Ball didn’t play against the Warriors on Tuesday and is back on the injury report after being taken off it on Wednesday. KJ Simpson started against the Dubs and could be in line for another start if Ball can’t go.

Nurkic notched a DNP-CD on Tuesday against the Warriors and has now been ruled out with an illness. It appears likely Moussa Diabate will serve as Mark Williams’ primary backup on Thursday.

Salaun will miss a second straight game with a sprained ankle, while Okogie has not appeared in a game since January 31. The absences will not significantly impact fantasy basketball, but more minutes will be available to Seth Curry and Damion Baugh. The latter is worth watching ahead of the “silly season,” as he may be asked to play significant minutes to run out the string.

Jeffries has missed Charlotte’s last four games with a left knee injury and has lost rotation minutes. Moore, who played 28 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors, has been placed in the league’s concussion protocol. Jeffries and Moore’s availability will not significantly impact fantasy basketball.

Curry scored 14 points in 17 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors. He hasn’t done enough to merit much consideration in fantasy leagues, but the Hornets’ injuries have freed up rotation minutes on the perimeter. Look for Curry to hit the teens in minutes if he’s allowed to play against the Mavericks.

Ball did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Warriors, which was Charlotte’s second game in as many nights. He’ll be back for the final game of the team’s road trip, which means KJ Simpson will return to the bench after starting against Golden State.

Murray and Gordon were also listed as probable ahead of Monday’s win over the Pacers, in which the former played 33 minutes and the latter 24. However, with the Nuggets visiting the Pistons on Friday, one (or both) may get a night off for injury management reasons. Russell Westbrook and Julian Strawther would be first up for additional minutes if Murray or Gordon misses time.

Simpson moved into the starting lineup Tuesday with LaMelo Ball (ankle) out again. The 22-year-old point guard has played at least 30 minutes in three straight games now. Simpson hasn’t been particularly effective in any of those games and Charlotte has lost all three outings. It doesn’t appear that he’s much of a fantasy asset at the moment, but he’s certainly getting a bunch of minutes lately.
