The Jazz are without Walker Kessler (concussion) for Friday’s game, and his absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup. Juzang will fill the void, with Filipowski shifting to the center position. The former is worth streaming consideration in deep leagues, while the latter is already rostered in some standard leagues.

Martin has averaged just over 21 minutes per game across his last six, so his absence will free up some rotational minutes for the likes of Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski. With Walker Kessler (concussion) sidelined, Martin likely would have started if he was available. That opportunity will now likely fall to either Johnny Juzang or Svi Mykhailiuk.

Kessler played on Wednesday after missing Utah’s two previous games with an illness. However, he is now listed as out due to a nasal fracture that also has him in concussion protocols. With 10 days left in the regular season, it wouldn’t be surprising if Kessler didn’t suit up again this season. KJ Martin should return to the starting lineup, with Kyle Filipowski sliding over to center.

Jordan returned to the Nuggets’ starting lineup for the first time since March 24. As expected, the veteran center provided excellent value in the rebound category, with the 17 caroms matching his season-high. Jordan only had four official shot attempts, as the Spurs resorted to sending him to the foul line instead of giving up layups and dunks. Moving forward, Jordan will only be worth rostering when Nikola Jokic is unavailable, as on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s start was the second of Tyson’s career, as the Nuggets were without their entire starting five. He got his money’s worth by putting up 20 shots, but the second-year forward only made 35 percent of his attempts. There’s no need to read too much into Tyson’s performance; most of the Nuggets’ starters should be back for Friday’s game against the Warriors. He’s unlikely to be in the rotation when Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. are available.

Pickett made his second career start on Wednesday, as the Nuggets’ entire starting five was out for the second game of the team’s back-to-back. The second-year guard recorded the best stat line of his NBA career, dropping a triple-double in 35 minutes on the court. There’s no need to add Pickett in the aftermath of this performance, as most of the players who sat out on Wednesday should be back for Friday’s game against the Warriors. But it was nice to see him take advantage of his opportunity.

With Denver’s entire starting five sidelined for Wednesday’s game, Westbrook was allowed to redeem himself as a starter after a brutal finish to Tuesday’s double-overtime loss to the Thunder. The final stat line was solid as the Nuggets guard notched his first 30-point game of the season. Finishing one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line, Westbrook’s lone issue on Wednesday was the four turnovers he committed. His fantasy value will decrease as soon as Denver’s starters return, which should be on Friday against the Warriors.

After a two-game absence, Kessler returned to the Jazz lineup and played 28 minutes on Wednesday. He did fill out the stat sheet, which, unfortunately, included a 1-of-5 night at the foul line. The inconsistent availability has negatively impacted Kessler’s fantasy value, as he’s ranked well outside the top 150 in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past two weeks. Of course, fantasy managers who have him rostered aren’t going to drop Kessler, nor should they. That said, Kyle Filipowski has been far more reliable recently, and he’s only rostered in 39 percent of Yahoo! leagues. The rookie struggled on Wednesday, shooting 3-of-14 from the field and dropping a 6/11/1/2/2 line, but he’s provided ninth-round value over the past two weeks.

Sexton returned to the Jazz lineup after missing Monday’s loss to the Hornets and was solid in his 24 minutes on the court. While he’s still rostered in 77 percent of Yahoo! leagues, the issue for fantasy managers is that the Jazz essentially know what they have in Sexton. As a result, he’s not playing starters’ minutes despite being in the starting lineup. Johnny Juzang, bumped to the bench with Sexton back in the lineup, finished Wednesday’s defeat with five points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in 23 minutes, shooting 2-of-11 from the field.

Sure, there aren’t many positives to take from a 143-105 defeat. However, Collier’s performance was arguably his best of the season. Not only did the rookie shoot over 50 percent from the field and score 22 points, but he also dished out 10 assists and did not commit a turnover. With Collier committing at least four turnovers in four of his previous five appearances, this was a welcome performance from the first-round pick out of USC. Given how Jazz coach Will Hardy has handled the minutes, it appears the team feels better about Collier at the point than 2023 first-round pick Keyonte George. George has not started a game since January 22, and he finished Wednesday’s loss with 14 points, one rebound and three three-pointers in 27 minutes.

Less than 24 hours after losing a double-overtime thriller to the Timberwolves, Denver will play Wednesday’s game without its entire starting five. Denver played Tuesday’s game with their No. 2 and No. 3 scorers sidelined, which resulted in their top-scoring option having a monster night. Jokic set a new career-high for scoring and now holds the highest-scoring game in the NBA this season, surpassing De’Aaron Fox’s 60-point night in November. Jokic also joined an exclusive club of players to record a 60-point triple-double, with James Harden and Luka Doncic also having reached those marks in a single game. However, both Harden and Doncic scored exactly 60 points, making Jokic’s triple-double the highest-scoring in league history. Unfortunately, he is now 0-3 in his career when he scores at least 50 points in a game in his career. Still, it was a historic night that will help strengthen Jokic’s case for MVP.

AG stepped up on the offensive end with both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. sidelined. After scoring a total of 13 points across his last two appearances, AG stepped up and had his seventh game with at least 20 points since the All-Star break. Prior to the break, Gordon had just three 20-point games. Gordon has been able to fill whatever role the team needs him to, and while it wasn’t enough to get a win in this game, he needed to be a scorer. Filipowski got another start with Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen out against the Hornets Monday. The 21-year-old power forward was hardly efficient on offense, going 2-of-8 from behind the three-point line.
