Stewart wasn’t on Detroit’s initial injury report, but there is now a chance that he sits out against Utah. If that happens, Paul Reed will fill out the backup center minutes, which will be a limited role with Jalen Duren healthy.

Harden struggled in both of the Clippers’ road losses to the Lakers, shooting 9-of-36 from the field. The positive for fantasy managers is that he kept the turnovers in check, committing three after racking up six two nights prior. A top 20 player in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, Harden has only been a top-75 player in nine-cat thanks to an average of 5.3 turnovers per game. Fantasy managers know what they’re getting with Harden; the hope is that the positives outweigh the negatives. That didn’t happen on Sunday.

Dunn’s steals production was lackluster on Sunday compared to prior games, as he only recorded one. However, the Clippers guard has reached double figures in scoring in three of his last four games. With Norman Powell injuring his hamstring in his first game back from a sore knee, Dunn may be locked into his place in the Clippers’ starting lineup for the foreseeable future. A top 50 player since the All-Star break, Dunn is rostered in 18 percent of Yahoo! leagues. He’s worth a roll of the dice, especially with the Clippers playing four games during Week 18.

Leonard recorded his first 30-point game of the season on Sunday, shooting over 50 percent from the field and recording a double-double. The Clippers forward has provided top-50 value in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, and he hasn’t reached his ceiling yet. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the Clippers’ four-game Week 18 begins with a back-to-back. As a result, Leonard will likely be limited to three games.

Making his first appearance since before the All-Star break, Powell only played nine minutes on Sunday before having to exit with a sore right hamstring. The only positive is that his knee didn’t flare up, as that was the issue that kept him out of the Clippers’ first five games out of the break. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Amir Coffey will play more minutes off the bench with Powell done for the night.

Powell is back after a five-game absence with a knee injury. The Clippers will be without Derrick Jones Jr. (groin), so Powell’s return will not result in Kris Dunn returning to the bench. Dunn is worth streaming in deep leagues for managers needing steals.

Harris is away from the Pistons for personal reasons and will not play on Monday. This will be his first missed game since December 16, and Malik Beasley is a potential replacement in the starting lineup. Beasley has played well recently and was already worth adding in some 12-team leagues. Harris’ absence raises his fantasy ceiling.

Simmons was underwhelming in his first meeting with the Lakers as a Clipper with two points, three assists, and three rebounds. Nicolas Batum will likely get a surge in minutes if Simmons can’t suit up for round two on Sunday.

Harris has shot 50 percent or better from the field in four straight and nine of his last 10 games. Since February 7, the veteran forward has averaged 17.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.3 three-pointers per game, shooting 58.3 percent from the field and 92.9 percent from the foul line. That production has been good for fourth-round value in nine-cat formats. Harris may not be the flashiest fantasy option, but he has provided consistent middle-round value as a fixture in the Pistons’ starting lineup.

Cunningham didn’t score as much as he’s capable of Saturday night, but the Pistons’ offensive balance had much to do with that. Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris and Malik Beasley scored 18 points apiece for the Pistons, who notched their 34th win of the season. Not only are those the most wins Detroit’s amassed in a season since 2018-19 (41 wins), but this is also the first time since that year they’ve won at least 25 games. Cunningham has led the way for the much-improved Pistons, and fantasy managers have also reaped the rewards. Over the past two weeks, he has provided top-10 value in eight-cat formats.

Duren was fantastic on Saturday, recording his fifth double-double in seven games and a career-high six blocked shots. How out of the ordinary were the six rejections? Duren amassed a total of six in his previous 10 appearances. Over the past two weeks, he has been a third-round player in eight- and nine-cat formats. Of course, Isaiah Stewart (three points, four rebounds, one assist and four blocks in 14 minutes) getting into foul trouble led to Duren playing 30 minutes (or more) for just the fifth time since the beginning of February. He’s been good recently, but Duren managers should keep their expectations in check for a four-game Week 18.

The good news for fantasy managers is that Beasley extended his streak of games with at least three three-pointers to 10 games before getting ejected from Saturday’s showdown. Shooting 6-of-10 from the field, Beasley finished with 18 points, one assist and five three-pointers in 24 minutes off the bench. The Pistons begin a four-game Week 18 on Monday against the Jazz, and Beasley is worth rostering while he remains hot.

Jones Jr. was available to play 29 minutes against the Lakers on Friday, but he will be sidelined on Sunday. However, Norman Powell (knee) is probable, so he should fill Jones Jr.'s spot in the starting unit, which means that Kris Dunn will also remain in the starting lineup.

Having missed the Clippers’ last five games, Powell is probable for Sunday night. With Derrick Jones Jr. (groin) out, Kris Dunn may be able to stay in the starting lineup if Powell plays. Dunn isn’t an elite offensive option, but he has provided excellent steals production in recent games.

