Hunter, who has been a starter due to Max Strus’ absence, is averaging 18.2 points per game, which would be a career-best if he were to sustain it. Of even greater value to category-league managers has been his improved production in other key categories, most notably rebounds and assists. Hunter goes into Week 3 providing top-100 value in eight cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP of 140. Cleveland doesn’t play again until Wednesday, so there’s no need to add Hunter yet. But he’ll be worth a look in a few days, as Cleveland plays three games in the final five days of Week 3.

While the Cavaliers’ injuries thus far have been aggravating, Tyson’s increased confidence has been a positive. The second-year wing, filling in for Sam Merrill, has scored 18 points or more in three straight games. Rostered in five percent of Yahoo! leagues, Tyson is providing 12th-round value in eight-cat formats. However, Cleveland plays three games during Week 3, and none until Wednesday. If Merrill remains out, Tyson will be worth a look in deep leagues, but there’s no need to move right now.

Mitchell showed no ill effects from the lingering hamstring issue that kept him out of Friday’s loss to the Raptors. He played 36 minutes on Sunday and was efficient as a scorer, shooting over 57 percent from the field. Also, Mitchell knocked down a season-high eight three-pointers against the Hawks. As long as the hamstring injury doesn’t flare up, Spida will provide excellent fantasy value throughout the season. Lonzo Ball, who started for Mitchell on Friday, played 27 minutes and finished with eight points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and two three-pointers.

Robinson enjoyed his best game as a Piston on Saturday, shooting over 50 percent from the field and notching a season-high point total. The issue thus far has been inconsistency, with Robinson shooting 42.9 percent from the field. Robinson will look to build on Saturday’s performance when the Pistons visit the Grizzlies on Monday.

Harris had a challenging night in Mexico City, injuring his right ankle during the first half. The good news is that he returned, starting the third quarter, and played 35 minutes. That said, Harris never looked entirely comfortable after the injury and struggled with his shot throughout. While he isn’t too far off from his Yahoo! The ankle injury is more concerning, especially with the Pistons visiting the Grizzlies on Monday in the first of four games they’ll play during Week 3.

Saturday’s game in Mexico City was the “Cade and Jalen Show,” as Cunningham and starting center Jalen Duren were dominant for the Pistons. Cade matched his career-high with 18 assists and only committed one turnover. Cunningham’s two issues from a fantasy standpoint thus far have been turnovers and field goal percentage, as he’s averaging 3.8 turnovers and shooting 40.2 percent from the field. Neither was an issue on Saturday, allowing the Pistons to pull away down the stretch.

Unsurprisingly, a Mavericks team playing without Anthony Davis and Dereck Lively II due to injury had no answer for Duren in Mexico City. The fourth-year center spent the entirety of his time on the offensive end in the restricted area, where he attempted all 16 of his shots. In addition to recording his third double-double in six games, Duren notched his second career 30-point game. Shooting 63.8 percent from the field and 84.6 percent from the foul line, he’s providing top-50 value in nine-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP (56). The Pistons play four games during Week 3, starting with the Grizzlies on Monday.

Merrill is in jeopardy of missing his third consecutive game with a right hip contusion. The questionable injury status doesn’t give the 29-year-old shooting guard a great chance of being available against the Hawks on Sunday. Allen missed Friday’s game after he suffered a non-displaced fracture of his left right finger earlier in the week. It’s unclear how much more time the 27-year-old center could miss, but he’s listed as questionable putting his status in doubt on Sunday. Mitchell missed Friday’s game against the Raptors with a hamstring injury. Now his status for Sunday’s game is up in the air given his questionable injury designation. Hunter was one of primary beneficiaries of Jarrett Allen, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland all missing this game. The 27-year-old small forward played 34 minutes, had 26 points and made four three-pointers, all of which are season-highs at this point for Hunter. He should have some opportunities to step up and have big games when his teammates return from injury because he’s still one of the Cavaliers’ starting players.

Mobley was set up for fantasy success in this one with the Cavaliers down Jarrett Allen, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland. Tyson entered Wednesday averaging 5.3 points per game, scoring no more than nine points in his previous four appearances. While Hunter finished with a solid point total, the field goal percentage was lacking due to a 3-of-12 night from beyond the arc. Could Duren be in for a breakout season this year? The easiest path to a breakout would be an injury to Isaiah Stewart, which would mean more minutes on a regular basis for Duren. On Wednesday, the 21-year-old center played 33 minutes, though. Another way Duren could breakout is that the Pistons simply need his scoring to win games this year. The Pistons have three wins after five games. In those wins, Duren has scored at least 20 points twice and in the other game he was ejected after playing 12 minutes. With the Pistons needing points without Jaden Ivey (knee) and Malik Beasley, Duren looks like he’s ready to step up.
