For the first time since December 30, the Pistons have their preferred starting five to begin a game. Cunningham, Harris and Duren all return after missing time due to injury, and Isaiah Stewart will be available off the bench. Robinson and Thompson are the only two who were in the lineup for Detroit’s most recent game, a loss to the Clippers on Saturday.

White struggled in his first game back from a calf injury that sidelined him in Tuesday’s loss to the Rockets. He was limited to 30 minutes of action on Wednesday and didn’t have his usual impact as a scorer. He also logged five turnovers and struggled with his ball security, despite being having a good game as a facilitator. White is having a down season relative to his recent campaigns, but he will have a chance to bounce back on Friday against the Nets.

Donsunmu bounced back from an unspectacular performance against the Rockets to put up some solid numbers in a winning effort against the Jazz on Wednesday. The fifth-year guard scored efficiently and was impactful with his playmaking against Utah to finish as one of Chicago’s top scorers and assisters. The double-figure scoring performances marked the sixth of January for Dosunmu, who continues to have one of his best seasons as a pro.

This was a seventh straight start for Jones, and while the assists have come consistently, the points have been up and down. However, he had an insanely hot night as a scorer, which led to a new career high for points. Jones will continue to start and be worth rostering as long as Josh Giddey (hamstring) remains out, but with Coby White (calf) likely back against the Jazz, Jones isn’t going to have a repeat of this performance in the near future.

Matching up with Cooper Flagg for the first time this season, Buzelis had a good night. However, it could have been much better for the second-year forward, who missed all five of his three-point attempts. As a result, Buzelis failed to record his third consecutive 20-point game. The most significant issue for Buzelis in fantasy basketball recently has been the foul line, where he has made 66.7 percent of his attempts over the past two weeks. On a night where the Pistons were without Cade Cunningham (wrist), Isaiah Stewart (illness), Jalen Duren (ankle) and Tobias Harris (hip), Robinson went off for a season-high 20 first-half points, going 5-of-6 from three-point range to help Detroit open a 19-point lead at the break. Amazingly, he failed to score in the final two quarters, attempting just one shot during that span. The 31-year-old sharpshooter looked like he was on the verge of challenging his previous career-high mark of 34 points in the early stages of this one, but the Clippers put the clamps on him down the home stretch. While Jaden Ivey was the pick to replace the injured Cade Cunningham in the Pistons’ lineup, the star guard’s absence also boosted Jenkins’ value in the short term. The second-year guard did not shoot the ball well, but he did rack up a career-high 15 assists. Jenkins, who is still on a two-way deal, has a limited long-term fantasy ceiling for that reason and Detroit’s perimeter depth. But Ivey did dish out four assists, with only Paul Reed (9/6/6/1 with one three-pointer) having more among the Pistons starters.