A former first-round pick by the Bucks in 2022, Beauchamp was acquired by the Clippers in a trade for Kevin Porter Jr. prior to the deadline. Now Los Angeles is waiving the 24-year-old small forward in a housekeeping move to open a roster spot for Jordan Miller, who was given a standard contract.

The Clippers are waiving MarJon Beauchamp to make room for Miller on the active roster.

Not thought to be much of a factor offensively, Dunn shot 6-of-7 from the field and scored 14 points in the first half. Add in another night of causing mayhem defensively and providing value in the rebound and assist categories, and Dunn showed why he’s worth rostering in deep leagues. Rostered in 13 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has been a third-round player in eight-cat formats over the past three weeks. At a minimum, fantasy managers should stream Dunn until Norman Powell (knee) is cleared to return.

Harden had a brutal night in the Clippers’ first game at Crypto.com Arena since leaving for their palatial digs in Inglewood. He shot 1-of-10 from three and was responsible for six turnovers, and the 4-of-12 night from two didn’t do fantasy managers any favors, either. However, despite the efficiency concerns, Harden has been close to a first-round player in 12-team, eight-cat formats over the past three weeks. Managers who must be mindful of the turnover count would like to see Harden take better care of the basketball, but we all know who he is at this stage in his career.

Leonard had an uncharacteristically poor night at the foul line, making only two of his six attempts. However, more important for fantasy managers is that his playing time continues to increase, as he played a season-high 37 minutes. In the six games he’s played since being allowed to play 32 minutes or more, the Klaw has been a top 50 player in eight-cat formats. Leonard hasn’t been as valuable in nine-cat formats due to an average of 3.0 turnovers per game, but that isn’t something to lose sleep over.

Recording his third double-double in as many games, Zubac tallied a season-high 27 points on Friday. And the 16 rebounds were the most in a game for him since January 29, when he corralled 22 in a win over the Spurs. Since the All-Star break, Zubac has provided second-round value in nine-cat formats, averaging 18.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 blocks per game. And given the Lakers’ lack of credible deterrents at the center position, Sunday’s rematch could be another showcase for Zubac.

Thompson left Wednesday’s game against the Celtics late with what appeared to be a nasty leg injury. The 22-year-old small forward was merely dealing with a cramp and wasn’t even listed on the injury report ahead of Friday’s game. Thompson appeared to be fine Friday as his trademark defense resulted in five steals for the second game in a row. The potential is there for Thompson to be a fantasy stud, but he hasn’t provided much scoring in this last three games.

Cunningham has been carrying the Pistons lately as Detroit had won eight games in a row entering play Friday. The 23-year-old point guard was due for a bad game and he struggled against a Nuggets team that won the championship two years ago. Cunningham’s 11 points were his lowest in a game all season long, but he’s been a top-15 player in fantasy over the last three weeks. He’ll look to bounce back Saturday against the Nets.

There was hope that Powell would be able to return after missing the last four games with a sore knee. Unfortunately, he’ll have to wait at least one more game to return to the court. Schroder and Fontecchio were initially probable for Friday’s game, so the status upgrades were expected. Schroder’s return after a one-game absence will likely bump Marcus Sasser out of the rotation. Coffey may not be scalding hot, but he’s on a good run. He’s reached double figures in six of his last seven outings, averaging 14.0 points per game. Unfortunately, Coffey has provided minimal value outside of points and percentages during this run. For that reason, he has only offered 13th-round value in nine-cat formats. That should explain why Coffey remains rostered in just two percent of Yahoo! leagues.

From a “ball security” standpoint, this wasn’t Harden’s best night, as his turnover count matched the assist tally (six). However, The Beard recorded his third 30-point game in the last five outings and has provided top-10 value since February 13. As long as fantasy managers are in a position where they can withstand the high-turnover nights, Harden will be immensely valuable in category leagues.

After missing two games with a foot injury, Leonard played 33 minutes back in the lineup and recorded a complete stat line in Chicago. The point total wasn’t groundbreaking, but fantasy managers can benefit from the rebounds, assists and steals. In the five games he’s played since being cleared to exceed 30 minutes, Leonard has provided top-30 value in eight-cat formats. The concern for fantasy managers regarding Kawhi is back-to-backs, especially with the Clippers scheduled to play two during the default playoff weeks (20 through 22) in Yahoo! public leagues.

Cunningham didn’t shoot the ball as well as he’s capable of on Wednesday, but he still recorded his third points/assists double-double in four games. Over the past three weeks, the Pistons point guard has provided top-10 per-game value in eight-cat formats. And despite averaging 4.4 turnovers per game during this stretch, Cunningham has been a top-15 player in nine-cat. Cunningham continues to be one of the NBA’s most improved players, leading one of the biggest turnarounds in recent NBA history.

Thompson suffered an apparent leg injury during the fourth quarter, exiting with just under eight minutes remaining and not returning. However, the Pistons announcers described the issue as a cramp when announcing that Thompson would not return, so that’s good news.
