Less than 24 hours after losing a double-overtime thriller to the Timberwolves, Denver will play Wednesday’s game without its entire starting five. Porter and Gordon’s absences free up minutes for Peyton Watson (if he can play) and Hunter Tyson. Watson is a game-time decision due to an inflamed right knee. If cleared, Watson would be the preferred streamer, but Tyson is also worth the risk.

It’s reasonable for Jokic to be a little gassed after posting a 61-point triple-double on Tuesday. Murray, on the other hand, is looking to return from a two-game layoff. Denver played Tuesday’s game with their No. 2 and No. 3 scorers sidelined, which resulted in their top-scoring option having a monster night. Jokic set a new career-high for scoring and now holds the highest-scoring game in the NBA this season, surpassing De’Aaron Fox’s 60-point night in November. Jokic also joined an exclusive club of players to record a 60-point triple-double, with James Harden and Luka Doncic also having reached those marks in a single game. However, both Harden and Doncic scored exactly 60 points, making Jokic’s triple-double the highest-scoring in league history. Unfortunately, he is now 0-3 in his career when he scores at least 50 points in a game in his career. Still, it was a historic night that will help strengthen Jokic’s case for MVP.

AG stepped up on the offensive end with both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. sidelined. After scoring a total of 13 points across his last two appearances, AG stepped up and had his seventh game with at least 20 points since the All-Star break. Prior to the break, Gordon had just three 20-point games. Gordon has been able to fill whatever role the team needs him to, and while it wasn’t enough to get a win in this game, he needed to be a scorer. Denver will play San Antonio on Wednesday on the second night of a back-to-back. Gordon hasn’t played both legs of a back-to-back since February, and that likely won’t change against the Spurs.

Rollins has started six of Milwaukee’s last seven games, and the last few have been productive for him. Two games after he set a career-high with 20 points, Rollins set another career-high. Over the past two weeks, Rollins has averaged 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, four assists, 1.1 steals and 2.1 triples per game. That has him producing top-100 value in nine-cat leagues during that stretch, and with Damian Lillard out indefinitely, Rollins should be a quality option for the rest of the season.

Typically known for his blocks and three-pointers, Lopez was able to show off his skills as a passer on Tuesday. This was his third time this season finishing with six assists, which he has now done twice in Milwaukee’s last three games. It was also great to see Lopez bounce back after finishing with just five points, one rebound, one assist, one steal and one block against Atlanta on Sunday. Lopez has been a streaky producer all season, and this recent stretch was just another example.

Once again, Antetokounmpo dominated on offense for the shorthanded Bucks. This was his fifth-straight game with at least 30 points, which helped end a four-game slide for Milwaukee. His 11 dimes were also the most he has had in a game since January. However, what was most impressive from Giannis in this game was his success at the free throw line. It was entirely uncharacteristic for a player that has shot 61.1 percent from the charity stripe this season, and it isn’t something that managers should expect to continue moving forward.

Surprisingly, Watson was Nuggets coach Michael Malone’s pick to replace the injured Jamal Murray (hamstring) in the starting lineup on Friday. While the third-year forward did not score much, he provided solid value in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Rostered in eight percent of Yahoo! leagues, Watson is ranked just outside the top 75 in nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. While he can be a valuable player when the Nuggets are shorthanded, Watson’s fantasy value hinges on the availability of the team’s starters. Denver plays four games during Week 22, starting with the Timberwolves on Tuesday.

Westbrook made history on two fronts in Friday’s 36-point victory, moving into eighth all-time in assists and 16th in steals. While the overall stat line was solid, a familiar bugaboo has been an issue recently. Westbrook committed six turnovers on Friday, pushing his total to 35 over his last seven games. While this isn’t an issue in eight-cat formats and leagues where managers are punting that category, Westbrook is ranked outside the top 200 in nine-cat over the past two weeks. He did not start Friday’s game despite the Nuggets being without Jamal Murray, but Westbrook’s fantasy ceiling is raised whenever the starting point guard is unavailable.

Jokic fell a few assists shy of a triple-double, but the four steals were the most he’s had in a game since December 3, when he tallied a season-high five against the Warriors. All that prevented the three-time MVP from another triple-double was the playing time, as none of the Nuggets starters played during the fourth quarter of the 129-93 victory. Porter has scored 20 points or more in consecutive games for the second time this month. However, his fantasy value can’t be measured solely by MPJ’s points tally, which is an improvement over what he was as a player earlier in his career. The return of Giannis Antetokounmpo also resulted in Rollins moving back into the starting lineup on Friday. The performance was arguably his best as a pro, with the third-year guard scoring a career-high 20 points. Rollins, who shot 66.7 percent from the field, provided solid value in the rebound, assist and three-point categories. He isn’t a great streaming option, but Rollins has a more straightforward path to consistent value with Damian Lillard (calf) out of the lineup.
