Due to their many absences, the Pistons are rolling out a lineup that has shared the court for a total of zero minutes. Duren and Cade Cunningham were absent from Pistons shootaround Wednesday morning. The 21-year-old center sprained his ankle in the final minute of Monday’s overtime victory over the Wizards. With the Pistons dealing with a laundry list of other injuries, it would be no surprise if they gave their two young stars the night off Wednesday. Paul Reed would likely start if Duren is ruled out.

Coming off the bench for the second straight game, Collier was excellent in his 26 minutes. Not only did the second-year guard record his first double-double of the season, but he also committed only two turnovers. Collier’s ability to get others involved is what gives him value in deeper fantasy leagues, even if he continues to come off the bench. On Tuesday, he picked up the slack for starter Keyonte George (10/5/7), who shot 3-of-12 from the field. Given how well George has played overall, the starting point guard job should be his for the foreseeable future. However, as evidenced by Tuesday’s performance, that does not prohibit Collier from providing reliable fantasy value.

Bailey has hit double figures in three straight games, but Tuesday’s performance was his best by far. The rookie notched his first 20-point game and was efficient in doing so, shooting over 50 percent from the field and only committing one turnover. While some fantasy managers may lament the lack of defensive stats, Bailey entered Tuesday with totals of six steals and one blocked shot. For now, hope that the rookie can continue to put forth efficient offensive outings in his new role.

The shorthanded Pacers had no answer for Markkanen, as he recorded his first 30-point game since Halloween. After a four-game run in which he scored at least 32 points in each outing, the Jazz forward entered Tuesday averaging 21.4 points on 38.5 percent shooting in his last five. Markkanen may not have provided much value outside of the points, three-pointers and percentages, but most fantasy managers will take this performance. Utah still has two games remaining on its Week 4 schedule, beginning with the Hawks on Thursday.

The probable tag suggests that Cunningham’s left hip contusion is not severe enough to keep him out of the lineup for Wednesday’s game. Robinson has made multiple three-pointers in eight of his ten games this season, with Sunday’s tally of four matching his previous high. On most nights, he’s essentially a points and three-pointers option for fantasy managers, so there isn’t much value to be had when the shots aren’t falling. However, Robinson recorded three steals against the 76ers, matching his total entering Sunday. Hendricks got his first start of the season and ended up being one of Utah’s most productive players. While Kessler did his usual work on the glass Friday night, his offensive production was underwhelming. He’s had two offensive duds, the first being a three-point effort against the Kings on October 24. While he didn’t provide any defensive production on Friday, fantasy managers don’t roster Markkanen for that reason. It’s the offense, and he’s been on fire to start the season. “The Finnisher” has 32 points or more in four straight games, including a 51-point effort against the Suns on Monday. Markkanen attempted 12 fewer shots on Friday than in the first matchup between the teams, but still dropped 30-plus. Sunday’s matchup with the Hornets could be good for him, as Charlotte is 26th in defensive rating.
