Curry is available for Sunday’s game, which is the first game of a back-to-back against the Timberwolves after the NBA pushed Saturday’s game back. While some players are sure to miss at least one of the games, Curry isn’t in that category. The 37-year-old point guard is available for a rematch from last year’s playoffs against Minnesota.

Kuminga injured his left knee and left ankle during Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks. If there’s a positive, it’s that the hyperextension of his left knee did not cause any ligament damage. The Warriors will announce a timeline for return at a later date, so fantasy managers should consider Kuminga to be out indefinitely.

Melton is good to go after being listed as questionable. Sunday’s game is the first of two matchups between the Warriors and Timberwolves in as many nights, and Melton has yet to play both ends of a back-to-back this season. Don’t be surprised if he doesn’t suit up on Monday.

Horford was initially questionable for Sunday’s rescheduled game. He’ll provide added frontcourt depth off the bench, but is unlikely to deliver the value needed to impact fantasy basketball. Horford has not played both games of a back-to-back this season, so those who have him rostered should assume that the veteran center/forward won’t play in Monday’s rematch.

The NBA’s decision to push Saturday’s game back a day has created a back-to-back, so a few of the Warriors’ veterans are back on the injury report. Curry did play both games of the Warriors’ most recent back-to-back (January 19-20), so he isn’t a lock to miss one of the two matchups with the Timberwolves. If he sits, the Warriors will have to rely even more on Brandin Podziemski, De’Anthony Melton and Buddy Hield.

Diabaté again started ahead of Ryan Kalkbrenner against the Wizards on Saturday. The 24-year-old center also played the majority of the center minutes with 32 minutes played to Kalkbrenner’s 16 and it’s no mystery as to why given their respective production Saturday. The pair of centers continue to handle the center minutes, though it’s anyone’s guess who will lead the team in minutes on a given night. Kalkbrenner’s fantasy value would have better standing if Diabaté’s role was diminished in any way.

The 23-year-old small forward is averaging 23.7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game, 4.0 assists per game and 3.2 three-pointers per game over his last six games. Ball played 32 minutes for the first time in 12 days, a span of five games. The 24-year-old had 20 points on 19 field goal attempts, but his real value came from setting up teammates. Kalkbrenner came off the bench in the Hornets’ win over the Magic on Thursday, but the 24-year-old rookie center played 27 minutes compared to starter Moussa Diabate’s 16 minutes. The Hornets’ Twitter account initially had Kalkbrenner in Saturday’s starting lineup, before correctly showing Diabate as the starter. Both centers will likely still play Saturday, but if Charlotte continues to give Kalkbrenner more minutes he could move into the starting lineup eventually.

Kalkbrenner was originally listed as probable with a wrist injury, so it’s no surprise he’s available for Saturday’s game. The 24-year-old rookie center had 10 points and nine rebounds in 27 minutes off the bench in the Hornets’ win over the Magic on Thursday. Kuminga exited Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks during the first half after injuring his left knee on a drive to the basket. However, according to Stein, the injury also affected Kuminga’s left ankle. Thursday’s injury will significantly impact how the Warriors approach the trade deadline, especially if Kuminga is out for an extended period.

For those questioning whether they should grab Melton off the waiver wire, Thursday’s performance should be a convincing one. He needed 23 minutes off the bench to record a complete stat line, and he’s scored at least 23 points in three of his last five appearances. While Melton remains outside the top-150 in season-long value, that was influenced by the time he missed at the start of the season. With Jimmy Butler III (knee) done for the season, the reward outweighs the risk when it comes to adding Melton.

With Jimmy Butler III (knee) done for the season and Jonathan Kuminga (knee) leaving Thursday’s game during the first half, the Warriors needed even more production from Curry. The 27 shot attempts were one shy of his season-high, and the 38 points were the most he’s scored in a game since a December 28 loss to the Raptors. Miller got hot late in the third quarter and scored 11 points over the final six minutes of the frame. He didn’t do any more scoring in the fourth quarter, but he didn’t need to due to the lopsided score. This was his fifth straight game scoring at least 20 points, which is his longest stretch of the season. He has shot the ball more efficiently in recent weeks, which has helped his value. Sexton has been a consistent source of offense off the bench for the Hornets this season, but that hasn’t led to much production for fantasy managers. However, he was incredibly efficient in this game, which led to his highest field goal percentage in a game this year. Sexton hasn’t been worth rostering in standard leagues this season, and that won’t change just because of one solid performance. Unless he’s starting consistently, he should be left on the waiver wire in standard leagues.

He didn’t stay that hot, but he was back in the starting lineup after coming off the bench on Wednesday. He logged 28 minutes after playing 22 minutes on Wednesday. There weren’t many who believed Warriors head coach Steve Kerr when he said after Monday’s win over the Heat that he could turn to Kuminga if need be, with Jimmy Butler III (knee) done for the season. Well, Kuminga checked into Tuesday’s game at the start of the second quarter and provided excellent contributions in his 21 minutes. The Warriors forward scored 12 points in the third quarter alone, helping make the game somewhat competitive after Golden State fell behind by 29. With Kuminga get legitimate chances to contribute? Or will this be a “shop window” phase in which the team looks to boost his trade value ahead of the February 5 deadline? Regardless of the answer, Kuminga getting the chance to play is huge after being shelved for 16 straight.

After dropping a season-high 24 points in Monday’s win over the Heat, Podziemski was probably due to cool down. He moved into the starting lineup on Tuesday, and the overall stat line was modest. With Jimmy Butler III (knee) done for the season, it was “all hands on deck” for the Warriors on Tuesday. Hield, who has been in the rotation the last three games, recorded season-highs in points and three-pointers against the Raptors. The sharpshooter was a perfect 6-of-6 from beyond the arc, and while duplicating that feat in future games will be challenging, Hield can return to fantasy relevance.
