Tyson was a first-round pick last summer, but he wasn’t able to carve out a role on a talented Cavs team. That isn’t an indictment of his talent since Cleveland finished with the best record in the East. He took advantage of the opportunity to play a significant role in this game and had the best game of his young career. Tyson won’t be a factor for them during the postseason, but he has a bright future in the league.

Thompson has been an elite rebounder for his entire career, but it has been a few years since he played enough to be relevant in fantasy basketball. However, he got the chance in this game and took advantage. His 20 rebounds were the most he has had in a game since 2020 when he grabbed a career-best 22 boards. It was fun to see Thompson play this well, but he won’t see more than a few minutes during the postseason.

Smith was questionable earlier in the day on Sunday with a headache, but he ended up playing through it and recording a double-double in just 16 minutes. Smith has been the third center option behind Nikola Vucevic and Zach Collins, but Vucevic didn’t play in the second half of this game, which allowed both Smith and Collins (13/4/2) to take on extra minutes. However, while they will still provide some depth, Vucevic will fill out most of the center minutes during the Play-In Tournament.

Huerter got off to a scorching hot start and entered halftime with 18 points and five triples. However, he didn’t play after halftime and ended up playing just 16 minutes, though that was enough time for him to lead the Bulls in scoring. Huerter has played well since being traded to Chicago and should continue to play a significant role in the postseason. Buzelis may not be in the conversation for Rookie of the Year, but his recent performance should have Chicago fans encouraged. This was his sixth-straight game making at least 50 percent of his shots, and he has now scored in double figures in 10 of his last 11 outings. The Bulls clinched the ninth seed in the East, which means Sunday’s season finale against the 76ers won’t matter. However, it may be a good opportunity for Buzelis to play a premier role. Strus was one of three Cavaliers starters who returned to the lineup after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Pacers. He shot 5-of-12 from three on the night, including three makes during the fourth quarter. Strus’s fantasy value is limited to that of a specialist since he shares the court with four standouts ahead of him in the offensive pecking order. Garland’s charge helped Cleveland complete their rally from a 23-point deficit to win a game that had no impact on their seeding for the upcoming playoffs. While he had a rough night at the foul line, Mobley’s overall stat line is one from which many category league managers will benefit, especially those who entered Sunday needing defensive production. The six “stocks” were the most Mobley has recorded in a game since November 27, when he tallied four steals and three blocks in a win over the Hawks. Over the past two weeks, Mobley has been a top-25 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, providing increased value at the right time for managers whose leagues ended on Sunday. From a fantasy standpoint, few backcourts have been as hot as Chicago’s tandem of Giddey and Coby White since the All-Star break.
