George knocked down five of 10 attempts from beyond the arc, finishing just shy of his second 30-point outing of the season. It was an impressive individual showing, but it wasn’t enough to keep Washington from dropping its 11th straight game, falling to 1-12 on the year. The 21-year-old has averaged 19.7 points over his last three contests, performing at roughly a fifth-round level for fantasy purposes during that stretch. The Wizards will attempt to turn things around this week when they face the Timberwolves, Raptors and Bulls in road tilts.

There simply weren’t a ton of bright spots for the Wizards in this one as McCollum was one of just three Wizards in double figures during a one-sided defeat at the hands of the rebuilding Nets. Even with Isaiah Stewart back from injury, Reed got the start with Jalen Duren (ankle) still out. The 26-year-old center didn’t have 28 points again like he did Wednesday, but he was still a factor on the glass with eight rebounds and on defense with two steals and three blocks. While George didn’t produce the best field-goal percentage on Wednesday, fantasy managers will undoubtedly take the rebounds, assists and steals. Unsurprisingly, Sarr struggled on the glass against Cleveland’s tandem of Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. However, the second-year center shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded four blocks, continuing to make strides on both ends of the floor. Having shot 3-of-19 from the field and 1-of-10 from three in his two previous games, McCollum was looking to snap out of that funk. Mission accomplished, as he shot 50 percent from the field and led the Wizards in scoring. Thirteen of his 16 shot attempts were from beyond the arc, and he has a three-point attempt rate of nearly 55 percent through nine games. While it’s still early in the 2025-26 season, Sarr’s progress from Year 1 to Year 2 has been impressive.
