Castle did not record a season-high point total on Thursday, but one can argue that this was his best all-around performance. The reigning Rookie of the Year shot over 50 percent from the field and recorded a complete stat line while committing a season-low two turnovers. In San Antonio’s first four games, Castle was responsible for at least five turnovers in each. His role will change once De’Aaron Fox recovers fully from his hamstring injury. Still, the key for Castle will be efficiency, regardless of who’s available.

Butler, who’s scored at least 20 points in five of Golden State’s first six games, recorded his first double-double of the season on Thursday. He’s looked sharp and motivated thus far, which is a good sign for the Warriors and fantasy managers with Butler on their rosters. His Yahoo! ADP of 50 may have been conservative, but with good reason. So far, those who were willing to draft Butler are benefiting from their decision to do so.

While Kuminga has averaged at least 15 points per game each of the last three seasons, the 2025-26 season has a different feel thus far. His role is solidified, which has led to Kuminga better navigating the balance of getting his offense and understanding that things still revolve around Stephen Curry. Rostered in 49 percent of Yahoo! leagues, Kuminga is providing middle-round value in 12-team formats. Now would be a good time for some holdouts to grab JK off the waiver wire if he’s available.

Curry led the Warriors in scoring on Thursday, getting back over the 20-point mark after totaling 35 in the previous two games. He’s averaging 27.0 points per game through six games and providing top-10 value in nine-cat formats. And Curry has done this despite his playing time decreasing slightly. He’s averaging 31.1 minutes per game, which would be Curry’s lowest average since the 2011-12 season (not counting the 2019-20 season in which he played five games). With the Warriors’ goal being to ensure that Curry’s healthy and fresh for the stretch run, some fantasy managers may be concerned. There’s no need to be.

While he’s yet to miss a full game this season, Johnson did exit Monday’s win over the Timberwolves during the fourth quarter due to right shoulder inflammation. On Wednesday, he only attempted four shots in Denver’s blowout of the Pelicans, so the injury may still be an issue. Johnson is probable to play, but fantasy managers should plan for limited production.

Playing their second game in as many nights, the Warriors were able to manage the minutes of their key players due to the nature of Tuesday’s victory. Butler and Draymond Green (7/7/4/3 with one three-pointer) were the only players to hit or exceed 30 minutes, and both were done by about the five-minute mark in the fourth quarter. Through five games, Butler is providing third-round value in nine-cat formats, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP of 50.

Kuminga’s production on Tuesday was modest, but that doesn’t erase the fact that he’s gotten off to a good start. Rostered in 47 percent of Yahoo! leagues, he has provided top-100 value over the first week of the regular season. And Kuminga has made a positive impression on Warriors head coach Steve Kerr. Kerr was complimentary of the forward before Tuesday’s game, saying that JK will retain his place in the starting lineup “going forward.” That’s good news for Kuminga and the fantasy managers who hoped he could lock down a consistent role.

While fantasy managers may not have been thrilled with Curry’s final stat line, the Warriors were probably over the moon that he only needed to play 26 minutes in the second game of a back-to-back. The sharpshooter was efficient, and the assists and steals will undoubtedly boost those competing in category leagues. Golden State hits the road for a two-game road trip, finishing Week 2 with games against the Bucks and Pacers.

Moody knocked off the rust in his second game back in the lineup to log his first 20-point game of the season. He shot the ball efficiently in his 22 minutes of game action and produced a very strong 12-point third quarter to help Golden State build a double-digit lead and a nice cushion the rest of the way. Podziemski utilized the three-point shot to conclude the victory as one of four Warriors to score at least 20 points on Monday. Kuminga had a productive outing against the Grizzlies on Monday. Murray was productive over the first two quarters of Monday’s contest, but hadn’t put his fingerprints on the game in any significant way to that point. Horford remains on a plan that has him sitting out one game of back-to-backs. With Tuesday’s game against the Clippers being a nationally televised matchup, the veteran center not playing on Monday is unsurprising. After an inefficient triple-double in the season opener, Jokic was far more efficient in this one. He only missed two shots. That’s easier to do when you only take eight shots. Jokic’s unique ability to completely dominate games without shooting often is incredible. He only took one shot in the first half, and he ended up recording the eighth triple-double of his career where he took eight or fewer shots. One of the bright spots for the Warriors’ offense on Friday was their ability to produce from the three-point line. Green trailed only Stephen Curry in total made threes on the night and has now made six threes this season. On the second night of a back-to-back, the former league MVP dazzled from beyond the arc and scored efficiently overall before finishing with his second straight game of at least 35 points. This was a strong way to start the year off for Murray, who had a Yahoo! ADP of 37.3. He only had five double-doubles all of last season. Of course, Jokic started off the year with a triple-double. This was the second straight season that he recorded a triple-double in the season opener. Gordon had an unreal start to this game, making his first eight attempts from beyond the arc. He ended up setting a new career-high for both points and three-pointers, with the 10th triple giving Denver a lead late in the fourth before Stephen Curry forced overtime. Gordon only added five more points in the extra frame, with two of those coming after the game was all but over. It was a monster performance that was wasted in the loss, though that aspect won’t matter for fantasy managers. Watson had at least nine points for the fourth time in five games this preseason. The 23-year-old guard started Friday as the Nuggets rested their usual starting lineup. While Oklahoma City’s starting lineup for Friday’s game likely aligns with the group that will be on the floor for its regular-season opener, that is not the case for the Nuggets.
