Jokić’s injury came in the opening quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Knicks, when he appeared to tweak his ankle. He returned to the game and scored a triple-double in the loss, but it is now uncertain to take the floor against the Bulls. He’s one of the most productive players in NBA history; his fantasy value will be hard to replace if unable to suit up on Saturday.

Johnson’s upgrade to questionable signals a return to the floor is not far away. The first-year Nuggets forward was injured on December 23 against the Mavericks and has not played in any of Denver’s 23 games since. He’s had an up-and-down season, but he was playing better before the latest injury. Should Johnson return, it’ll likely be to the starting lineup, where he’ll have a chance to pick up where he left off.

Braun returned from injury on February 3 against the Pistons, before taking the floor a second time the next day against the Knicks. Even on the second game of a back-to-back after a long injury layoff, Braun logged 43 minutes in the overtime loss, indicating that his health may not hold him back much going forward. His status ahead of Saturday’s game in Chicago suggests he’ll be available to help the Nuggets try to end a three-game skid.

The Nuggets can’t catch a break this season, as another key player will miss extended time. Spencer Jones (head), Bruce Brown and Tim Hardaway Jr. could all be in line for extended run until Watson returns.

For the second time this season, Traoré scored 21 points in a game. However, the assists and assist-to-turnover ratio are of greater importance to the Nets when evaluating the rookie guard. Traoré committed four turnovers on the night, which is no small feat when considering the defensive abilities of Orlando’s Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black. With the Nets headed back to the draft lottery, Traoré should play plenty for the rest of the season. While not a must-add, his name is one to keep in mind for the post-All-Star break portion of the schedule.

Dëmin continues to be the shining star of Brooklyn’s five-player draft class. The rookie guard shot 66.7 percent from the field, setting a season high with 26 points. Watson, who has provided the Nuggets with excellent contributions as the team navigated multiple injuries, pulled up during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s double-overtime loss to the Knicks. Jones has been excellent as a fill-in for Denver this year while they’ve battled so many injuries. Jokić was supposedly still under a minutes restriction on Wednesday. Due to the combination of the game requiring two overtimes and Jonas Valančiūnas (two points, three rebounds and two assists) struggling with foul trouble, the three-time MVP’s restriction appeared to be nothing more than a suggestion. Jokić played 44 of a possible 58 minutes, recording his 17th triple-double of the season. There was an injury scare during the first quarter when The Joker hit the floor with a left leg injury, but he was able to return. The lone issue for him was three-point shooting, with Jokić going 1-of-13 from beyond the arc.

Murray came out hot on Wednesday, scoring 20 of the Nuggets’ 30 first-quarter points. He struggled from beyond the arc, making only three of 14 attempts, which negatively affected the overall field-goal percentage. However, he’s recorded back-to-back 30-point games, and the 39 scored in Wednesday’s double-overtime defeat were the most in a game for Murray since January 17. The Nuggets play once more in Week 16, Saturday night in Chicago.

Watson played 33 minutes before having to leave Wednesday’s game, giving a foul to stop play before immediately limping back to the locker room. He finished with 10 points (4-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer. The Nuggets relied on Bruce Brown (10 points, five rebounds, three steals, one block and two three-pointers) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (19 points, six rebounds, two assists, one steal and four three-pointers) down the stretch, and that will be the case if Watson has to miss multiple games. Watson will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of his injury.

Jones, who was active for his 50th game of the season, banged heads with Karl-Anthony Towns late in the first quarter. While the rookie remained in the game immediately after, he exited during the second quarter and did not return. As a two-way contract player who was active for his 50th game on Wednesday, Jones can only be eligible for future games if he’s placed on a standard contract. And with Peyton Watson pulling his hamstring during the fourth quarter, there may be more urgency on the part of the Nuggets’ front office to come to a resolution on the rookie’s status.

Jones is back in the Nuggets’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s game, with his inclusion coming at Jalen Pickett’s expense. Denver will have a decision to make afterward, as this is the 50th game Jones has been active for this season, the limit for players on two-day deals. If the Nuggets want to have Jones available for the rest of the regular season and the playoffs, they’ll need to convert him to a standard contract.

While Nic Claxton (10 points, five rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes) will start whenever he’s available, now may be the time for fantasy managers seeking “silly season” value to invest in Sharpe, if they haven’t already. He recorded his third double-double of the season against the Lakers, recording season-highs in points and rebounds while also posting solid numbers in assists and steals. Back in the lineup after missing two games for personal reasons, Porter recorded his second double-double in as many appearances and ninth of the season. And Tuesday should have been even better for the Nets forward, as he shot a brutal 0-of-9 from beyond the arc.
