Two days after Curry dropped 46 points in a win in San Antonio, he provided an encore. He set new season-highs for both points and three-pointers in what was his best game of the season. Since being held to 11 points in a blowout loss to the Thunder, Curry has responded with 95 points and 14 triples across two games. Poor San Antonio. Up next on this road trip is a stop in New Orleans on Sunday to wrap up this week. The Pelicans have a bottom-three defensive rating this season, making this a great opportunity for Steph to stay scorching hot.

Butler was able to supplement Stephen Curry’s 49 points with enough offense for the Warriors to escape with a win. Butler scored at least 20 points for a second straight game, but he wasn’t able to replicate his five three-pointers from Wednesday’s game against the Spurs. They’ll leave San Antonio with back-to-back wins, and Butler was solid in both.

Murray didn’t shoot the ball well on Wednesday, but was still one of Denver’s top scorers on the evening. His biggest contributions came on the defensive end, however, where he logged a season-high in steals. Through the first few weeks of the season, the veteran guard has put up similar averages to what he’s produced throughout the last five years. He remains one of the Nuggets’ most reliable players.

Gordon had an unspectacular, but somewhat productive night against the Clippers on Wednesday. He was one of four Nuggets players to score in double figures, and he finished tied for second in rebounds. Not much was asked of Gordon on a night in which Nikola Jokic scored 55 points and 18-of-23 shooting. Yet, he finished with decent production from a fantasy basketball standpoint, regardless. A more competitive game on Saturday against the Timberwolves could potentially lead to a more productive game from Gordon.

Jokic wasted no time putting the ball in the basket on Wednesday — he set the tone early with 25 first-quarter points and remained efficient the rest of the way before finishing with his first 50-point game of the season. The former Finals MVP punished the Clippers inside and outside the arc, and got to the foul line frequently, as well. He’s been tremendous after a slower start to the season, and has Denver performing like a legitimate title contender.

Moody got the start against the Spurs and added another strong performance. His biggest impact on Wednesday came from beyond the arc, where he made half of his attempts and finished as one of three Warriors players with at least five makes from deep. Butler played a major role in Golden State’s comeback win over San Antonio. He used accurate shooting, high three-point production, and good volume at the free-throw line to nearly reach the 30-point mark. In addition to his scoring, Butler made plays on the defensive end and also set the table for his teammates. Overall, he tallied a very balanced performance to help the Warriors get their second road win of the season.

Curry exploded in the third quarter against the Spurs to help land his second 40-point game of the season. He scored 22 points in the frame as part of a 31-point half that allowed the Warriors to come from behind and secure the victory. He’ll have another chance to produce at a high level against the Spurs during Friday’s rematch.

Brown, whose production had been modest in his first nine games, had his best showing of the season on Tuesday. He established a new season-high point total and matched his high in rebounds. However, what was most notable about Tuesday’s result was Brown being part of the closing lineup, with the struggling Cameron Johnson (five points, two rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes) relegated to the bench. Murray was back in the Nuggets’ lineup after sitting out Saturday’s win over the Pacers with a calf issue, playing 37 minutes. And he was at his best in the fourth quarter, scoring ten of the Nuggets’ 37 points. Thus far, Murray has provided second-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! Back in the Nuggets’ lineup after missing Saturday’s win over the Pacers with a hamstring injury, Gordon played 30 minutes on Tuesday without any issues. What may be of interest to fantasy managers is how he’s shot the ball from deep since going 10-of-11 in Denver’s season opener. Gordon has gone 11-of-34 since that night, including 2-of-4 on Tuesday. After missing Friday’s loss to the Nuggets with a foot injury, Horford played 18 minutes off the bench on Sunday. One positive about the veteran center/forward is that he doesn’t need to be on the floor long to provide value, as evidenced by his 4-of-6 night from beyond the arc.
