The Knicks still need a win to lock up the three-seed in the East. Brunson and McBride should be available for Tuesday’s game between the playoff implications and the probable tags. Cameron Payne benefits the most when either is unavailable, while Delon Wright would enter the rotation if Brunson and McBride are out.

Mitchell sprained his left ankle during the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Kings. While he did return later in the quarter, there’s no reason for the Cavaliers not to give their star guard a night off. Sam Merrill was Mitchell’s replacement the last time he missed a game, which may be the case on Tuesday. While this would boost Merrill’s fantasy value slightly, he is not a must-stream player.

Make it nine straight games with a double-double or triple-double for Towns, whose performance on Sunday was pedestrian by his standards. Over the past two weeks, he has provided third-round value in eight-cat formats, with an average of 3.3 turnovers per game causing a two-round drop in his nine-cat value. The good news for Towns managers whose seasons run through Week 23 is that the Knicks play four games and still have some work to do to sew up the three-seed in the East.

Outside of Chicago’s Coby White, not many players have been as hot as Anunoby has been recently. He’s scored 23 points or more in 10 straight games, including three 30-point outings. Anunoby was rolling during the third quarter of Sunday’s victory, scoring 19 points on 7-of-7 shooting from the field. His hot streak was the perfect time for Anunoby managers whose leagues ended on Sunday. For those whose leagues will be active during Week 23, the Knicks play four games, beginning with the Celtics on Tuesday.

Brunson returned to the Knicks’ lineup on Sunday after a 15-game absence. Unsurprisingly, there was some rust early on. Brunson would score 10 of his 14 points after halftime as the Knicks moved one step closer to locking up the three-seed in the East. Following the game, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said that Brunson was not under any restrictions, but the team trainer watched him closely throughout the game. Also returning on Sunday was Miles McBride (groin), who played 16 minutes and finished with eight points, two assists, two steals and two three-pointers. The Knicks play four games during Week 23, starting with the Celtics on Tuesday.

Mitchell tweaked his left ankle during the third quarter of Sunday’s game but returned after a quick trip to the locker room. That could be problematic for Mitchell managers whose leagues run through the end of the NBA regular season.

While he had a rough night at the foul line, Mobley’s overall stat line is one from which many category league managers will benefit, especially those who entered Sunday needing defensive production. The six “stocks” were the most Mobley has recorded in a game since November 27, when he tallied four steals and three blocks in a win over the Hawks. Over the past two weeks, Mobley has been a top-25 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, providing increased value at the right time for managers whose leagues ended on Sunday. For those whose leagues are active during Week 23, Mobley and the Cavaliers are scheduled to play four games.

Sunday’s game was the first for Jerome since March 25, as a knee injury sidelined him for five games. The Cavaliers’ reserve guard showed no signs of rust against the Kings and has scored 20 points or more in 12 games this season. That’s double Jerome’s total in the first five seasons of his NBA career. While the mainstream conversation regarding the Most Improved Player award has focused on Cade Cunningham, Jerome is one of the under-discussed players whose name should come up more.

By design, the Cavaliers funneled the ball in Hart’s direction, resulting in him attempting 19 shots on Wednesday. He made eight, but it was more important for the Knicks that Hart attempted those shots instead of passing them up. Hart’s fantasy value has taken a hit recently, as shooting 64.7 percent from the foul line over the past two weeks hasn’t helped. However, he’s ranked just outside the top-50 in nine-cat during this stretch.
