After totaling seven assists in his prior four appearances, Marshall racked up seven helpers in Sunday’s victory. His overall stat line was a good one, except for free-throw percentage. While Marshall has not provided much more than late-round value in 12-team formats, the Mavericks’ many injuries have made him worth the risk. After missing three games due to illness, Washington started and played 30 minutes on Sunday. The overall value was limited, but the Mavericks’ forward shot 60 percent from the field. Two days removed from scoring 51 points in a defeat, Flagg made more history on Sunday. The 19-year-old became the first teenager in league history to score at least 40 points in consecutive games, and he was highly efficient. In addition to the percentages, Flagg committed just two turnovers. Also, he was two rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double. Dallas plays four games in Week 24, and the team could decide to let Flagg go all-out in hopes of beating out college teammate Kon Knueppel for Rookie of the Year.

The problem in Sunday’s game was that Anthony Edwards was out and Randle was one of just two Timberwolves with at least 15 points. Randle was the lone Timberwolves starter to shoot 50 percent or better from the field on Friday. And after struggling for a significant portion of March, he appears to be rounding into form. Give Randle credit for stepping up with Anthony Edwards (knee, illness) ruled out. The 27 points were the most he’s had in a game since dropping 32 in a March 17 win over the Suns, and the veteran forward scored efficiently in Detroit. Dosunmu showed off his versatility throughout Monday’s contest. As a scorer, he did most of his work inside the arc before finishing as Minnesota’s second-highest scorer. He set a new season-high in rebounds, which led the Timberwolves. And when he wasn’t scoring, it was likely because of how impactful a facilitator he was, as he reached double figures in assists for the first time this season. Randle was one of several Timberwolves players to land good production against Dallas on Monday. In the one-sided affair, the veteran forward did work as a scorer both inside and outside the arc, while also contributing as a passer. Edwards didn’t start Monday’s game, despite initially being tabbed as a starter in his return from a six-game absence. He eventually checked in off the bench and produced in his 23 minutes during the 30-point victory. Edwards shot the ball efficiently and made some plays as a passer, too, showing that it likely won’t take long for him to get right back in the swing of things. With Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels out, the three players the Timberwolves needed production from all struggled on Saturday.
