Jones is back in the Nuggets’ starting lineup for Wednesday’s game, with his inclusion coming at Jalen Pickett’s expense. Denver will have a decision to make afterward, as this is the 50th game Jones has been active for this season, the limit for players on two-day deals. If the Nuggets want to have Jones available for the rest of the regular season and the playoffs, they’ll need to convert him to a standard contract.

With the Thunder limiting Nikola Jokić to 16 points and nine shot attempts, Sunday was a night when the Nuggets needed an elite effort from Murray. Unfortunately for him, Oklahoma City was able to make his night difficult as well, with the 12 points being the fewest Murray’s scored in a game since a December 11 win over the Kings in which he finished with 11.
