Thybulle has able to do some shooting and ball handling work, but it appears that he isn’t that close to a return. He was set to be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks after injuring his thumb in the season opener, but even when he returns, he won’t make a significant impact on the rotation.

Holiday has not appeared in a game since November 14. While he was due for a re-evaluation early next week, interim head coach Thiago Splitter said on Saturday that the veteran guard is still limited to non-contact work. Holiday’s absence has led to Deni Avdija spending more time as the primary playmaker, raising his fantasy ceiling.

Payton exited Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets during the first half with a sprained left ankle. The time off appears to have done him some good, as the guard is considered probable for Saturday. With Stephen Curry (quad) out, there may be a few more minutes available to GPII. However, his offensive skill set is limited, so fantasy managers should not expect Payton to benefit too much.

Saturday’s game against the Pelicans is the first of two that the Warriors will play before hitting the road for a four-game trip that begins in Philadelphia on December 4. Melton has not appeared in a game since suffering a torn left ACL last November, but that may change during the road trip. Given the amount of time missed, his minutes will likely be restricted when the time comes. However, if Melton can carve out a role for himself, he’s capable of providing solid fantasy value.

Curry suffered a right quad contusion during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Rockets. He did his best to play through the injury but was clearly struggling, and the Warriors removed him from the contest in the final minute. With the reported timeline, Curry will miss at least two games before being re-evaluated, starting with Saturday’s game against the Pelicans. Brandin Podziemski filled in the last time Curry missed a game, and that may be the course of action in this situation as well. Sharpe returned from a four-game absence, came off the bench and finished as Portland’s third-leading scorer on Wednesday. He failed to make an impact from beyond the arc but was efficient and productive on his two-point attempts. The fourth-year guard pulled down a handful of boards in his 22 minutes, as well, but didn’t have much impact elsewhere. Wednesday’s outing marked his lowest of the season from a minutes and scoring standpoint. It’ll be worth monitoring how Sharpe is utilized going forward — he was averaging 30 points in the five games prior to returning on Wednesday.

On the heels of a 35-point outing against the Bucks, Grant failed to recapture his shooting touch on Wednesday. Against the Spurs, he didn’t make a three-pointer and shot below 30 percent from the field on nearly 20 shot attempts. Still, he managed to finish as the team’s second-leading scorer on a night in which only one Trail Blazer scored more than 13 points. Portland will need Grant to be productive going forward, given the team’s injuries. He’ll have a chance to bounce back against the Thunder on Sunday.

Avdija set a new season-high in scoring on Wednesday, using the three-point shot and accurate shooting inside the arc to achieve it. Six missed free throws prevented the versatile forward from reaching the 40-point mark, and his six turnovers also likely cost him a few shot attempts. However, he also tallied a team-high in assists against the Spurs before the final buzzer sounded. Avidja has been Portland’s most productive player thus far, which shouldn’t change as the season progresses.

Green was one of Golden State’s most impactful players on Wednesday. He was one of six Warriors to score in double figures, using efficient three-point shooting to help reach that mark. Additionally, the veteran forward led the Warriors in rebounds and assists, while concluding as one of the best shot blockers on the evening. One of the only blemishes in this game was Green’s five turnovers. Regardless, he had a strong two-way performance overall.

Despite making just six shots, Butler finished Wednesday’s game as the Warriors’ leading scorer. Free-throw production was a key part of his success, complementing his efficient shooting inside and outside the arc. The veteran forward also found production as a facilitator, and his zero turnovers made his facilitating even more impressive. Butler has been a productive player in his first full season with Golden State, and that should continue moving forward.

Curry had only tallied 12 points through the first three quarters of Wednesday’s game and had committed four turnovers in that span. He didn’t get much going after entering near the seven-minute mark of the fourth quarter — he totaled just two more points and a pair of turnovers the rest of the way before exiting late in the quarter with a quad injury and not returning. The lower scoring total marked the end of Curry’s three-game streak of at least 30 points. More importantly, he’ll undergo an MRI, leaving his status for Saturday’s game against the Pelicans unknown.

Curry knocked down six three-pointers on his way to a fifth 30-point performance in his last six games. Golden State — missing defensive anchor Draymond Green due to a sprained right foot — opened the night in an 11-0 hole before ripping off a 17-3 run and exploding for 41 points in the second quarter to take a commanding 67-55 lead into halftime. The 37-year-old generational talent is averaging a sublime 28.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, four assists, 1.4 steals and 0.5 blocks through 15 games. Having tweaked his left ankle during Friday’s win over the Warriors, Clingan’s availability for both games of Portland’s ensuing back-to-back was good news for the Trail Blazers and fantasy managers. After providing minimal value in Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, the second-year center recorded his fifth double-double of the season in Milwaukee. By comparison, Clingan had eight double-doubles his entire rookie season. In addition to pestering Milwaukee’s Ryan Rollins defensively for most of the night, Camara finished Monday’s victory with a complete stat line. The third-year forward has been close to a top-100 player in eight-cat formats over the past two weeks. Since the Trail Blazers lost Jrue Holiday to a calf injury, Avdija has averaged 23.2 points and 7.0 assists per game. Grant doesn’t offer much as a rebounder, but the increased scoring is why he’s a top-100 player in nine-cat formats.
