Filling in for the injured Aaron Gordon (ankle), Nnaji sprained his left ankle during Friday’s win over the Pistons. Both are considered questionable for Sunday’s game. Both being sidelined would likely force the Nuggets to go small, with Russell Westbrook or Julian Strawther moving into the starting lineup.

Gordon did not play in Friday’s win over the Pistons after spraining his left ankle the night before in Milwaukee. Zeke Nnaji replaced him in the starting lineup, but Nnaji is also questionable for Sunday’s game. Russell Westbrook or Julian Strawther may be forced to move into the starting lineup if neither can go.

Having been signed to a two-way deal on February 7, Goodwin played 21 minutes off the bench Friday night. Shooting 3-of-7 from the field, he finished with six points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals. While the production hasn’t exactly translated to fantasy basketball, Goodwin has done enough to earn Redick’s trust. He’s only appeared in seven games, so the 50-game limit won’t be an issue for the regular season. However, the Lakers must convert him to a standard deal at some point to ensure Goodwin is eligible for the postseason.

Lakers coach JJ Redick delivered the news following Friday’s win over the Clippers, the first game played after Hachimura strained his left knee during Thursday’s win over the Timberwolves. He’ll miss a few more games, and the Lakers begin an extended trip east on March 8 in Boston. Dorian Finney-Smith replaced Hachimura in the starting lineup on Friday and will likely retain that role. Jarred Vanderbilt will also have added importance but offers minimal offensive value.

After playing nine minutes on Friday, a sore right calf hastened Austin Reaves’ exit, and Vincent started the third quarter. He didn’t provide much scoring, but the assists and steals are notable. Vincent has recorded at least one steal in four straight games, and the four pilfers on Friday were a season-high. He won’t be a must-stream player if Reaves misses time, but there’s the potential for Vincent to provide modest value in the steals category in extremely deep leagues if he’s forced to start.

With Rui Hachimura (knee) out, Finney-Smith made his seventh start as a Laker on Friday. The production was modest, but he’ll have a few more opportunities to start. Following the win, Lakers coach JJ Redick said Hachimura will be re-evaluated in about one week. Finney-Smith may get at least three more starts, beginning with Sunday’s rematch with the Clippers. So, deep-league managers needing to roll the dice for three-pointers and steals should consider streaming DFS.

Doncic notched his second 30-point game in a Laker uniform, with the only issue for fantasy managers likely being the six turnovers he was responsible for. Since making his debut for the team on February 10, Luka has provided top-50 value in eight-cat formats. While that doesn’t align with what fantasy managers have grown accustomed to, things could be far worse. Doncic appears to be getting more comfortable with his new teammates, and the calf injury that sidelined him for nearly six weeks hasn’t given him any trouble.

James had an injury scare late in Friday’s game, where he appeared to tweak something in his core. However, during his postgame interview on ESPN, he said that all was fine, so fantasy managers should plan for LeBron’s injury listing to be the usual (left foot) ahead of Sunday’s rematch with the Clippers. Over the past three weeks, he has been a top-10 player in eight-cat formats, which is virtually unfathomable for a player his age.

Reaves played nine minutes in the first quarter before leaving with right calf soreness. He went to the locker room and was eventually ruled out. It’s unclear how the injury might impact Reaves and the Lakers going forward at this time.

Porter Jr. had his fourth game with at least 28 points in the month of February. The 26-year-old small forward was efficient shooting 10-of-15 from the field including 6-of-7 from behind the 3-point line. Porter Jr. also pulled down nine rebounds. He’s provided third-round fantasy value in February.

Murray’s 31-point effort was the fourth time he eclipsed 30 points in the month of February. He lit the Pistons up with five 3-pointers, bouncing back from a loss to the Bucks on Thursday. Murray continues to deal with a knee injury, but hasn’t missed a game since early February. The 28-year-old point guard is heating up as we approach the fantasy playoffs.

Jokic also had a triple-double Thursday in the loss to the Bucks. The 30-year-old center now has 28 triple-doubles in 54 games, needing only four more to break the single-season record (held by Wilt Chamberlain). Jokic dished out 15 assists against the Pistons Friday and is on pace to become the first center to average at least 10 assists in a season. While he isn’t currently the favorite for the league’s MVP away, Jokic is certainly the fantasy MVP this season.

Upgraded from questionable to probable earlier Friday evening, Hayes is officially available to play. He’ll occupy his usual place in the starting lineup, meaning the only change will be Dorian Finney-Smith stepping in for the injured Rui Hachimura (knee). Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves and LeBron James complete the starting five.

However optimistic Redick is that Hachimura avoided a serious injury, he didn’t provide a timeline for the 27-year-old small forward’s return to the court. Hachimura had imaging done on his left knee Friday and Dorian Finney-Smith replaced him in the starting lineup. Finney-Smith is worth streaming in deep leagues while Hachimura is out, which should be for at least the next few games.

Hachimura was injured during the third quarter of Thursday’s win over the Timberwolves and has since been diagnosed with a strained left knee. James put on a show in this one, producing game-high point and rebound totals. James has been great this season, but he’s been on another level lately. Across his last 14, James has scored 25 or more points 10 times and recorded seven double-doubles. In that span, he’s averaged a healthy 28/8/8 line and led the Lakers to an 11-3 record. The Lakers have climbed the Western Conference standings and sit just two games back of the No. 2 seed thanks in large part to James’ elite contributions.

Doncic delivered a triple-double in Tuesday’s win over his former team, and perhaps fantasy managers should have expected a letdown following that emotional performance. Doncic struggled from the jump, and he never found his footing on offense. His 21 points on 20 shot attempts (1-of-9 from beyond the arc) was far from the model of efficiency, but an 8-of-12 performance from the charity stripe was enough to bolster his final point total. Fortunately for fantasy managers burned by Doncic’s poor shooting, his peripheral contributions were quite substantial.

That makes 27 triple-doubles through 53 games. With 23 games left on the schedule, Jokic is just five away from breaking Wilt Chamberlain’s single-season record for triple-doubles by a center. James had a rather nondescript first three periods of Tuesday’s game, as he appeared intent on allowing Luka Doncic to take over against his former team. But in “winning time,” LeBron flipped a switch. Shooting 7-of-9 from the field in the fourth quarter, scoring 16 points with five rebounds, two assists and one three-pointer. James has scored 25 points or more in four straight games and has provided top-10 value in eight-cat formats since Doncic made his Lakers debut on February 10.

Reaves has now scored 20 points or more in four of his last six games, with three of those performances occurring with Luka Doncic on the court. Since the trade, Reaves has provided third-round value in nine-cat formats, averaging 20 points, four rebounds, six assists, 0.8 steals, one block and 2.5 three-pointers per game. Doncic faced the Mavericks for the first time since he was traded in early February. He got off to a good start offensively on Tuesday, racking up nine points, seven rebounds and four assists in the first quarter. The point total may not have been as gaudy as most anticipated, but Doncic did record his first triple-double as a Laker. Luka has provided third-round value in eight-cat formats since the trade but was under a minutes restriction in his first two appearances.
