Ellis entered Monday’s game having totaled 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting in his previous three appearances. The Cavaliers guard had his most productive night since joining the team via trade, with the 19 points being the most in a game for Ellis since a 21-point effort against the Mavericks as a member of the Kings. While Monday’s performance was excellent, Ellis is more valuable to the Cavaliers than to fantasy managers given his current role.

Like Donovan Mitchell, Wade was available for both games of Cleveland’s back-to-back after missing time with an injury. However, unlike the star guard, Wade was limited to 20 minutes on Monday. That was all the time he needed to record his first double-double of the season. As long as Jarrett Allen (knee) is out, Wade will have a slightly higher fantasy ceiling, but he isn’t guaranteed to reach it consistently.

After playing 33 minutes in his first game back from a strained groin on Sunday, Mitchell logged 31 minutes against the 76ers. Compared to his stat line against the Celtics, the seven-time All-Star’s production on Monday was a bit muted. However, category league managers can use the assists and steals, and two of Cleveland’s final three games of Week 20 are against the lottery-bound Mavericks.

After recording a double-in Sunday’s loss to the Celtics, Harden notched a career milestone against the 76ers. With a first-quarter free throw, The Beard scored the 29,000th point of his NBA career. Harden started slowly on Sunday, shooting 2-of-6 from the field and scoring six points in the first half. Like many of his teammates, The Beard was better in the second half, but the hole Cleveland found itself in early in the third quarter was too deep to climb out of. Harden did dish out 10 assists without recording a turnover, the first time he’s done so since joining the Cavaliers. Over his past two games, the former MVP totaled 15 assists and ten turnovers. Shooting over 50 percent from the field, the 6-foot-11 forward/center was also responsible for eight rebounds and three blocked shots. Though this was another inefficient performance for Cunningham, he was better as a scorer than he was in Cleveland on Tuesday, when he was held to just 10 points. The good news for Cunningham managers is that he recorded 14 assists, the most in a game for him since January 19, when he hit that number in a win over the Celtics. The Pistons’ point guard has reached double figures in assists in six of his last seven games. The showdown between Harden and Detroit’s Cade Cunningham was one in which both players struggled to knock down shots. Given the defensive abilities of both teams, that isn’t surprising. However, one of the differences for Cleveland was that Harden received more help from the other guards in the rotation. Dennis Schröder (15/5/5 with two three-pointers), Craig Porter Jr. (7/8/3 with one three-pointer) and Keon Ellis (7/3/2/2/1) all gave the Cavaliers good minutes off the bench against the team with the best record in the East.

With the Cavaliers once again without Donovan Mitchell and James Harden shooting 5-of-17 from the field, they needed more from the supporting cast on Tuesday.
