LaVine missed Wednesday’s game against the Cavaliers for personal reasons but is available to play against his old team. He should slot back into his usual role. Whether he’ll be extra motivated against Chicago remains to be seen, but his numbers have taken a slight dip across the board since being traded to Sacramento.

With Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) and Zach LaVine (personal) unavailable, the Kings effectively went with a seven-man rotation Wednesday night. The good news for Doug Christie is that both reserves, Carter and Trey Lyles, were productive. Carter scored a season-high 16 points and provided solid value in the rebound, assists and steals categories. Lyles added 13 points, seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and one three-pointer in 30 minutes. With Sabonis out for at least a week and LaVine’s status for Thursday’s game against the Bulls undetermined, Carter and Lyles could be worthy of a look in deep leagues.

Monk has scored 20 points or more in two straight and three of his last five outings. On Wednesday, he recorded a complete stat line, including eight assists, the most he’s had in a game since March 3. Over the past two weeks, Monk has been a top 75 player in eight-cat formats. And it is not unreasonable to expect him to maintain that production level for the remainder of the season.

Ellis replaced Zach LaVine (personal) in the Kings’ starting lineup Wednesday night and did not miss a shot. He made all four field goal attempts and shot 2-of-2 from the foul line, reaching double figures in scoring for the second time in six games. Even if LaVine is available for Thursday’s game against the Bulls, Ellis is well-positioned to provide additional fantasy value due to Domantas Sabonis’ (hamstring) absence. At a minimum, those who added Keon should hold onto him through the end of Week 20.

With the Kings playing without Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine, they needed DeRozan to step up offensively. Deebo answered the call, shooting better than 50 percent from the field in 36 minutes on the court. The Kings wing has scored 22 points or more in four straight games, and he stands to have even more opportunities with Sabonis out for at least 10 days. The Kings end Week 20 with games against the Bulls and Bucks.

Curry will be available after sitting out Tuesday’s win over the Bucks. With Brandin Podziemski returning in that contest, Curry’s availability will likely result in Moses Moody heading to the bench. Despite Brandin Podziemski returning from a back injury on Tuesday, Hield still had room to provide value since Stephen Curry was out. He hit four three-pointers, the third time in five games Hield has made that many or more. Ranked outside the top 175 in eight-cat formats since the All-Star break, Buddy is essentially a specialist in category leagues. He’s still rostered in 30 percent of Yahoo! leagues, which is a fair number given the limited production outside of points and three-pointers.

Green had a rough night shooting the ball but did everything else for the Warriors on Tuesday. He hit double figures in rebounds for the first time since March 3, and his last two games have been elite from a defensive production standpoint. With Stephen Curry unavailable for Tuesday’s game, the basketball was in Butler’s hands more often. And fantasy managers undoubtedly benefitted, as Butler finished two rebounds shy of a triple-double. Tuesday’s game was the first for Podziemski since March 6, and his back did not appear to trouble him. The Warriors guard hit two critical three-pointers in crunch time to help the Warriors put away the Bucks, and the overall stat line was solid. With Stephen Curry unavailable, Moses Moody remained in the starting lineup on Tuesday, finishing with seven points, seven rebounds, three assists and one three-pointer in 25 minutes. Podziemski was the starter before his injury, which will likely be the case once Curry returns.

With the Kings fighting for playoff positioning in the West, this is a significant blow to the team’s hopes of making a run at a top-six seed. Post only played eight minutes in Monday’s loss to the Nuggets, with Denver’s decision not to play Nikola Jokic factoring into the rookie’s lack of playing time. Green did a bit of everything in this game and came close to recording a 5x5. Aside from his four turnovers, this was an excellent night in the box score for him. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough for Golden State to maintain their winning ways and take advantage of Denver missing Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Steve Kerr said that Stephen Curry could rest against the Bucks on Tuesday, and it’s unclear if that will extend to Green. If he plays, Green should continue to be a strong option in the box score.

Curry struggled during Monday’s loss to Denver; he shot 6-of-21 from the floor and turned the ball over seven times against a shorthanded Nuggets squad. Kerr described Curry as both “tired” and “exhausted,” which is certainly a reason to consider resting him on the second night of a back-to-back. This would also line up with the expected return of Brandin Podziemski (back), and Gary Payton II has played well in recent weeks, which would help make up for the potential absence of Curry. GP2 was one of Golden State’s best sources of offense in the first half, which was a factor in him starting the second half over Quinten Post. 11 of his 18 points came before the break, and while he wasn’t able to match that production in the second half, he was still able to have a productive night. GP2 isn’t known as a reliable option in fantasy basketball, but he has provided fifth-round value in nine-cat leagues. His 28 points were the most that he has scored in a game since he had 31 points in a loss in January. One game removed from becoming the first player in NBA history to make 4,000 three-pointers in a career, Curry added four more to his tally on Saturday.
