Johnson didn’t have the best shooting night on Sunday but made big plays to help the Nets secure a victory. He’s now scored more than 20 points in two straight games. Fantasy managers should expect him to continue getting opportunities as a featured option moving forward. Tuesday’s matchup against the Celtics could be tough, though.

Johnson was effective as a scorer and playmaker on Sunday. He got to the charity stripe plenty to help him eclipse 22 points in a second-straight contest. The Nets sharpshooter is looking to generate momentum in the back half of March after being underwhelming at the start of the month. With Evan Mobley, Allen’s running mate in the backcourt, sidelined with a foot injury, Allen was able to step up and deliver a strong double-double. This was Allen’s third 20-point double-double in Cleveland’s last seven games. The main limitation for him in fantasy basketball has been a bunch of lopsided scores. Cavs fans won’t be upset by that at all, but fantasy managers have had to deal with limited production at times. Though they didn’t get the win, that wasn’t the case on Sunday. Cleveland has a four-game week coming up that will start in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

With Evan Mobley sidelined with a foot injury, Hunter moved into the starting lineup. Unfortunately, Hunter wasn’t able to take advantage of the increased opportunity. He has played well since being traded to Cleveland, but the extra minutes didn’t result in a boost in production. That can partially be attributed to foul trouble, which has been a theme throughout Hunter’s career. Hunter will continue to be a solid contributor off the bench for the Cavs, and managers shouldn’t be scared away by this performance the next time Hunter gets to start.

Following a two-game absence with a groin injury, Mitchell returned to the lineup against Orlando. While it was great for fantasy managers to have him back, Mitchell wasn’t at his best in this game. He had a poor shooting night and missed two three-pointers late in the game that would’ve tied things up with less than 30 seconds left. Fortunately, Mitchell will have four games next week to make up for this lackluster performance. That will start with a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday, so keep an eye on the injury report.

Saturday’s game was the first for Brooklyn since it was announced that Cam Thomas (hamstring) will not play again this season. As was the case when Thomas missed close to two months with another hamstring injury, Johnson was inserted into the starting lineup. And Saturday was an excellent night to have him rostered, as Keon shot the ball efficiently and finished one blocked shot away from a complete stat line. Even if the shots aren’t falling, Johnson does enough to provide solid value when allowed to start. He’s worth rostering moving forward, despite Week 20 being a three-game week for the Nets.

The Nets were without Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney for Saturday’s game, ensuring Sharpe a place in the starting lineup. While he didn’t shoot the ball as well as he’s capable of, the fourth-year center was productive in the rebound and assist categories. How active Claxton will be for the rest of the season is unknown, but Sharpe will have value if the Nets decide to limit their starting center or shut him down altogether. Brooklyn begins a three-game Week 20 in Boston on Tuesday.

Johnson has surpassed the 20-point mark on three occasions since returning from a sprained ankle in early February, a somewhat underwhelming return for a shooter of his caliber. The lack of blocks was uncharacteristic for Claxton, but he was still able have an excellent night, specifically as a passer. He wasn’t able to match his 10 assists on Tuesday, but it was still encouraging to see Jordi Fernandez continue to go to him as a playmaker. Of course, the points and rebounds were the best part of his night, and he did take on a few extra minutes at center with Noah Clowney sidelined, which helped the slight bump in production. It’s no secret that Thomas is an elite scorer, but he showed that he can be more than that on Thursday. He set a new career-high for assists and recorded the first double-double of his career in Brooklyn’s loss to Chicago. In his six appearances since returning from his extended absence with a hamstring injury, Thomas has dished out at least six assists in three of them. Mitchell shot 1-of-7 from beyond the arc, hence the poor field-goal percentage in Sunday’s victory. He’s only making 43.6 percent of his attempts from the field since the All-Star break, which has been a factor in Mitchell’s decreased fantasy value. He has only been a ninth-round player in eight-cat formats since the break, but there should not be too much concern among fantasy managers. The more significant issue, at least in the short term, is Cleveland only playing three games during Week 19.

Mobley’s three steals are the most he’s had in a game since February 21, when he hit that number in the Cavaliers’ blowout of the Knicks. Since the All-Star break, the 7-footer has provided third-round value in eight-cat formats. The only negative for fantasy managers is the schedule, as Cleveland only plays three games during Week 19. That won’t hurt Mobley too much, but given his productivity, it would be better to have him available for four games.

All five Cavaliers starters scored in double figures Sunday night, with Strus leading the way.
