While Jaden Ivey was the pick to replace the injured Cade Cunningham in the Pistons’ lineup, the star guard’s absence also boosted Jenkins’ value in the short term. The second-year guard did not shoot the ball well, but he did rack up a career-high 15 assists. Jenkins, who is still on a two-way deal, has a limited long-term fantasy ceiling for that reason and Detroit’s perimeter depth. However, one can argue that he’s played well enough to deserve a standard deal, whether it’s in Detroit or elsewhere.

Cade Cunningham’s absence led to Ivey making his first start since he suffered a fractured fibula during a January 1, 2025, game against the Magic. He’s still on a minutes restriction, so the Pistons’ guard was unable to take full advantage of the opportunity. But Ivey did dish out four assists, with only Paul Reed (9/6/6/1 with one three-pointer) having more among the Pistons starters. Ivey still isn’t at the point where he should be rostered in most redraft leagues, and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.

With Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren out, Stewart’s fantasy value has received a boost recently. However, with Cade Cunningham also out on Wednesday, few envisioned Beef Stew putting on the performance that he did against the Bulls. He only missed three of his 17 shot attempts, finishing with his first 30-point game as a pro. Stewart only grabbed three rebounds, but the points, field-goal percentage and “stocks” more than compensate for that “deficiency.” Rostered in 22 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Stewart has offered sixth-round value in eight- and nine-cat formats over the past week.

The Pistons are without Cade Cunningham for Wednesday’s game, as he’s out with a wrist injury. Herro looked like his usual self coming off the bench in this one following an 11-game absence recovering from a right toe injury. He shot the ball well overall but was just 1-of-4 from three-point range in his first game action since December 9. It was an off night for Miami overall as they shot just 35.7 percent from the floor as a team and failed to break the century mark. It’s been a frustrating season for Herro, and fantasy managers, as injuries have limited to just seven games after he played 77 of 82 last year. He shouldn’t have too many restrictions from a minutes standpoint moving forward.

Green continues to play more minutes with Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris and Caris LeVert missing some time. The 32-year-old shooting guard isn’t worth rostering in most leagues, but in the right matchup he can score around 20 points and make 3-4 threes. Cunningham admitted in the postgame interview that there was something extra to the game because they were playing the Knicks for the first time since losing to them in last year’s playoffs. For the first time in four games, Thompson managed to crack double figures in the points category. And he’s been a disappointment in fantasy basketball thus far, sitting well outside the top-150 in eight-cat per-game value. For a player who many fantasy managers were banking on for top-100 value, the season has reached an uncomfortable point.
