Sunday’s production was in line with what many fantasy managers hope to see from Butler consistently. The veteran forward finished with his first 30-point game since December 18 and fourth of the season. Over the past two weeks, Butler has offered third-round value in eight-cat formats, so he hasn’t been struggling. That said, the elite performances that he was able to produce when at his peak in the past have not been there consistently this season.

Curry and Jimmy Butler III were responsible for 61 of the Warriors’ 111 points, but it wasn’t enough to avoid watching the final few minutes from the bench in a 13-point loss. He’s now scored 31 points in three of his last five appearances while offering top-10 per-game value in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. The Warriors open a three-game Week 13 on Tuesday against Portland.

Antetokounmpo fell two boards shy of his first triple-double of the season, recording a monster all-around performance as Milwaukee fell to 17-22 overall on the year. The omnipresent trade chatter will likely ramp up in the coming weeks, especially if the Bucks continue to struggle. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar, who has scored at least 30 points in five of his last six games, is averaging 29.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks through 25 games this season. The Bucks are back in action with a quick two-game week that features matchups against the Timberwolves and Spurs.

Turner, who knocked down 3-of-4 from three-point range in this one, has been an afterthought for fantasy purposes in his Bucks debut, topping 20 points just five times through 39 games. He’s averaging just 12.4 points and 5.3 rebounds during that span after finishing at 15.6 points and 6.5 boards last year in his final season with the Pacers.

Porter is dealing with a right hip contusion, but the good news is that he’s probable on the Bucks’ initial injury report. If he’s unable to play, Gary Trent Jr. could be the replacement in the starting lineup, while Ryan Rollins will take on a larger role as Milwaukee’s primary playmaker.

Portis has now recorded six double-doubles this season, with all having been recorded since December 14. Over the past month, the Bucks’ forward has offered top-75 per-game value in eight-cat formats. By comparison, Myles Turner (eight points, six rebounds and two three-pointers) has not been a top-150 player during this period. The combination of Portis’ production and the underwhelming return offered by Turner makes the former worth the risk in some 12-team leagues.

Giannis came up with the biggest defensive play of Friday’s game, as he poked the ball away from LeBron James in the final seconds to prevent the Lakers’ forward from attempting a potential game-tying layup. While Antetokounmpo’s shot volume was low, he shot the ball efficiently from the field and the foul line. Having seemingly put to rest any rumors regarding his future in Milwaukee, the question now is what (if anything) the Bucks will look to do to strengthen the roster around Antetokounmpo before the trade deadline. Regardless of the answer, he’ll still provide excellent fantasy value.

After returning from a sprained ankle that sidelined him for over a month, Porter has exceeded the expectations of many fantasy managers. The Bucks’ guard has been a top-20 player in eight- and nine-cat formats, well above his Yahoo! ADP (109). On Friday, Porter joined Giannis Antetokounmpo as the only Bucks players with at least 20 points, and he recorded a complete stat line with solid percentages. Rostered in 71 percent of Yahoo! leagues, KPJ is worth scooping up if available in shallow leagues.

Having recorded back-to-back 20-point games for the first time since mid-December, Butler could not extend that run to three on Friday. While the rebounds and assists were solid, this is part of the issue for fantasy managers. While capable of doing a lot more, many nights feel as if he hasn’t done much more than what’s required. The fantasy ranking may be good, but one can’t blame managers for lamenting what they’re missing on most nights regarding Butler’s production.

A big part of Melton’s fantasy appeal is his ability to record complete stat lines. That didn’t happen on Friday, but the Warriors’ guard had one of his best offensive performances of the season. The 19 points were three shy of his season-high, which was recorded on Wednesday against the Bucks. Melton has been a safe bet for assists and defensive stats in the past, so there isn’t too much need for concern following Friday’s lack of numbers in those categories. And he played 19 minutes; if Melton can consistently get closer to 25 minutes, he can be a game-changer down the stretch in fantasy leagues.

Curry and the Warriors pulled away with a dominant fourth quarter, outscoring the Kings by a 40-19 margin and winning by a 137-104 final score. And he didn’t make a shot during the final frame, missing both of his attempts and then watching the final four-plus minutes from the bench. Curry did enough before the fourth quarter to offer solid value, and he finished with a season-high 10 assists and his second double-double of the season. Over the past two weeks, Curry has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats.

Melton’s season-best performance wasn’t highlighted by any extraordinary takeover moments. The veteran guard never scored more than eight points in any quarter; instead, he picked his spots en route to setting a new season-high. Melton got a late start to the season due to a knee injury that kept him out until December. But since returning, he’s had several good scoring performances to boost this Warriors bench. He’ll have a chance to follow up his Wednesday performance with another strong one on Friday against the Kings.

Butler notched back-to-back 20-point games for the first time since mid-December, making use of the free-throw line to accomplish such. Thirteen of his points came in the second half to help the Warriors maintain their double-digit halftime lead, and Butler didn’t make any other noteworthy contributions in this game from a statistical standpoint. His scoring did the heavy lifting for his fantasy production.

One game after fouling out against the Clippers, Curry went without a foul on Wednesday and logged 34 minutes against the Bucks. On the court, the two-time MVP shot the ball very well from the floor and posted a 13-point third quarter to help ultimately reach the 30-point mark on the evening. Curry also tied a team-high in assists and committed just one turnover in the process. He’ll get a chance to have a great impact again when he faces the Kings on Friday for the first time this season.

Rollins followed up a relatively mediocre performance against the Kings with a pretty solid outing on Wednesday against the Warriors. By way of efficient shooting, he concluded as Milwaukee’s second-leading scorer, and he also finished second on the team in total rebounds. Add in Rollins’ contributions as a passer, and his pair of three-pointers, and you get what was a productive performance as far as fantasy basketball goes. He’ll have a chance to log another productive game on Friday against the Lakers.

Porter Jr. put together another productive performance as the Bucks’ lead guard. As usual, he was an effective passer — leading his team in assists on Wednesday — and he also shot the ball efficiently before finishing as Milwaukee’s third leading scorer. A lack of free-throw attempts prevented him from scoring more points. Nonetheless, Porter Jr. continues to fit nicely alongside AJ Green and Ryan Rollins at the guard position in the Bucks’ starting unit.

Antetokounmpo played 31 minutes on Wednesday and collected his fourth straight 30-point double-double. Efficient shooting keyed his success, and a pair of three-pointers also added to his overall fantasy production on the night. Stephen Curry fouled out with less than a minute left, which meant that the game-winning shot responsibility fell to Butler. He came up short, but he still had a productive stat line in the loss. Butler has been a reliable option for the Warriors this year, and he has been available, which has been an issue for him in the past. Unfortunately, Curry’s typical late-game heroics were cut short. Right after he hit back-to-back three-pointers, Curry committed his sixth foul, which sent him to the sidelines to watch the final 43 seconds of the game. He was still able to lead the Warriors in scoring and have a productive night, but he wasn’t able to get his team the win. It was a subpar shooting night, but he hit the big shots when they mattered. Usually, the approach of having Giannis earn his points at the foul line results in him leaving some points on the board, given his poor shooting at the free-throw line. Well, that approach didn’t work for the Kings, as he made 11 of his 13 attempts on the night. Add in an elite shooting performance from the field, and the Bucks superstar finished with his third 30-point double-double in as many appearances.
