Fantasy managers in active leagues (and DFS tournaments) likely hoped to get more out of Holland on Sunday. The rookie did not provide much value as a starter, playing 23 minutes before giving way to players such as Lindy Waters III (18/5/1/1/1 with six three-pointers in 35 minutes) and even 17 minutes to the other Ron — Ron Harper Jr.. Holland will be in the Pistons’ rotation when the playoffs begin next weekend, but his playing time and value will be limited against the Knicks.

It doesn’t take much for Beasley to get rolling, and his hot shooting during the second and third quarters dragged the Pistons back into a game that was on its way to being a laugher. He shot 7-of-9 from three in those periods, appearing in fine form ahead of the Pistons’ first playoff appearance since 2019. Beasley’s name won’t be on the marquee for the first-round series against the Knicks, but he’s capable of being a factor. New York ranks 25th in the NBA in three-point percentage defense, which may be an area that Detroit can exploit.

Per usual, Sabonis was able to contribute a double-double in this game. He was able to record one before halftime as he entered the break with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Sabonis has played well recently, and after missing nine games in March (and exiting early from two others), it has been nice for him to be back out on the floor. Sacramento will wrap up the regular season against the Suns on Sunday. They have the same record as Dallas, who they will face in the Play-In Tournament. Who hosts the game will depend on how Sunday’s game goes, so managers should expect Sabonis to play a large role.

It was a rough first half for LaVine, but he was able to figure things out after the break. He scored 18 of his 26 points in the second half and 13 points in the final six minutes of the game. The ball didn’t go to him when the Kings had a chance to win it with two seconds left, which resulted in a loss that confirms they will finish the year with a losing record. They also now have the same record as the Mavericks and will need to beat the Suns on Sunday in order to host their Play-In matchup with Dallas next week.

The 21-year-old center is closing out the regular season on a high note as he’s provided seventh-round fantasy value over the last two months of the season. Fantasy managers will certainly take that after a slow start to the season. Duren isn’t a name fantasy managers should forget heading into drafts next season.

Cunningham had one of his most efficient scoring games of the year as he dropped 36 points on 21 shots against the Bucks Friday. The 23-year-old point guard did it all for the Pistons once again, dishing out 12 assists on his way to a double-double. Cade has put up 36 points in back-to-back games. Despite missing time with a calf issue in previous weeks, he seems to be feeling good with the Pistons one game away from a playoff series.

Schroder continues to start with Cade Cunningham (calf) out of the lineup. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, this hasn’t been the 31-year-old point guard’s very best stretch of play. Schroder was able to have a solid game with 16 points and seven assists, giving him four straight games with at least seven assists. Duren absolutely dominated the Raptors Friday with little resistance from the Toronto defense. The 21-year-old center had 21 points on 11 shots, pulled down 18 rebounds and had six assists. All without Cade Cunningham (calf) and Tobias Harris (Achilles) to take attention away from the defense. Duren also blocked four shots to cap a massive evening from the young big man. The four blocks are the most he’s had in a game since March 3 against the Jazz.

Facing one of the worst defenses in the NBA, he shot over 50 percent from the field, and the 17 points were the most in a game for Malik since March 20, before he missed three games due to an illness. Friday’s version of Monk is what the Kings and fantasy managers will need on Sunday when Sacramento ends Week 22 with a game in Cleveland.

LaVine’s fantasy value has tailed off considerably over the past two weeks, as he’s ranked outside the top 200 in nine-cat formats. The combination of limited defensive production and 3.1 turnovers per game have done him no favors during this stretch. While LaVine did not record any steals or blocks on Friday, the stat line was one of his best. In addition to the double-double, he racked up seven assists without committing a turnover. Fantasy managers will hope for a similar effort on Sunday when the Kings visit Cleveland.

He’s scored at least 21 points in five straight appearances, averaging 24.8 per while shooting 50.6 percent from the field. DeRozan’s overall production has only been good for sixth-round value during this stretch, but that’s due primarily to his limited defensive output. Usually fourth or fifth in the Kings’ offensive pecking order on most nights, Murray’s had to provide value in other areas. He finished Wednesday’s defeat with two steals and one blocked shot and has averaged 0.8 steals and 1.6 blocks over the past two weeks. That production is one of the reasons why he has offered top-25 value in nine-cat formats during this stretch. Sabonis took advantage of the matchup, but his team did not. Sacramento is now 1-4 since Sabonis returned, though he has grabbed at least 12 rebounds in each game. Unfortunately, he failed to record an assist despite playing 40 minutes. This was the fifth time in his career that he played at least 30 minutes and didn’t dish out at least one dime. This was Monk’s third game back from a three-game absence, and he remained in a reserve role for a third-straight game after being a consistent starter since December. He has really struggled since returning from an illness, and that continued in this game. He was able to somewhat make up for a terrible shooting performance with some rebound and assist production, but overall, it was another poor night as a reserve. Keon Ellis continues to start, and there is no reason to think that Monk will reclaim his starting role if he continues to play like this.
