While Dwight Powell (four points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 21 minutes) served as the Mavericks’ starting center on Friday, Bagley was on the court for longer. And he was excellent, scoring a season-high 26 points and finishing one rebound shy of a double-double. Bagley finished with a complete stat line, a reminder of what he’s capable of despite coming off the bench on most nights. Dallas plays four games in Week 23, starting with a home-and-home against the Bucks on Monday and Tuesday.

Marshall has not provided much beyond points, rebounds and assists on most nights this season. That wasn’t the case in Portland, as he recorded a career-high five steals, providing fantasy managers with an excellent bonus. While the Mavericks are done for Week 22, they’ll play four games in Week 23, making Marshall a player worth rostering for championship week in Yahoo! default leagues.

Flagg has scored at least 21 points in three straight and six of his last eight games. Just as encouraging for fantasy managers has been that the rookie’s availability has not been an issue. Flagg has not missed a game since returning from a foot injury on March 5. Given where the Mavericks are in the standings, there may have been some fear among fantasy managers regarding a potential shutdown. Flagg continues to play, and on most nights, he has been an excellent fantasy asset.

Garland appeared to roll his left ankle during the second quarter of Friday’s game, heading back to the locker room just before halftime. He was back on the floor for the start of the third and showed no ill effects from the ankle sprain, shooting 7-of-11 from the field in the second half, including 4-of-5 from beyond the arc. Garland did not offer any value beyond points, assists and three-pointers, but few will turn their noses up at a 30-point night.

Playing in Indiana for the first time since he was dealt to the Clippers in the Ivica Zubac trade, Mathurin struggled with his shot. He shot 1-of-5 from inside the arc, but Mathurin compensated for those struggles by getting to the foul line. The Clippers’ wing shot 75 percent from the charity stripe, with the 12 points on free throws boosting his points tally. Sunday’s game against the Bucks may be better for Mathurin, given the emotions associated with his return to Indiana on Friday.

The Clippers appeared to be on their way to one of their worst defeats of the season, but Leonard stepped up when he was most needed. The star forward shot 5-of-8 from the field in the fourth quarter, including a pull-up jumper with less than a second remaining that gave the Clippers a 114-113 lead. That would be the final score as Indiana’s Jay Huff missed two free throws with one-tenth of a second remaining. Leonard and the Clippers play once more in Week 22, a Sunday matinee against the reeling Bucks.

Mathurin’s return from a four-game absence was a successful one, as he helped lead the Clippers to a third consecutive win. Per usual, the Clippers’ sixth man scored the ball well, with free-throw shooting being a primary reason. He also contributed as a passer and ultimately tied a team-high in assists. Mathurin’s offensive production off the bench is necessary for Los Angeles. Fantasy managers can expect him to remain in his role the rest of the way, with nightly scoring production being likely.

After a low-scoring outing in the Clippers blowout win on Monday, Garland upped his overall production in Wednesday’s blowout victory. In 30 minutes, he tallied at least five made three-pointers for the fifth time in 11 games as a Clipper, and used that three-point production to score over 20 points for the seventh time since being traded to Los Angeles. The seventh-year guard has proven to be a good fit at the guard position for the Clippers in his limited time with the team. As they fight for seeding towards the end of the regular season, likely in the Play-In Tournament, Garland should remain a focal point of the offense and a productive player in fantasy leagues.

Leonard’s streak of 20-point performances extended to 49 consecutive games on Wednesday after the Clippers defeated the Raptors by 25 points. He shot efficiently from the field, as he usually does, and found good production at the free-throw line along the way. Leonard’s defensive stats weren’t noteworthy in his 30 minutes of game action, but his impact was felt nonetheless. The two-time NBA champion hasn’t had many dominant performances lately. Yet, he’s remained a reliable contributor on a nightly basis from a fantasy basketball standpoint.

Given the Clippers’ once-46-point lead, Garland’s playing time was relatively low on Monday. Specifically, he finished with 18 total minutes, his fewest as a Clipper. Still, the former NBA All-Star made the most of his time by sinking a few shots from deep and recording at least six assists for the ninth game in a row. A lopsided victory kept Leonard off the floor in the fourth quarter, limiting him to just 25 minutes in total. On the one hand, the lower minutes could be seen as beneficial for the two-time Finals MVP, who has been dealing with an ankle injury recently. The Mavericks went to overtime for a second straight game, and for the second time in a row, Marshall was one of Dallas’ best scorers. Rebounding and playmaking for others were also key parts of his performance, but unfortunately, so were his season-high eight turnovers. While Flagg did not have a good night shooting the basketball, going 6-of-14 from inside the arc, his production in other categories was excellent. He matched his season-high with the four blocks and also provided good value in rebounds and assists. Over the past two weeks, Flagg has provided fourth-round value in eight-cat formats. Washington has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four appearances, and he put up solid percentages in Saturday’s overtime defeat. Marshall has scored at least 25 points in three of his last four games, and he got up 23 shots on Saturday.
