

Markkanen did not play in Saturday’s loss to the Hornets, in which Utah suffered a historic 55-point beating. He’ll be back on the floor against the Cavaliers, pushing Taylor Hendricks to the bench.

Collier finished one assist shy of a double-double on Saturday, with his playing time receiving a bump due to Utah losing by a franchise-record 55 points. With Keyonte George (four points, two rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in 23 minutes) having the best season of his brief NBA career, Collier’s fantasy upside is limited. However, he’s worth a look in deep leagues for managers needing assists.

Sensabaugh’s offensive performance was the lone bright spot for the Jazz in Saturday’s 150-95 defeat. Scoring isn’t an issue for the third-year wing, but he has offered minimal value outside of points and three-pointers. Over the past two weeks, Sensabaugh has an eight-cat value ranked outside the top-150. While playing time shouldn’t be an issue for him when the silly season rolls around, the category-league value will be limited.

Plus/minus is an imperfect stat, but Williams made the kind of history that no player wants on Saturday. His rating of minus-60 was the worst in league history (spanning 30 years of play-by-play data). He shot the ball relatively well, but the overall production wasn’t there for a player making his second consecutive start. Williams will have more opportunities between now and the end of the season, but he isn’t worth stashing for the “silly season.”

Smith was back in the Bulls’ rotation after a two-game absence, and the playing time wasn’t too far removed from his season average (17.7 mpg). He didn’t shoot the ball well, but the rebounds and blocks will be helpful for deep-league managers who have Smith rostered. The Bulls begin a four-game Week 13 with a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday, so there may be some questions regarding Smith’s availability.

Matching up with Cooper Flagg for the first time this season, Buzelis had a good night. However, it could have been much better for the second-year forward, who missed all five of his three-point attempts. As a result, Buzelis failed to record his third consecutive 20-point game. The most significant issue for Buzelis in fantasy basketball recently has been the foul line, where he has made 66.7 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks. He’s shooting 77.2 percent for the season, so there shouldn’t be too much concern about a player offering top-100 fantasy value.

For the first time this season, Vučević has recorded double-doubles in three consecutive games. The Bulls spread the wealth offensively on Saturday, with seven players scoring in double figures. Vooch supplemented his double-double with a few assists and three “stocks,” the most in a game for him since December 21. Shooting 55.4 percent from the field, Vučević has been close to a top-25 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks.

For the first time this season, Dosunmu has scored at least 20 points in consecutive games. His overall stat line was excellent, with the Bulls’ guard having an efficient night at the office. Add in the assists and steals, and this was a good way for Dosunmu to end Week 12. The Bulls begin a four-game Week 13 with a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday. How high Dosunmu’s fantasy ceiling is depends partly on the availability of Josh Giddey (hamstring), who should be re-evaluated soon, per the timeline provided at the time of his injury.

The Bulls ended their three-game losing streak on Saturday, with offensive balance being the reason. White led seven Bulls in double figures with 22 points, making his first start since December 29. When available, his fantasy value has not met the expectations of fantasy managers, with White ranked just inside the top-150 in eight-cat formats. The Bulls begin a four-game Week 13 in Houston on Tuesday, and that’s the first game of a back-to-back.

Lauri Markkanen is not available for Saturday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Hendricks will fill the void in a move that raises his fantasy ceiling. Kyle Filipowski should still play rotation minutes, but coming off the bench does decrease his value.

Collins has been out since late December with a sprained left big toe. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said on Saturday that the 6-foot-11 forward/center suffered a “pretty significant sprain” and will remain in a walking boot for the foreseeable future. Surgery isn’t currently on the table, but the team has been seeking additional opinions on Collins’ injury. Chicago will continue to rely on Jalen Smith to absorb most of the backup center minutes.

Bailey was only able to play ten minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Thunder, his first game back after missing five with a strained hip flexor. Calayton Jr. is enjoying a nice stretch to begin the new calendar year. Thursday’s solid performance gives him back-to-back games with double-digit points and four three-pointers. He logged north of 20 minutes in each of these games, which, notably, weren’t garbage-time minutes. The former national champion with the Florida Gators seems to be firmly in the nightly rotation at this point, with each productive performance likely helping him maintain his spot.

George had a relatively average game production-wise, finishing with fewer than 20 points for only the 12th time this season and less than two three-pointers for the 11th time. He was his usual productive self as a facilitator, leading Utah in assists for the game. And he was also active on defense, finishing as Utah’s leader in steals, ultimately helping his final line stand out a bit more. George has been stellar throughout his third NBA season and should continue to perform well moving forward.

Markkanen followed up his 29-point, 13-rebound double-double against OKC with another high-scoring performance against the Mavs. Inefficient three-point shooting and struggles from the free-throw line ultimately were the only things to slow his production. Markannen led all scorers and was the only player to take the floor and finish with multiple blocks. He’ll be back at it on Saturday against the Hornets.

Bailey missed five games with a hip injury but returned last night to play 10 minutes against the Thunder. The Jazz are clearly going to be cautious with their rookie, so they may sit Bailey for the second game of a back-to-back. That would likely mean more minutes for Brice Sensabaugh on Thursday.

Nurkić has played at least 30 minutes in each of the last two games, and scored 15 points with 15 rebounds against the Thunder last night. However, the Jazz have been selected in how they rest players, considering they are not in contention this season, but also are playing good basketball of late. If Nurkić were to sit on Thursday, that would likely mean more minutes for Kyle Filipowski since the Jazz don’t really have another traditional center.

The veteran center has been on a roll of late. Wednesday’s double-double marked his second straight, and also marked the sixth consecutive game in which he’s totaled at least 15 points. Inefficient shooting aside, he produced well in this game before fouling out. Nurkic remains a double-double threat even at this stage in his career and has the potential to log more strong performances, like Wednesday’s, going forward.

George notched his first triple-double in nearly a month in the overtime defeat. He didn’t shoot well from the floor, but high volume allowed him to escape with a 20-point outing after failing to do so on Monday vs. Portland. The former Baylor Bear also tallied a season-high in assists and led the team in that department. He’s been one of fantasy basketball’s most pleasant surprises thus far.

Markkanen followed up a relatively mediocre outing in the loss to the Trail Blazers by nearly achieving a 30-point double-double on Wednesday. He shot the ball well both inside and outside the arc and attacked the glass hard in his 44 minutes of game action, resulting in his third double-double of the season. Additionally, Markkanen’s streak of 20-point games is now at 12 — he’ll have a chance to extend it to 13 on Thursday against the Mavericks.

Over his last two games, Vučević has grabbed a total of 31 rebounds. While Detroit’s Isaiah Stewart outplayed him, the veteran center’s double-double will please those who have him rostered. The Bulls did not have Coby White or Josh Giddey for Wednesday’s game, and that usually results in a higher ceiling for Dosunmu. He didn’t start against Detroit, but the reserve guard shot 66.7 percent from the field and led the way offensively for Chicago. Rostered in 23 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been a top-100 player over the past two weeks. Dosunmu is worth holding onto until the Bulls’ perimeter rotation returns to full strength.

Buzelis has now scored at least 20 points in three of his last four games. However, recent injuries to Josh Giddey and Coby White have not resulted in the forward having a higher fantasy ceiling. Over the past two weeks, Buzelis has only been a 12th-round player in eight-cat formats. Hopefully, Wednesday’s performance will be something for him to build on, especially the defensive numbers.
