No surprise here as Cunningham is set to miss his sixth game in a row with a calf injury. With the Pistons locked into a top-six playoff seed in the Eastern Conference, there’s no reason to push things with their 23-year-old superstar. Dennis Schroder will continue to start in Cunningham’s absence with Marcus Sasser coming off the bench as the backup point guard.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Okeke will fill Cleveland’s open roster spot. Okeke recently spent time on a 10-day deal with the 76ers, where he made six appearances and three starts. Cunningham has missed Detroit’s last five games, but he could be back in the lineup against Toronto. They won’t rush him back if he isn’t fully healthy with the playoffs this close, so this certainly isn’t a guarantee that he’ll make his return. Schroder started his third game in a row in the absence of Cade Cunningham (calf) Wednesday. The 31-year-old point guard didn’t have as good of a game this time around as he had just 15 points on 18 shots and seven assists after going for double-doubles in his previous two games. It’s unclear when Cunningham might return, which likely means more starts for Schroder, who is a must-roster player as long as he’s in the starting lineup.

Hardaway Jr. went off for 23 points and five three-pointers as the Pistons lost by 16 to the Thunder. We’ve seen this movie before as the 33-year-old shooting guard is certainly capable of big games but tends not to sustain this level of production. He might have the opportunity if Tobias Harris, who left Wednesday’s game against the Thunder with an Achilles injury, misses more time. In that case, Malik Beasley would return to the starting lineup, and he’s arguably better than Hardaway in a similar role.

Harris was ruled out in the second half with right Achilles tendinopathy. The 32-year-old power forward missed the last two games with an Achilles issue and now wasn’t able to finish the game against the Thunder Wednesday. It’s difficult not to be concerned about Harris’ availability going forward. With the Pistons looking ahead to the playoffs, he could take games off even if he’s close to 100 percent healthy. Malik Beasley figures to move into the starting lineup if Harris is unable to start the Pistons next game, which comes Friday against the Raptors.

While Garland’s final stat line would not be described as elite, it was a performance he and those who have him rostered needed. In his three prior appearances, the Cavaliers guard shot 34.8 percent from the field and averaged 16.7 points per game. Garland was considerably more efficient against the Knicks, and fantasy managers will also take the six assists. He’ll look to build on this performance when the Cavaliers visit the lottery-bound Spurs on Friday.

Allen may not have been dominant in Wednesday’s victory, but his performance could be considered excellent. The Cavaliers center has surpassed the 20-point mark in three of his last four outings, shooting an incredible 85.4 percent from the field. Over the past week, Allen has been ranked just outside the top 25 in nine-cat per-game value. Sidekick Evan Mobley was solid on Wednesday, finishing with 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer. Allen’s production carried the night, moving the Cavaliers one game closer to locking down home-court advantage throughout the Eastern Conference playoffs.

After a slow first half, Mitchell kicked into high gear in the second, as Cleveland stormed back and won comfortably. He’s scored at least 24 points in four straight games, which is one reason why he’s provided top-5 value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past week. The Cavaliers end Week 22 with games against the Spurs and Kings, which are good matchups for Mitchell. However, with Cleveland closing in on the one-seed in the East, fantasy managers will hope he isn’t given a night off in advance for the playoffs.

Hardaway has reached double figures in three straight and four of his last five outings. And with the veteran guard scoring 52 points in his last two outings, this qualifies as one of THJ’s most productive stretches of the season. Duren recorded his 37th double-double of the season on Sunday and his 13th since the All-Star break. The Pistons’ center offers limited defensive value, which lowers his fantasy ceiling. Over the past two weeks, Duren has been an eighth-round player in nine-cat formats, one round worse than his season-long value. Hunter didn’t move into the starting unit in place of Evan Mobley, who got a rest night on Thursday, but he did end up providing value off the bench. After playing 22-23 minutes over Cleveland’s three previous games, Hunter played 31 minutes against San Antonio, which allowed him to have one of his best rebounding performances as a Cavalier and set a new high for steals since being traded to Cleveland. Cleveland has been rotating members of its “core four” to get rest nights, which has opened the door for Strus to take on a larger role offensively. He was quiet over their last three games, but he was able to provide a scoring punch on Thursday. Coming off the best season of his career, Strus has quietly been better in a smaller role. His minutes, points and assists are all down, but his three-pointers are about the same, and his shooting percentages have improved. It has been a rough few weeks for Mitchell, and there was plenty of concern about both him and the Cavaliers as a team. Despite their incredible season, a four-game losing streak had them looking a little exposed. It took a half of basketball for Cleveland to figure out the mismatch they had down low. Even with Evan Mobley (rest) sidelined, San Antonio had no answer for Allen. He only had two points at halftime, but he was able to put up 27 points and haul in 10 rebounds after the break.
