After missing 23 games with a Grade 2 left ankle sprain, Braun played three games before heading back to the sidelines. He’s missed the last three games, and it’s likely going to be a little while before he’s back on the court. During Friday’s practice, Braun was limited to non-contact work. Following the session, Nuggets head coach David Adelman said the team will be patient with Braun’s return. The absence of Braun and Cameron Johnson (knee) is all the more reason to add Peyton Watson if he’s available.

Okongwu was Atlanta’s top scorer on the evening, finishing as one of only two Hawks players to reach the 20-point mark. More than half of his production came from beyond the arc, and Thursday’s outing marked the fourth time this January that he’s tallied at least three made three-pointers in a game. Okongwu has been a reliable offensive option for the Hawks in what’s been a career-best season for him thus far. Especially with Kristaps Porzingis sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Okongwu to remain productive.

McCollum’s second game in a Hawks uniform played out similarly to his first. The veteran guard reached the 20-point mark for the second straight game but shot inefficiently from beyond the arc along the way, while making decent contributions as a facilitator. McCollum came off the bench, again, but still logged 29 minutes. It appears that his minutes won’t be as high as they were with Washington, but he’ll still have more than enough opportunities to put up strong fantasy production.

Johnson followed a rough game against the Lakers with another unspectacular performance against the Trail Blazers. He scored his fewest points in over a month and was limited to fewer than 10 field-goal attempts. Watson followed up his 31-point outburst on Tuesday with another strong scoring performance on the second game of a back-to-back. The versatile forward was limited to only 30 minutes on the evening, but still produced enough on the offensive end to finish as the Nuggets’ third-leading scorer. On the second game of a back-to-back, Murray followed his 35-point performance with another 30-point outing. Murray has very quietly enjoyed a strong start to the calendar year, tallying at least 22 points and five assists in each of the five games he’s appeared in. McCollum was solid in his first game as a Hawk, but he really showcased what he can be for them in this game. Though the starters struggled, the bench unit had more success, and McCollum was a big part of that.
