Charania’s report indicates it’s a low-grade left groin strain for Giannis, and if he doesn’t return in November, he should be back quickly to start December. That means at least three absences for Giannis, though he could be out seven games or more, depending on how he recovers. Antetokounmpo has had one of the highest usage rates of his career this year, so there will be plenty of shots to go around. Recently, Kyle Kuzma (24 percent rostered in Yahoo! leagues) replaced Gary Trent Jr. (seven percent) in the starting lineup, but GTJ could make a return to the opening unit with Antetokounmpo out. Jericho Sims started the second half of Monday’s game against the Cavaliers, but that was likely a matchup-based decision against Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Bobby Portis (25 percent) is another candidate to enter the starting lineup, though he has been disappointing this year. Of course, Ryan Rollins, who is enjoying a breakout season for the Bucks, had his two best games of the year when Giannis missed games earlier this year. Everyone on the Bucks will seen a bump in usage and minutes until Antetokounmpo returns.

This one got out of hand quickly as Minnesota built a 32-point lead by the end of the third quarter. Flagg was one of the few bright spots for the injury-depleted Mavericks as he shot 60 percent from the floor and hit two of three from beyond the arc. It’s been an up-and-down rookie campaign so far, which isn’t unexpected as he acclimates to everyday life at the highest level on a Dallas squad that appears headed towards a potential full-scale teardown. Dallas will attempt to turn things around when they host the Knicks on Wednesday evening.

Rollins picked up the slack from an offensive standpoint in the second half following superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo’s exit in the late stages of the second quarter with a left groin strain. However, Milwaukee was unable to avoid their third loss in their last four games. He shot 50 percent from downtown, hitting five of 10 treys and hoisted a team-leading 22 shots in this one. We’re anticipating he’ll get a couple additional looks per-game if Giannis winds up missing time. The Bucks have a couple days off to regroup before facing off against the 76ers on Thursday evening.

Turner will be asked to play an exponentially larger role on both ends of the floor if Giannis Antetokounmpo winds up requiring a lengthy absence after leaving Monday’s contest with a left groin strain. Giannis exited Monday’s game during the second quarter, and the Bucks are describing the injury as a strained left groin. That’s terrible news for the Bucks and for fantasy managers, as the perennial All-Star may be facing an extended absence. Despite playing on an ankle that still doesn’t appear to be fully healthy, Gafford was excellent in his 31 minutes on the court Sunday night. A double-digit scorer in three straight appearances, the Mavericks center notched his first 20-point game of the season. Add in the blocked shots, and Sunday was a good night to have Gafford rostered. He has already played both games of a back-to-back this season, which may bode well for Gafford’s availability for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves. However, he did admit after the game that he aggravated the ankle injury during overtime. Gafford, who said the plan was to travel to Minnesota for Monday’s game, should be considered questionable after logging a season-high 31 minutes.

After shooting 1-of-3 from the field in the first half, Flagg was far more assertive. He shot 4-of-5 from the field in the third quarter, and the rookie forward hit two key shots in the extra period to help Dallas pull away. Washington was one of three Mavericks starters to score at least 20 points in Sunday’s overtime victory, a step in the right direction for the forward. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, P.J. hasn’t benefited from the injuries to other Mavericks frontcourt players in terms of value. Rostered in 42 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Washington is ranked well outside the top-150 in nine-cat formats. After struggling mightily to begin the season, Thompson may be getting back on track. He’s reached double figures in three straight games, making at least four three-pointers in each. At this stage of his career, Thompson is more of a specialist than a player who can provide solid fantasy value across multiple categories. And that’s unlikely to change anytime soon, especially with Max Christie (14/4/4/1 with three three-pointers) taking Klay’s place in the starting lineup.
