Cunningham remained hot to help Detroit win a third straight game to enter the All-Star break. He was able to match his season high for three-pointers while also shooting efficiently from the floor. Reed got the starting nod with both Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart suspended for this game. He made an immediate impact on this game, contributing 16 points and three stocks in the first quarter without missing a shot in just the first quarter. He cooled off as the game progressed, but he was still incredibly productive. Stewart has six games left on his suspension, while Duren will only be sidelined for one more, which will be on Feb. 19 against the Knicks. Reed should get one more start and then play an increased role off the bench until Stewart returns.

The emotions of playing his first Knicks home game may have gotten the best of Alvarado in Tuesday’s loss to the Pacers. There were no such issues for the Brooklyn native on Wednesday, as he took over during the third and fourth quarters. Alvarado shot 8-of-13 from beyond the arc, dropping 26 points while showing why he’s nicknamed “Grand Theft Alvarado” with the five steals. And he recorded that stat line in just 19 minutes. With Miles McBride (core) possibly out until the postseason, Alvarado isn’t a bad pickup in deep leagues, even if nights like Wednesday won’t become the norm.

While Towns finished Tuesday’s overtime loss to the Pacers with a double-double, he was far more assertive on Wednesday. The Knicks’ improved ball movement may have been a factor, but the 7-footer deserves credit for the approach he took on both ends of the floor. That set the tone in what would be a 138-89 win, an excellent way for the Knicks to go into the All-Star break. Next up for Towns is an appearance in Sunday’s All-Star Game, where he’ll represent Team World.

After scoring 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting in Tuesday’s loss to the Pacers, Bridges did the same on Wednesday. However, he doubled his assist and steal numbers in the 138-89 demolition of the 76ers. While Bridges’ fantasy value has slipped some recently, with him providing seventh-round value over the past two weeks, he remains ranked safely within the top-50 in season-long value. Duren was suspended two games for initiating the altercation and fighting, according to a release from the NBA. The 22-year-old center started the altercation with the Hornets by shoving Moussa Diabate in the face with his open hand. Duren will begin serving his suspension Wednesday against the Raptors. He’ll still be able to participate in the All-Star despite his suspension.

Stewart, who was levied with the longest suspension stemming from the altercation between the Pistons and Hornets, was suspended for leaving the bench area, aggressively entering an on-court altercation and fighting, according to a release from the NBA. The 24-year-old power forward’s repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts was also a factor in the length of his suspension. He’ll begin serving his suspension Wednesday against the Raptors. After scoring five points in the Knicks’ February 4 double-overtime win over the Nuggets, Bridges has gotten back on track offensively. He’s hit double figures in three straight, with Tuesday’s tally being the highest for him since dropping 23 in a February 3 win over the Wizards. With OG Anunoby (toe) out, there has been a little more room for Bridges to assert himself offensively, and that’s a positive for fantasy managers who have him on their rosters.

Limited to 11 points in Sunday’s win over the Celtics, Towns doubled that tally on Tuesday while recording his 36th double-double of the season. Unfortunately for the Knicks, he wasn’t around for the latter stages of overtime, having fouled out with 2:14 remaining in the extra session. Indiana scored the first nine points of overtime, pushing their road record on the season to 4-22. Wednesday’s game against the Knicks is far more important to Towns and the Knicks, who need a win to avoid losing the season series. And they’ll need KAT to stay on the floor, especially if Joel Embiid plays.

Typically, Robinson’s impact comes from behind the three-point line. However, that wasn’t the case in this game. Reed was able to play a larger role for a second straight game. The first was because Jalen Duren (knee) was sidelined. For this one, it was because both Duren and Isaiah Stewart were ejected for their involvement in a brawl. Expect some suspensions to be handed out. The brawl started with Duren and Moussa Diabate getting tangled up, and every time it seemed like cooler heads would prevail, things escalated again.
